Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Only household hazardous waste materials such as; lawn and garden
products, paint and related products, automotive fluids and batteries,
medicines, household cleaners, compact fluorescent light bulbs, ​and sharps.
No household trash, tires or commercial hazardous waste.
The Three R’s of Reusable Bags
You can play an important role in making Duarte a greener, healthier community by
reducing the litter and waste generated from single-use carry-out bags by using
reusable bags. Here are three new R’s to help you do:
Remind: Place your reusable bags by the door, near your car keys, or
write it down on your shopping list to remind you.
Ready: Keep a ready supply of them in your car and at the
office so that you can grab one when you need it.
Rethink: Stop and rethink about using your reusable bags just
for grocery store shopping. Consider all of the places where
you go shopping or buy take-out food, and try using them
there.
Temporary Roll-Off Boxes for Special Clean-Ups Available
Burrtec offers large roll off boxes for commercial clean-ups and special projects.
Containers are available for 7-day rentals and include delivery and removal. All
unwanted materials can be placed directly into the container with the exception of
hazardous waste, tires or large amounts of dirt, rock, concrete, or asphalt. Please call
our Customer Service Department to order one today!
Holiday Schedule
• Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26, 2015
• Christmas Day - Friday, December 25, 2015
• New Years Day - Friday, January 1, 2016
When the holiday falls on a weekday, collections for the remainder of the week will
be delayed by one day. There is no service interruption or delay when the holiday
falls on a Saturday or Sunday.

medicinas, limpiadores del hogar, bombillas fluorescente compactas, y
jeringas y objetos punzantes.
No basura del hogar, llantes o residuos peligrosos comercial.
Las Tres R de Bolsas reutilizables
Usted puede desempeñar un papel importante en hacer que Duarte sea una comunidad
más verde y más saludable reduciendo la basura y el desecho generado por bolsas
para llevar de un solo uso al Utilizar bolsas reutilizables. Aquí están tres nuevas R para
ayudarlo a hacer lo siguiente:
Recordar: Coloque sus bolsas reutilizables por la puerta, cerca sus
llaves del coche, o escríbalo en su lista de compras Para recordarle.
Reponer: Mantenga un suministro de estas bolsas en su
automóvil y en la oficina para que pueda agarrar una cuando
usted la necesita.
Reformular: Pare y vuelva a pensar acerca de utilizar sus
bolsas reutilizables sólo para ir de compras al supermercado.
Considere todos los lugares donde usted va de compras o
compra comida para llevar y trata de utilizarlas allí.
Cajas de roll-off temporales para Especial limpiezas Disponible
Burrtec ofrece gran rollo de cajas para limpiezas comerciales y proyectos especiales.
Los contenedores están disponibles para alquileres de 7 días e incluyen la entrega
y retirada. Todos los materiales no deseados se pueden colocar directamente en el
contenedor con la excepción de los residuos peligrosos, neumáticos o grandes
cantidades de tierra, rocas, concreto o asfalto. Por favor llame a nuestro Departamento
de Servicio al Cliente para pedir uno hoy!

Cuando el día festivo cae entre semana, las recolecciones para el resto de la
semana se tardarán un día. No habrá interrupción o demora de servicio cuando el
día festivo cae en un sábado o domingo.
