THEATER NETWORKING
Debido a la gran oferta teatral de los últimos
años, el número de espacios que ofrecen una
cartelera de espectáculos en forma permanente, también ha aumentado.
Due to the great quantity of theatric works in
the last years, it has increased the number of
theaters that offer a permanent performance
planning.
Como una manera de dar a conocer estos
espacios e invitar al público chileno y extranjero a asistir a las diversas actividades teatrales
que se realizan en la capital, nace la iniciativa
conjunta de las salas de teatro de Santiago de
publicar su información en una guía bilingüe,
la que permitirá entre otros, generar cruces de
audiencias entre las diferentes salas, introducir
el mercado teatral dentro de la oferta turística y
potenciar el trabajo en red.
This bilingual publication has emerged as an
agreement among the theater managers in order to publicize these places and invite Chilean
and Foreigner audiences to attend the different
theatrical activities of Santiago, and also to let
them know about the theater information and
facilities. This guide will mainly allow the members of the audience can circulate among the
different stages, and also includes theater as a
tourist activity and promotes the networking in
the theatric field.
Este importante proyecto comienza con la elaboración de la primera guía impresa de salas de
teatro de Santiago, un material que cuenta con
información de las principales salas de teatro
de la capital en inglés y español, en una primera
edición de 20.000 ejemplares.
Gracias al apoyo del Consejo Nacional de la
Cultura y las Artes, esta iniciativa es el primer
paso para la puesta en marcha de la Red de
Salas de Teatro - Santiago de Chile, que espera
ver la luz durante el año 2012 y que significará, entre otras muchas actividades, la primera
estrategia de marketing asociado del teatro en
Chile.

This important project begin with this guide,
a first printed map of the theater center of
Santiago that contains information about the
principal performance stages in English and
Spanish, with 20.000 free magazines.
With the support of the CNCA (National Culture &
Arts Counsil), this guide is the first step to implement the theater networking – Santiago of Chile,
which is going to start in 2012 and it will represent
the first marketing work of the Chilean theater.

Teatro del Puente is located over the Mapocho river and is the
only theater in the world that actually has this kind of location.
It was established Historic National Monument in 1997 and its
aim is disseminate and increase the value of the contemporary

de Patrimonio Cultural, el que reconoce su labor de
