Audrey Kelley-Fritz, Ed.S. - Polk County Public Schools

The Teen Summit 2013, presented through Polk County’s Teen Pregnancy
Prevention Alliance, will be held at Southeastern University, 1000 Longfellow
Boulevard, Lakeland, FL 33801. The event is free and will take place from 8:30am
– 3:00pm on Saturday, May 11th. It is open to youth ages 10 - 19, but preregistration is required and seating is limited. Teen participants will receive a free
lunch, backpacks, and t-shirts and other incentives throughout the day.
The one-of-a-kind Teen Summit brings teens together to discuss and learn about
life issues they face every day. They will touch on topics such as; self-esteem,
bullying, drug prevention, abstinence, suicide prevention, sexually transmitted
diseases (STDs), and how to avoid teen pregnancy. Youth who attend will receive
community service hours.
