Please excuse our dust! As you can see
we have already started installing solar
panelsintheparkinglotandonpor9ons
of the athle9c fields. Unfortunately, the
solarprojecthadtostartandendbefore
June to qualify for rebates and special
financing. Therefore we could not wait
un9lthesummertostartthisproject. It
pains me to see so many trees sacrificed
to make room for the solar panels but I
guessitisthecostofgoinggreen;ifthat
makes sense? Lest I be remiss, I would
like to thank you ahead of 9me for your
pa9ence when dropping-off and pickingup your students, especially with the
construc9ongoingonintheparkinglots.
The administra9ve team will be out in
force to help ensure the safety of
studentsbeforeandaKerschool.
In addi9on to the solar project we will
startouronemilliondollarrenova9onof
our welding facility and school farm
star9ng in May. This project will run
through January of 2017. In the end we
should have a state-of-the-art welding
facility and upgraded farm structures to
support our POM Wonderful Career
PathwayandFFAprogram.
Over winter break the library installed
new tech friendly sea9ng arrangements
with audio-visual displays. The project
required the reloca9on of library shelves
to make way for the student workspace.
The new sea9ng is more studentcenteredanduseful.
Anothernoteworthyprojectoncampusis
the cameras that have been installed
throughout the site. The cameras will
help provide an addi9onal level of
security and serve as a deterrent to
vandalism. The cameras especially help
monitorthepremisesovertheweekend,
during school vaca9ons and during the
summer.
In closing, I would like to invite you to

these worthwhile school improvements.

Por favor, disculpe nuestro polvo! Como
puede ver ya hemos comenzado la
instalación de paneles solares en el
estacionamientoyenpartesdelaspistasde
atle9smo. Por desgracia, el proyecto solar
tuvoquecomenzaryterminarantesdejunio
para tener derecho a los descuentos
financierosespeciales.Porlotanto,nopodía
esperar hasta el verano para iniciar este
proyecto. Me duele ver tantos árboles
sacrificados para hacer espacio para los
paneles solares, pero supongo que es el
costo de conver9rnos verdes; ¿Si eso 9ene
sen9do? No quiero ser negligente, me
gustaría darle las gracias de antemano por
su paciencia al traer y recoger sus
estudiantes con seguridad, especialmente
con la construcción que hay en los
estacionamientos. El equipo administra9vo
estará en vigor para ayudar y garan9zar la
seguridaddelosestudiantesantesydespués
delaescuela.
Ademásdelproyectosolarvamosaempezar
nuestra renovación de un millón de dólares
de nuestras instalaciones de soldadura y
granja de la escuela a par9r de mayo. Este
proyecto se ejecutará hasta enero de 2017.
Al final debemos tener una instalación de
soldadura técnica moderna y estructuras
agrícolas mejoradas para apoyar nuestro
POM camino de carrera maravillosa y
programadeACA.
Durante las vacaciones de invierno la
biblioteca a instalado nuevos asientos
amigablescontecnologíadepresentaciones
audiovisuales. El proyecto requiere la
reubicación de las estanterías de la
biblioteca para dar paso a el espacio de
trabajo del estudiante. Los nuevos asientos
están más centrados en el estudiante y son
mású9l.
Otro proyecto digno de mencionar son las
cámaras que se han instalado alrededor del
campo de la escuela. Las cámaras ayudarán
a proporcionar un nivel adicional de
seguridadyservircomoelementodisuasorio
para el vandalismo. Las cámaras ayudan a
vigilar especialmente el local durante el fin
desemana,durantelasvacacionesescolares
yduranteelverano.
Paraterminar,megustaríainvitarlosavisitar
nuestro campo durante Casa Abierta para
que vean que vale la pena estas mejoras
escolares . Realmente hacen una diferencia
posi9va en la prestación de una educación
