Why it’s important to update your navigation disc.
Your navigation system is most effective with an up-to-date detailed
map database - guiding you daily, to places where you need and want
to be. Yet, each year thousands of new roads, bridges and tunnels are
built, restaurants and banks open and close, ATMs and gas stations
appear and disappear. Keeping your navigation system current is
essential for the most reliable navigation experience.

Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions constitute the entire
agreement between NT (and its licensors, including their licensors and
suppliers) and you pertaining to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes in their entirety any and all written or oral agreements previously
existing between us with respect to such subject matter.
License Limitations on Use: You agree that your license to use this
Data is limited to and conditioned on use for solely personal, noncommercial purposes, and not for service bureau, timesharing or other
similar purposes. Except as otherwise set forth herein, you agree not to
otherwise reproduce, copy, modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse
engineer any portion of this Data, and may not transfer or distribute it in
any form, for any purpose, except to the extent permitted by mandatory
laws.
Severability: You and NT agree that if any portion of this agreement is
found illegal or unenforceable, that portion shall be severed and the
remainder of the Agreement shall be given full force and effect.
Governing Law: The above terms and conditions shall be governed by
the laws of the State of Illinois, without giving effect to (i) its conflict of
laws provisions, or (ii) the United Nations Convention for Contracts for
the International Sale of Goods, which is explicitly excluded. You agree
to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the State of Illinois for any and
all disputes, claims and actions arising from or in connection with the
Data provided to you hereunder.
License Limitations on Transfer: Your limited license does not allow
transfer or resale of the Data, except on the condition that you may
transfer the Data and all accompanying materials on a permanent basis
if: (a) you retain no copies of the Data; (b) the recipient agrees to the
terms of this End User License Agreement; and (c) you transfer the Data
in the exact same form as you purchased it by physically transferring the
original media (e.g., the CD-ROM or DVD you purchased), all original
packaging, all manuals and other documentation. Specifically, multidisc
sets may only be transferred or sold as a complete set as provided to
you and not as a subset thereof.

Software Application Update Instructions
Important Notes Before Starting Software Update Procedure:
Caution! Please start these procedures while vehicle is parked and engine running.
Caution! Do not turn off the vehicle’s power or eject the disc during this update, as the navigation
system may become damaged.
• The Software Application update must begin with DISC 1. The total application update process
will take approximately 50 minutes to complete.
• Navigation system screens vary by vehicle, therefore, images shown may differ.
• If problems occur during the update process, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
Items Required To Start:
• Software Application Update disc set (2) and Navigation Map Update disc set (2).
Software Application Installation:
2. A successful installation displays the
screen shown in Figure 2.0. Press the
“Eject” button and remove DISC 1. The
navigation system will automatically reboot.
Installation - DISC 1 & 2
1. While the vehicle is parked and running,
please turn the Navigation System on.
Insert Software Application DISC 1 into
the DVD slot. The installation will start
automatically. The "Installing Disc" screen
displays installation progress (Figure 1.0 ).
Caution:
• When installation begins, do not turn off
the vehicle’s power or eject the disc, as
damage may occur to the navigation system.

finishes pre-processing, the navigation
system will then restart.

vehicle is turned off during the update, the process will continue until disc installation is complete
or until the next disc is required.

Gracenote® Database Update Instructions

Important Notes Before Starting Gracenote Update Procedure:
Caution! During this time, you may drive or turn off the vehicle at 5% of completion. If the vehicle
is turned off during the update, the process will continue until installation has completed.
• The Gracenote update process will take approximately 30 minutes to finish.
• If only installing the Gracenote Database update, you must start with DISC 2.
Software Application Installation Issues:
1. If the screen in Figure 1.0 displays after
Software Application DISC 1 is inserted:

a conflictos de ley, ni (ii) La Convención de Contratos para la Adquisición y
Venta Internacional de Bienes de las Naciones Unidas, la cual se excluye
expresamente. Usted acuerda someterse a la jurisdicción personal del

ordinateurs de poche ou portables, les téléavertisseurs et les assistants
numériques personnels ou PDA.

que le reliquat de l’accord restera entièrement en vigueur.
Régime juridique : Les modalités et conditions ci-dessus sont régies
par les lois de l’État de l’Illinois, à l’exclusion (i) des dispositions relatives
au conflit des lois, ou plus particulièrement (ii) de la Convention des
Nations Unies sur les contrats de vente internationale de marchandises.
Le titulaire de la licence accepte de se soumettre à la juridiction de l'État
