THE SCHOOL
Estudio Sampere Salamanca is located
in a pedestrian street just five minutes
from the Plaza Mayor (main square). It has
7 classrooms. It is a small school with a
friendly atmosphere, where you soon get
to know everyone. The school has a WIFI
network and a computer room with internet
access.

INFORMATION
Junior Course (13-15 years old)
and Teen Course (16-18 years old)
take place in Salamanca, during
June, July and August.
Both programs have many features
in common but are designed for
different ages with different needs.
The most important difference
between the two Programs is
supervision during free time.
CHARACTERISTICS

»» 4 levels available: Beginner,
Elementary, Intermediate,
Advanced.
»» 20 lessons (3 hours per day) per
week in small groups (maximum:
12 students).
»» Books and material for the course
supplied by Estudio Sampere.
»» End of course certificate given
to student when course is
completed.

Students should arrive at MadridBarajas airport before 4pm on
Sunday before the start of the
course. A private bus will be
waiting for them at Madrid airport,
so that the students enrolled in the
Junior-Teen Program may travel
comfortably to Salamanca. The trip
to Salamanca takes less than three
hours. Estudio Sampere staff will
be waiting for students upon their
arrival in Salamanca.
Students should depart from
Madrid-Barajas airport after 12am
on Saturday after the end of the
course. A private bus will take the
students back to Madrid. Estudio
Sampere staff will be waiting
for students upon their arrival at
Madrid Airport to help with check-in
and take them to the security gate.
Transportation Madrid-SalamancaMadrid is included in the price of
the course.

It is vital to state any kind of special diets as well as allergies.
ACTIVITIES
Both Programs include cultural, sports and a wide
variety of other cultural and intellectual activities at no
additional cost. A different activity is planned for each
day except Sunday and includes visits to museums,
group events, a day at the swimming pool, excursions
and field trips outside of Salamanca.
Family Residence
Meeting young people from other countries is a very
rewarding part of the Program, allowing students to
broaden their view of the world. Activities permit and
encourage these contacts. Estudio Sampere staff
supervise all activities. Sport shoes, a swimsuit and
beach towel should be packed. A sweater will also be
needed as the weather tends to be cool at night. A list
of clothing and necessary items will be included in the
Student Handbook.
Estudio Sampere has rented this small residence for
the summer and can accommodate up to 40 students
in double rooms. It includes full board and laundry
facilities. The residence, a family business, is just a 10
minute walk from the Plaza Mayor. The owners, who
live in the residence, are available 24/7.
INSURANCE
Spanish Homes
Homestay families have been carefully selected for
their good value, welcome, cleanliness, reliability,
facilities and location. The families live within walking
distance of the school (about 10 to 20 minutes away).
University Residence
Another option that Estudio Sampere offers during
the summer months is accommodation at a University
residence, with students from other schools and
universities. It has double rooms, dining area, common
room, laundry facilities, security, reception desk and a
janitor. At this residence, the meal schedule is fixed.
Student will be accompanied by a tutor 24/7.
All students enrolled in the Junior-Teen Program in
Salamanca are covered by an insurance policy with
Europea Seguros Insurance Company. Each student
will be issued an identification card for the duration of
his/her Program in Salamanca.
All European Union Citizens are included in the Spanish
Social Security and should bring forms E111/E-128 or
European Health Card from their country of origen/
residence. Citizens from other countries should check
with their local Spanish Embassy. If a student is under
medical care, we advise him/her to bring sufficient
medication to cover his/her stay in Spain. Students
are encouraged to buy extra insurance or bring proof
of their present insurance to cover medical expenses,
loss of luggage and cancellation fees.
