• Mains Charging Plug – CamCaddy2 can be powered by any USB mains plug. Please use
code SCA018 for a UK compatible plug and SCA027 for a European compatible plug to order from

• In car Charging 12v Plug – CamCaddy2 can be powered by any USB 5v output car plug.

• If camera battery charging is needed in remote locations or you will be away from a conventional
power source for extended periods CamCaddy2 can be powered by the Freeloader range of solar

Operation
Please note - CamCaddy2 sets the correct voltage and polarity automatically.
Slide back the moveable top deck of CamCaddy2 to enable the camera battery to be clamped either
flat or upright on its lower deck ensuring the battery terminals are facing the metal contact sliders
(1). Once the contact sliders are facing the + and – of the battery terminals, push the battery so that
the contacts touch the terminals.
Now connect the USB cable to the micro USB port on the side of CamCaddy2 (2) and the other end
into a USB port of a laptop or PC or any other USB charging device.
The LCD display will now be activated and charging will begin – see LCD Indication for more detail.
LCD Indication
• ‘Stby’ ICON indicates no battery fitted. Charger is ready in stand-by mode (4)
• Charging in progress: BATTERY ICON is filing up and simultaneously indicates by
00% ~ 100% (5)
• Charging completes: BATTERY ICON stays fully filled and simultaneously indicates 100%
FULL ICON (6), indicates charged capacity (7) and indicates charging duration (8). This 3
indication will cycle
• Poor / defective battery: “POOR or FAIL” ICON blinks. Such battery has limited operation hours
and battery replacement is recommended (9).

CamCaddy2 has been designed to provide accurate and fast charging of any block style
camera battery (3.7v - 9v) apart from a limited selection of cameras listed on front page.
WARRANTY: CamCaddy2 is supplied with a 24 month warranty. Should a failure occur
during this time Solar Technology International Ltd will repair or replace any faulty part,
at its discretion.
Solar Technology International Ltd does not accept liability for any 3rd party damage how
so ever caused or any costs associated with the return of faulty products.

CamCaddy2 a été conçu pour fournir la charge rapide et précise de toutes les batteries
de caméra de style de bloc (3.7v - 9v) en dehors d’un choix limité de caméras figurant sur la
première page.
CamCaddy2 wurde entwickelt, um genaue und schnelle Aufladung von jedem

Opération
