Home and Hospital Visitation/Visita a Casa y Hospital
If someone you know is homebound or in the hospital,
please call the rectory and let us know. We would like to
keep them in our prayers and try to arrange to visit.

Mass Intentions
Part of our tradition as a Catholic Community is to
remember our loved ones in our prayer and gathering.
Many times, we do this simple gesture of our prayer in the
intentions of our masses, published each week in our
bulletin. If you would like to set a special intention for a
loved one, please contact the Rectory at least two weeks
prior to the date you would like to reserve.

Adult Social Group
First Tuesday of the month at 11:00 AM in the Rectory.
Parish Pastoral Council
Usually this group meets on the second Monday of the
month at 7:00 PM in the rectory unless it is a holiday.

My sincere thanks to all the people who sent me cards, Mass cards and other wishes for good health during my
recent chemo and radiation treatment. I will be going to see the surgeon soon. Please keep me in your prayers, as I will keep
you in mine. I cannot respond to everyone individually, so hopefully this note will be sufficient to express my thanks to all of

Dear Father Heneghan,
Since 2007, when we started the Debt Reduction Initiative, over 170 parishes have participated in this highly
successful program that has reduced parish debt in the Archdiocese of Chicago by $35,700,000.
Immaculate Heart of Mary is one of the parishes fortunate enough to have participated in this program and
benefited from the Archdiocesan matching funds. Just as your parishioners participated enthusiastically in their Debt
Reduction Program in anticipation of relieving their debt to the Archdiocese, the same enthusiasm exists at the new
parishes that will conduct the program this year.
As you encourage your parishioners to support the Appeal this year, please remind them of the benefits
Immaculate Heart of Mary received because of the Annual Catholic Appeal and the Debt Reduction Initiative. It is only
through the continued generosity of the Catholics in Cook and Lake Counties that the Archdiocese has the flexibility to
be able to continue to match the funds raised in the participating parishes. Thank you for your support of this exciting
initiative.

Desde 2007, cuando comenzamos la Iniciativa de Reducción de Deuda, más de 170 parroquias han participado
en este programa de gran éxito que ha reducido la deuda de la parroquia en la Arquidiócesis de Chicago por
$35,700,000.
Inmaculado Corazón de María es una de las parroquias que tienen la suerte de haber participado en este
programa y se benefició de los fondos de contrapartida de la Arquidiócesis. Al igual que sus feligreses participaron con
entusiasmo en su Programa de Reducción de la Deuda en previsión de alivio de su deuda con la Arquidiócesis, existe el
