The wicker as a sustainable material for the
New Spanish Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010,
designed by Miralles Tagliabue EMBT AA.
Ideas for a façade. We were focusing the master
class on the interest about the subtle relation
that exists between fashion and architecture.
The fashion in ephemeral while the architecture
is permanent.
Two different scales of production but with
similar creative process.
Both of them start with a two dimensional
object to end up with a 3 dimensional one.
The exercise was inviting the student to behave
as a tailor, approximant the forms till to achieve
the precision. The architect can achieve it only
through the model process.
The house of children: Living is leaving
footprints.
