It’s been one of the first Argentine Estancias
to open its gate to tourism. Built in 1830, its
colonial Manor was originally an old post on
Camino Real that joined Buenos Aires with
the north of the Country,
Declared by San Antonio City Hall as a place of historical significance, it’s a town soaked in Gauchesca
tradition, cradle of the famous book “Don Segundo Sombra”. Many personalities stayed at La Estancia
and in numerous occasions the unforgettable singer Carlos Gardel was one of its guests. It was also the
location for several movies such as “Camila” directed by María Luisa Bemberg and “Las Cosas del
Querer”, directed by Jaime Chávarri. When the noise of the city burns you out and in need of
relaxation, La Bamba de Areco offers you a peaceful day in the countryside away from the big city. Once

La Demasiada environment takes us to enjoy spectacular scenery of
extensive plains and millennial hills. Placed in La Vigilancia Hills, its
park, designed by its founder Boris Orentschuk, gives the guests the

sea and the airport. The Manor was built in a Colonial Spanish style. Much of its building material was
rescued from a monastery in Córdoba province. The decoration is complemented with colonial furniture
and pieces of art brought from Indonesia.
