The location of the museum at one end of the base C u a t r o V i e n t o s a i r, r o a d o f E x t r e m a d u r a ( A - 5 ) provides it with sufficient relevance with respect to an environment especially suitable. The large open space that surrounds can tackle the project of a building equipped dimensional and the atmosphere appropriate to the unique formal content that has to hold. The project also discusses the successful resolution of functional problems that the program poses, adequate representation values that incorporates the contents of the museum. All building space will be available for groups planes, stimulated to a more representative museum of what is normal now. This creates a noble stage for civic life and the entire aviation community. The holes in the roof slab let light to a large courtyard located in the center of the building, which houses garden of aircraft, space reserved exclusively for exposure of larger aircraft and resistance to located in this central place of the museum, by a large vacuum from the top of exposure, from which dis cove r, as i f i t w e re a box , the garde n of aircraf t. The folded shape of the exterior walls generates spaces inside the building, which sets out the pictures, banners and small objects, such as models, freely in all the perimeter of the museum's exhibition area. This is a project that was born from taking into account climate and environmental conditions, we wanted from with the design and architectural elements, without using mechanical systems, which are regarded as more systems support, ie make an architecture adapted to the environment, sensitive to the impact it causes to nature, and that attempts to minimize energy consumption and with it pollution. Result in a building of great beauty, with the addition of bioclimatic modern support systems, these give features exceptional energy efficiency and comfort of occupants, translating directly into lower energy consumption of those who occupy the building with operating saving operation of the building. Bellow, ground floor. The proposed solution essentially follows the geometry in plan that has the plot and the study of circular motion. Sometimes which the geometric and conceptual designs are such clearly that this type of architecture is a road marking can not and should exit. Interior spaces are generated as a nuclei of air and light through the building and organizing the program around the same offering total flexibility and versatility spatial organization, providing light and ventilation into the building. The archi te ctural re s pons e goe s through a s e t publ ic place s inside and outside the building, to be credible as such. It is pensive building outward toward the asphalt, traffic and open inside is a space generated by the same laws of geometry circular that gives living green areas with colors and textures statement with sports facilities around. In this way the building is to melt the exterior with the interior inviting nature into the and giving it the feeling that their decks have been invaded by it. This "living roof" has the function of keeping cool inside the building, that is, by significantly increasing its mass (tires, planters, walls) increase the thermal inertia of the building (we keep the comfort temperature within the building without energy assets). In summer the interior, temperature is cool despite the heat of the street, ventilating the building flows a i r t h r o u g h t h e i r c o u r tya r d s . T h e s k y l i g h t s a n d g l a s s wa l l s , gates and curtains are controlled by a computerized open and closed to maintain temperature inside the enclosure and facilitate step in the breeze outside. It really is an ecological response showing concern about the green space that we badly needed in some places. De arriba hacia abajo; planta sótano, planta primera y planta segunda. Above to the right, implantation of the building. Bellow, view of the park from viewer.
