75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
On Sunday January 17th, 2016, the Altar Rosary
Society invites you to join us in celebrating our 75th
Anniversary of establishment at St. Anne Catholic
Community with Mass at 8:00 a.m. We will be reciting
the rosary at 7:30 a.m.
You are welcome to join the ladies of the Altar Rosary
Society in the gym afterwards,
where the Knights of Columbus
will be having a Pancake
Breakfast.
PATRIOTIC ROSARY
The Catholic Daughters invite all to
join in reciting the Patriotic Rosary
every First Thursday of the month
at 7 p.m. in the church.
We must pray for our country in these tough times.
The Patriotic Rosary is a beautiful recitation of
readings from our forefathers, praying for each state
and celebrating with patriotic songs.
Please join us with other St. Anne organizations in this
powerful prayer. You are welcome to vocalize a
decade of the rosary... if you choose to do so.

Thank You!
Heartfelt appreciation to all who gave Christmas cards, greetings, and gifts to me and
Bandit, and to those who provided meals over the holidays. Your generosity is
astounding – your caring kindness and thoughtfulness touched me more than you can
know. With a heart full of gratitude, I lift you in prayer daily for the bountiful
blessings all of you have showered upon me. May all of God’s richest blessings be
upon you in return.
Fr. Tommy
‘Give, and there will be gifts for you: a full measure, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing, will be poured
into your lap; because the standard you use will be the standard used for you.'

JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD AND DEEP INTO THE
CATHOLIC FAITH
Do you want to learn more about your Catholic faith? Beginning on January 17, we will be
showing the Catholicism series from Bishop Barron. The video series will be shown in the
Saint Anne school library on Sunday mornings (8:45 – 9:45 a.m.) during the morning CCE
class. This invitation is open to any parishioner who would like to watch this edifying video.
If you know of fallen away Catholics, invite them to attend. Or if your child is in the CCE
program, you could spend the time learning while your child is in class.
You can watch the trailer for the series at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?

This is an excellent way to grow more knowledgeable about your faith and have fun doing it.
I hope you will join us.

This week marks my one-year anniversary since I joined St. Anne as the Music Director. In that time, the music
program has blossomed and grown, and we have seen many changes including:
•
•
•
Forming a regular Children’s Choir that sings monthly at weekend Masses
New members joining four of our choirs, including quite a few instrumentalists who accompany the
choirs
The implementation of regular music concerts, to be continued in 2016, on April 25 and August 29.
Thank you to all who have helped make these areas of growth possible!
