Feast Day of St. Agnes

Prayer to Saint Agnes
St. Agnes, although you were only a child, you believed that Jesus was
always with you; help us to remember that he is also with us, and to remain true to his presence.
St. Agnes, you refused to give up your faith; help us to be proud of our
faith, to love it, to be strong in it, and to give witness to it daily.
St. Agnes, patron saint of children, watch over the children of the world;

From the Day Room ….. One of many moving thank you notes that we have received:
“Dear Day Room Family”,
Thank you so much for the kind and generous gifts I was given this Christmas for my baby
girl (to be born any day). I can’t wait to dress her up in all those precious clothes, read her
those bedtime stories and one day introduce her to the group of lovely people who have
done nothing but welcome me with open arms and grace. I feel so blessed to have met eve‐
ryone here both on the staff and other parishioners. Being part of this family has not only
opened my eyes and heart but has shown me and taught me generosity and unconditional
kindness that I will show and teach my daughter. Thank you for everything!”
The note included an amazingly beautiful ultrasound picture of the baby girl.

Evening Study Session - CATHOLICISM:
The New Evangelization
Throughout history, the call of Christ has sent people
to the corners of the earth with a message of great
joy — a message that has built civilizations, inspired
cultures, and even sent some believers to their
graves in support of their faith.
We have the same call: Evangelization
CATHOLICISM: The New Evangelization explores
the Church’s mission within the challenges of contemporary culture. Created by Father Robert Barron,
the study program focuses on the cultural obstacles
the Church faces today and sends us on a mission
with a message of great joy.
This 6-part study session is being offered on consecutive Thursday evenings starting February 27th from
7:00 - 8:30pm in the School Cafeteria. The sessions
involve group discussions and the viewing of DVD
clips by Father Barron. To register, please contact
Rob and Terry Gallagher at
[email protected] or (610) 996-6761
no later than Wednesday, February 5th so that workbooks can be ordered.
Cost for the workbooks will be between $20-$25.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
