Leave behind your over-civilized life and visit a wild place few people will ever see!
Our backpack trip will transport you to Redwood canyon in Kings Canyon National
Park, where redwoods can grow over 350 feet tall and live for 1200-1800 years. The
Redwood Canyon contains the largest of all sequoia groves and the largest area of
old-growth sequoia trees in the world.
Never backpacked before? No problem! Try this beginner trip, specially tailored to
equip you with backpacking skills in a supportive, unhurried environment in a highly
sought after backpacking location.
This trip only has 8 spaces total! Sign-ups are on a first-come first-served basis and

There will be a mandatory backpack information meeting Monday, July 29 at 6 PM in
the LACF office at Lake Avenue church. In this meeting all relevant forms and gear
will be distributed. The cost is $25 per person and 10 hours of community service to
be completed before the trip departure.

Deja atrás tu vida civilizada y visitar un lugar salvaje poca gente a ver! Nuestro
viaje mochila te transportará a Redwood cañón en el Parque Nacional Kings
Canyon, donde secoyas pueden crecer más de 350 metros de altura y en
directo para el año 1200-1800. El Redwood Canyon contiene el más grande de
todos los campos de la secoya y el área más grande de los árboles de la
secoya del viejo-crecimiento en el mundo.
Nunca mochila antes? No hay problema! Pruebe este viaje principiante,
especialmente diseñado para equiparlo con mochila habilidades en un entorno
de apoyo, sin prisas en un muy buscado después de ubicación con mochila.
Este viaje sólo tiene 8 plazas totales! Las inscripciones se encuentran en una
base de primer orden de llegada y deben ser recibidas por Joanna Quintanilla.

Habrá una reunión obligatoria mochila información Lunes, 29 de julio a las
18:00 en la oficina LACF en el lago Iglesia Avenue. En esta reunión se
distribuirán a todas las formas y equipo pertinentes. El costo es de $ 25 por
persona y 10 horas de servicio a la comunidad para ser completado antes de
la salida del viaje.
