The 2-mile walk will begin in the northwest circle driveway on Mount
Mary University's campus. Walkers will proceed along the Menomonee River Parkway for 1-mile and return to Mount Mary via Menomonee River Parkway.
Teacher In The Library
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 3:30-6:30p.m.
Thursdays, 3:30-5:30p.m.
Teachers are available at Atkinson, Bayview, Capitol, Center Street, Forest Home(bilingual
Spanish teacher available), Martin King, Mill Road, Villard Square, and Washington Park Libraries during after school hours from September-early June to assist students in grades 1 through
8 and their parents with homework help, academic support and encouragement. Children
under 8 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Announcements

Early Pick-Ups: We ask that you do not pick your child up early from school unless there is an emergency.
Students leaving early disrupts the learning of everyone in the class.

Traffic Safety: Please follow the traffic patterns when dropping off and picking up your child. Watch for
children in the parking lots!

If your child is ill and will not be attending school, you must call either campus office before 8am to report your child’s absence.

There is FREE before school supervision at the 22nd Street Campus starting at 6:15am. There is no one to
supervise students at the 25th Street Campus before 7:10am.

Remember: ONLY people listed on the Emergency Contact Form filled out during registration and updated on Drop Off Day will be allowed to pick up your child. Please update this list with the school offices.

Parking: Please watch the signs. Do not park in No Parking areas for any length of time. Remember that
vehicles must not be parked in front of fire hydrants for any length of time. Cars parked in these areas
may be ticketed.

Bus: Parents, we ask that if you have transportation please pick your children up from their campus
rather than relying on the bus. We ask that the bus be reserved for those children who do not have transportation. Please be patient as we transport your child to the other campus.

Recess: All students enjoy recess time every day. It is important that your child is dressed appropriately
for the weather so recess is an enjoyable time. The weather during the season of fall in Wisconsin can be
warm one day, and cold the next. Please check the weather report every day to ensure that your child is
prepared to go out to recess.

10 a.m. – medio día "Celebración de Almas" con refrescos, música y acti
vidades infantiles
La caminata de 2 millas iniciará en el circule entrada al noroeste del recinto de la Universidad “Mount Mary”. Los caminantes procederán a lo largo del río “Menomonee Parkway” por 1 milla y volverán a la universidad
“Mount Mary” a través del rio “Menomonee Parkway”.

Recogidas Tempranas: Les pedimos que usted no recoja a su hijo/a temprano de la escuela a menos que haya
una emergencia. Los estudiantes que salen temprano interrumpen el aprendizaje de todos los miembros de la
clase.
Seguridad de Trafico: Por favor siga los patrones de trafico al dejar y recoger a su hijo. Tenga cuidado con los
niños en los estacionamientos!
Si su hijo/a esta enfermo y no asistirá a la escuela, usted debe llamar a las oficina de la escuela antes de las
8:am para reportar la ausencia de su hijo.
Tenemos supervisión gratis antes de escuela en el edificio de la calle 22 iniciando a las 6:15am. No tenemos
personal para supervisar a los estudiantes antes de las 7:10am en el edificio de la calle 25.
Recordatorio: SOLAMENTE las personas registradas en la forma de emergencia las cuales fueron llenadas
durante el día de la entrega de los útiles escolares podrán recoger a sus hijos. Por favor asegúrese de actualizar esta lista en las oficinas de la escuela .
Estacionamiento: Por favor, ver las señales. No se estacione en áreas prohibidas. Recuerde que los vehículos no deben ser estacionados delante de las tomas de agua para incendios en ningún momento. Todo
auto estacionado en estas áreas será multado.
Autobús: Padres de familia le pedimos que si usted cuenta con el medio de transportación por favor recoja a su hijo en el edificio correspondiente en lugar de contar con el autobús escolar. Les pedimos que
el autobús sea reservado para aquellos estudiantes que no cuentan con transportación. Por favor sea
paciente mientras transportamos a su hijo de un edificio al otro.
Recreo: Todos los estudiantes disfrutan de la hora del recreo todos los días. Es importante que su hijo
este vestido apropiadamente para el clima, así el recreo será un tiempo agradable. El clima durante la
temporada del otoño en Wisconsin puede ser caliente un día, y frío el siguiente día. Por favor, consulte el
reporte del tiempo todos los días para asegurarse de que su hijo este preparado para salir al recreo.
