Opening ceremony
Die Eröffnungsveranstaltung des IFMCamp 2016 hat am Ende sogar noch ein
bisschen später angefangen als mit der
angekündigten Verspätung. Aber als dann
die 2000 Leute schließlich vor der Bühne
zusammen gekommen sind, war die Aufregung in der Luft zu spüren.

2016 got off to an even later start than
the already delayed beginning, but when
2000 people finally did gather together in
front of the big stage, the excitement in
the air was clear to see.
La ceremonia de apertura del campamento 2016 de IFM empezó aún más tarde
que el comienzo ya retrasado, pero cuando 2000 personas finalmente se juntaron
delante del gran escenario, la emoción se
respiraba en el ambiente.
Many delegations came in their blue
shirts, some in full Falcon-hero costume
with face paint and others danced in their
pyjamas.

First on the stage were Immi Benz and Josi
Tischner, Chairs of the German Falcons,
and Christine Sudbrock, Secretary General
of IFM-SEI. They made a great speech, in
German, Spanish and English respectively.

Einige sogar im kompletten Falken-Kostüm mit Gesichtsbemalung. Wieder andere kamen in ihren Schlafanzügen.
Die ersten, die auf der Bühne zu sehen
waren, waren die beiden Falken Bundesvorsitzenden Immi Benz und Josi Tischner.
Zusammen mit der IFM-SEI Generalsekretärin Christine Sudbrock hielten sie ihre
Begrüßungsrede für die Angereisten aus
30 Ländern auf Deutsch, Englisch und
Spanisch. In ihrer Ansprache erinnerten
sie daran, dass einige Genossinnen und
Genossen in unseren Reihen fehlen. Sie
wären gerne gekommen ...

Was ist das für 1 Youth Area?
Laue Sommerabende auf dem IFM
Camp lassen besonders gut in der
Youth Area verbringen. Und da warten einige Highlights auf euch in den
nächsten Tagen. Auf der großen Bühne
geht’s heute Abend mit Dr. Krapula um
20:30 Uhr los. Die Band aus Kolumbien macht lateinamerikanischen Alternative-Rock und ist gerade auf Europa-Tour. Wir freuen uns, dass sie einen
Zwischenstopp auf unserem Camp
einlegen.
Außerdem öffnen die beiden Bar-Zelte (mit und ohne alkoholischen Getränken) jeden Abend ihre Pforten für
euch. Das nicht-alkoholische Zelt wird
ab sofort auch am Nachmittag öffnen
und einen Raum bieten, für nettes Zusammensitzen und selbstorganisierte
Angebote. Während dieser Zeit wird
das Youth-Area Team für euch auch
als Ansprechpartner*innen vor Ort zur
Verfügung stehen. Zwischen 15 und
17 Uhr könnt ihr euch an sie wenden,
wenn ihr zum Programm Fragen habt
oder etwas beitragen wollt, wenn ihr
Ideen für selbst-organisierte Angebote im Nachmittagsbereich habt oder
wenn ihr Unterstützung bei der Umsetzung braucht.
Am Dienstag (morgen!) entert der
Poetry Slammer Sergio Garau um
20 Uhr die Bühne. Der aus Sardinien
stammende Künstler spielt mit ganz
verschiedenen Sprachen. Lasst euch
überraschen und inspirieren von deutschen, französischen, italienischen
und englischen Texten.
Anschließend habt ihr morgen Abend
die Möglichkeit, selbst kreativ zu werden. Bei einer Jam-Session im großen
Zelt kann kommen, wer Lust auf Musik
hat und entweder selbst zum Instrument greifen oder kreativen Genoss*innen zu lauschen. Wenn ihr selbst
Instrumente dabei habt, bringt sie mit

best spent in the youth area. And a
couple of highlights will be waiting for
you there in the next few days. At the
big stage, Dr. Krapula will start today
at 8.30 pm. The band from Columbia
produces Latin-American alternative
The IFM Camp 2016 is supported by:
rock and is on tour in Europe right now
so we’re happy that they are stopping
by our camp!
Beyond the daily events in the youth
area, both bar tents (one serving alcohol, the other not) will open their doors
for you (whilst the club opens every
other day). The non-alcoholic tent will
also be accessible in the afternoon
from now on. You can use the room for
self-organised events and workshops
or just hang out there. During this
time, between 3 and 5 pm, the youth
area team will also be available for you
if you have questions concerning the
programme or if you want to contribute in some way.
Tuesday (tomorrow!), the poetry slammer Sergio Garau will take the stage at
8 pm. The artist from Sardinia plays in
different languages. Be surprised and
inspired by English, French, Italian and
German.
Afterwards, you have the chance to
get creative yourself. You can come to
a jam session in the big tent to either
make your own music or listen to other
creative comrades who play together. If
you have any of your own instruments,
bring them with you … and make some
music.

youth area, las dos carpas donde están
los bares (uno sirve alcohol, el otro no)
abren las puertas para usted todos los
días (mientras el club funciona en días
alternos). El bar no-alcohólico también
va a estar abierto por las tardes desde
ahora. Usted puede utilizar el espacio
para organizar sus proprios eventos y
talleres o simplemente para relajarse.
Desde las 15h hasta las 17h, el equipo
del youth area también estará disponible si usted tiene preguntas acerca
de la programación o quiere contribuir
de alguna manera.
El martes (manana!), el poetry slammer Sergio Garau va a presentarse desde las 20h. El artista de Cerdena trabaja con distintos idiomas, entonces
usted podrá sorprenderse e inspirarse
en Inglés, Francés, Italiano y Alemán.
Y entonces usted tendrá la oportunidad de ensenar tu propia creatividad!

escuchar a otros companeros creativos

26th July at 2pm in the Workshop Area!

