LISD TECH Center Programs 2015-16
COLLEGE NOW
Current eligible LISD TECH Center students may choose to begin meeting the
academic demands of a post-secondary education by dual-enrolling in college
courses. These courses will apply toward a post-secondary certificate or degree
as aligned to the student’s career goals.
FREE COLLEGE CREDIT (ARTICULATION)
Students may be eligible to earn free college credit at participating post-secondary
institutions using the knowledge and skills learned through their LISD TECH Center
program.
WORK-BASED LEARNING
Receive first-hand experience in your career path through job shadowing and
on-the-job experiences.

by the LISD TECH Center based on State of Michigan content standards and Michigan Merit Curriculum
requirements. Your high school counselor can give you more information about your district’s graduation

Other LISD TECH Center services:
Career Preparation Services - Encourages Lenawee County students to create
an Educational Development Plan (EDP). Through the use of EDPs, students gain
information about the necessary academic knowledge, technological skills and
work behavior necessary for success in a career of their choice.
Adult Learning Services @ LISD TECH Center - Tuition-based morning, afternoon
and evening courses are offered at a reasonable tuition rate. Customer satisfaction
guaranteed.
LISD TECH Center Facilities are available for use by non-profit groups. (kitchen facilities not available).
