The goal is to have every public tree trimmed at least once every four years. Should a public tree(s) need attention sooner for safety reasons (such as vehicle, pedestrian, traffic signal and or traffic sign obstructions or for any other safety reasons identified by the City’s Urban Forester) the tree will be addressed by the City. The City also offers a tree planting program. If your business or residence has a vacant site, per our computerized tree inventory, and you request a tree(s), a tree(s) will be planted at the City’s expense. We only ask that you agree to water the tree(s).