OGCEYOD and ASYOUSED, Youth Advocates Ghana, Pionniers du Senegal,
Pionniers du Mali, Esplac, Kinderfreunde/Rote Falken, Nueva Generacion, MILAVF and Los Cachorros.

Public comic reading with the artist
and author Martina Schradi. She collects stories of LGBTIQ (Lesbian, Gay,
Bi, Trans, Inter and Queer people) and
makes biographic comic strips out of
them. With her project she wants to
show the everyday lives of LGBTIQ people and what difficulties they face in
society because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. You can join the
public reading from the age of 11 years
and it‘s going to be in German and
English as well. Afterwards there will
be time to ask questions and a chance
to hang out with the artist.

Schwule, Bisexuelle, Transgender, Transidente und Intersexuelle und queeren Menschen) und zeichnet daraus
Comic-Reportagen. Mit ihrem Projekt
möchte sie zeigen, wie der Alltag von
LGBTI* aussieht und welchen Schwierigkeiten sie durch ihre sexuelle Orientierung oder Geschlechtsidentität

Fledermäuse hängen mit dem Kopf
nach unten. Nur eine nicht. Das ist Fledolin. Wie es Fledolin damit ergeht, lesen wir in einer spannenden Geschichte. Aus dieser Geschichte erstellen wir
dann gemeinsam ein Hörspiel. Wir
nehmen Geräusche und Stimmen mit
dem Mikrophon auf, spielen Musik ein
und schneiden alles so, dass ihr und
andere Kinder die Geschichte von Fledolin anhören könnt.

In unserer anderen Welt gibt es auch
ein Reisebüro. Das Symbol für das Reisebüro ist ein Bus mit I für Information. Ihr findet uns am grauen Container
unter dem Baum. Die Öffnungszeiten
sind täglich 9.30 bis 11.30, 14 bis 16 und
20-21 Uhr.
Bei uns könnt ihr Ausflüge in die Umgebung buchen.
Wichtig ist, dass ihr so früh wie möglich zu uns kommt. Für Tagesausflüge
könnt ihr Lunchpakete in der Küche bestellen.
Zu tragende Kosten entstehen für den
Reisebus und Eintrittsgelder. Schließt
euch mit anderen Gruppen zusammen, damit ihr die Kosten für den Reisebus teilen könnt. Eure Suche nach
Reisepartner*innen könnt ihr an unserem roten Brett veröffentlichen.

It is important that you come to us as

Exclusively today, the archive tent will
show an exhibition about the great international Falcon camps. From tomorrow, there will be a cosy reading area.

Material über die Geschichte der Arbeiterjugendbwegung. Exklusiv und
nur heute wird eine Ausstellung über
die großen internationalen Falkenzeltlager gezeigt. Ab Morgen befindet sich
in dem Zelt ein gemütlicher Lesebereich. ◆ El archivo guarda y mostrará
materiales sobre el movimiento obrero
juvenil. Hoy muestrará una exposicion
sobe los fabulosos campamentos internacionales de Los Falcones. Des de
mañana, habrá un rincón tranquilo
de lectura.
¿Ya has caminado por el campamento? Muchos participantes aprovecharon nuestro primer día completo en el
campamento para conocer a la gente
de su pueblo, decidir las reglas de convivencia, pensar en talleres que pueden proponer, jugar a juegos e incluso
construir muebles y piscinas! Nuestros
reporteros visitaron las ciudades y registraron algunos de estos momentos en los que niños y niñas, jóvenes y
adultos se unieron para trabajar hacia
objetivos comunes. ¡Y todo esto es sólo
el principio!
Die Dörfer nehmen Gestalt an
Seid ihr schon mal auf dem Platz ein
bisschen herumgewandert? Viele Teilnehmer*innen haben den ersten Tag
dazu genutzt, sich kennenzulernen,
sich über gemeinsame Regeln zu verständigen, über Workshops nachzudenken, die sie halten könnten. Sie
haben Spiele gespielt und Möbel und
Swimming Pools gebaut. Unsere Reporter sind in den Dörfern unterwegs
gewesen und haben einige lustige Momente aufgenommen, in denen Kinder, Jugendliche und junge erwachsene zusammen gekommen sind, um auf
gemeinsame Ziele hinzuarbeiten. Und
das ist erst der Anfang!

the camp? Many villagers have taken
advantage of our first full day of camp
to get to know each other, decide on
common rules, think of workshops
they can run, play games and even
build furniture and swimming pools!
Our reporters went around the towns
and registered some of these fun moments where children, youngsters and
adults came together to work towards
common goals. And this is just the beginning!
