Remodelada en el año 2009 la Nueva Estación se ha transformado en un moderno recinto, más
confortable, accesible y agradable al usuario, manteniendo su tradicional ubicación en el Centro
de la ciudad, muy próxima a la Catedral y al MEH. Son numerosas las líneas de autobús internacionales, nacionales y provinciales que comunican la Provincia de Burgos con numerosos destinos.

El carácter peatonal del centro histórico aconseja
prescindir del coche siempre que sea posible y desplazarse a pie. El aparcamiento en el centro urbano
está regulado por la ORA (zona azul), que limita el
estacionamiento de lunes a viernes desde las 10 a las
14h. y de 16 a 20h.y los sábados de 10 a 14h.
La ciudad cuenta con una extensa red de carril bici que
se extiende desde el campus universitario hasta el
polígono industrial de Gamonal, pasando por el centro
histórico. Además, el Ayuntamiento ofrece un servicio
de préstamo de bicicletas llamado BICIBUR.
Realiza 3 rutas por la ciudad y alfoz, desde un recorrido de 35 minutos con la ruta más corta hasta un recorrido de 1:15h. que nos acerca a la Cartuja de Miraflores
y al Monasterio de San Pedro de Cardeña.
Este servicio permite conocer los lugares más emblemáticos de la ciudad a través de dos recorridos que
parten de la Catedral y que permite contemplar más
de 30 monumentos iluminados. También es posible
alquilar el servicio para eventos.

The pedestrian character of the historic centre suggests that you would better go on foot instead of
going by car. Car parking downtown is regulated by
the ORA system (blue precincts), that limit parking
from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 14h., and from
16h to 20h.
The city has an extensive bicycle lane that extends
from the university campus to Gamonal industrial estate, crossing the historic centre. Besides, the City
Council offers a bicycle hire service called BICIBUR.
Offers 3 routes across the city and its township, from
the shortest 35 minute journey to the longest
1:15h.journey that takes you to the Cartuja de
Miraflores and San Pedro de Cardeña Monastery.
This service allows you to know the most emblematic
places in the city along two routes that start at the
Cathedral. You will be able to enjoy the sight of more
than 30 lit monuments. Also you can hire this service
for events.
