Ignite Program Kickoff!
Who am I? What am I supposed to do with my life?
Is God calling me to marriage, priesthood, or consecrated life?
How can I live a happy and fulfilling life?
These are only some of the deep questions that so many young men ask when they start the
adventure of living out their faith in a deep and meaningful way. For the past two years, the
Vocations Office of the Archdiocese of New Orleans and Dumb Ox Ministries have partnered to provide a program for men who are juniors and seniors in high school to begin to
answer these questions. There are two great locations for young men to participate. The first
North Shore meeting is Monday, September 14th at the St. Luke the Evangelist Youth Center
(910 Cross Gates Blvd, Slidell) and the first South Shore meeting is Thursday, September
17th at the St. Catherine of Siena Youth Center (105 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie). Each night
starts with great food and fraternity at 6:30 pm, followed by an introduction to the group at
7:00 pm. There is nothing to lose, and much to gain! Visit http://nolapriest.com/ignite-yourdiscernment/ to watch the promo video and for more information. Contact the Ignite Program Director, Adam Fuselier, at [email protected] with any questions.

Living Stewardship Now
The family became regular volunteers at the shelter. They continued to donate money every month along
with household and personal items for the families, and gave their time to do chores and make friends. Be a
disciple and steward, and teach your children this way of life.

Satanás a Simón Pedro.
permita” (Marcos 8:32).
nuestra humanidad. María nunca pecó. Jesús es
verdaderamente humano y tampoco pecó. Jesús mismo
comparte plenamente nuestra humanidad para
hacernos partícipes de su divinidad. Por tal motivo, el
pecado no define la humanidad. Jesús nos invita a
pensar como Dios para apartar a Satanás.
