Please send lots of love to our third graders who begin their SBAC
tests this week and to our fourth graders who will be continuing!
Kindergarten and second grade will begin MAP testing next week. We
saw so much growth in the cumulative math and ELA assessments,
and we are excited to see them show what they know on these end of
year tests, as well!
On days that they are testing, students will have less or no homework.
The purpose is to ensure that students are getting plenty of time to play, run around, and get their energy out
in the afternoon, as well as going to bed early to get plenty of sleep. Thank you for all of your work to ensure
that our students are ready to come to school on time ready to show their best selves!

Thank you all for your work to ensure that your students were present and on time last week! On days that
classes are MAP or SBAC testing, each class that has 100% attendance will receive free dress the following day.
For SBAC testing, if students arrive after 7:45, they will be required to participate in make up testing on a later
day, so that they don’t disturb planning sessions. Please see the full testing schedule below to find out what
days your child’s class will be testing and eligible for free dress!

window, and they include days for make-up testing as well,
so students will not be testing every single day of the week. If
you would like more specific information, please reach out to your child’s teacher for their classroom testing
schedule.

Career Day on June 10th
On Friday, June 10, from 8:00-9:00pm, we will be hosting our Career Day, for family and community members to
teach our students about their day-to-day work and the opportunities that will be open our our rising leaders in
the future. If you or someone you know would be interested in doing a short presentation for each classroom in
your grade level, please reach out to Ms. Kennedy or your classroom representative by Wednesday, May 18th.

Por favor, envíe un montón de amor a nuestros estudiantes de tercer
grado que comienzan sus examines de SBAC esta semana y para
nuestros estudiantes de cuarto grado que van a continuar! Kinder y
segundo grado comenzarán los exámenes de MAP la próxima semana .
Vimos tanto crecimiento en las evaluaciones de matemáticas y ELA
acumulativos , y estamos muy contentos de verlos mostrar lo que saben
en estos exámenes anuales finales.
En los días que los estudiantes están en exámenes, los estudiantes
tendrán menos o ninguna tarea. El propósito es asegurar que los estudiantes están recibiendo un montón
de tiempo para jugar, correr , y sacar su energía por la tarde, además de ir a la cama temprano para
conseguir un montón de sueño . Gracias por todo su trabajo para asegurar que nuestros estudiantes están
dispuestos a venir a la escuela a tiempo listos para mostrar lo mejor de sí mismos !

Gracias a todos por su trabajo para asegurarse de que su hijo o hija esta presente! En los días en que
las clases tenga los examenes de MAP o SBAC , cada clase que tenga el 100% de asistencia recibirá el
vestido libre al día siguiente. Para los examenes de SBAC, si los estudiantes llegan después de las
7:45, estarán obligados a participar en los examenes de recuperación el día siguente, para que no
interrumpan las sesiones de planificación. Por favor vea el calendario completo de examenes que
esta a continuación para averiguar qué día la clase de su hijo(a) será elegible para probar y libre de
vestir!
Preparacion de Examenes y motivacion
La época del año está llegando a nuestros
estudiantes para mostrar lo que saben en los
examenes finales del año! Estamos muy orgullosos
de todo su trabajo duro, y sabemos que usted
también! Para que los estudiantes estén totalmente
preparados para hacer mejor su trabajo, por favor
asegúrese de que duerman lo suficiente la noche
anterior y que lleguen a la escuela lo
suficientemente temprano para comer un desayuno
nutritivo . Desayuno terminará a las 7:40 am cada
día.
Horarios de Examenes
A continuación se presentan los horarios que los niveles de grado van a seguir durante los examenes.
Las fechas de abajo son la fechas generales de los examanes, y que incluyen los días para los
examenes de recuperacion, así que los estudiantes no estarán en examenes todos los días de la
semana. Si desea obtener información más específica , por favor acercarse a la maestra (o) de su hijo
para su horario de examenes en el salon.

Dia De Professiones- 10 de Junio
El viernes, 10 de junio de 8:00-9:00 pm , estaremos presentando nuestro dia de Profesiones para
nuestros miembros de familia y de la comunidad para enseñarle a los estudiantes sobre su trabajo y
las oportunidades que se abrirán para nuestros líderes prometedores en el futuro . Si usted o alguien
que usted conoce estaría interesado en hacer una breve presentación en cada clase en su nivel de
grado , por favor acercarse a la Sra. Kennedy o su representante de salon para el miércoles ,18 de
mayo.
