Welcome the Visiting Madonna
While we are encouraged to embrace Jesus’
cross, perhaps the next best thing we can do as
the faithful is to turn to the Blessed Mother for
guidance…”Blessed Mother, please help me.” As
human beings, we can’t do everything. But the
Blessed Mother can go to her Son Jesus and do
wonders.
The Knights of Columbus are offering intimate
prayer devotions in your own homes to all parishioners so that
every family may experience visitation for one week from our
Visiting Madonna. Families will begin to experience a sense of
peace, quiet and reflection while saying the Rosary as a family
with Our Lady. The family that prays together stays together.
If you are interested in participating in welcoming the Visiting
Madonna, please call Sam Konrad at (843) 399-7003 or email
him at [email protected].
This week, The Visiting Madonna will be presented to
Dave & Pat Garner at the 12:00 Noon Mass.

Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord
PRAYER AND WORSHIP
4th Annual
GOOD FRIDAY PRAYER VIGIL
March 25, 2016 **** 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Charleston Women's
Medical Center 1312 Ashley River Rd. (Hwy. 61 and Fuseler St.)
Christians of all denominations are invited to join in solemn prayer on Good Friday at Charleston Women's Medical Center where
approximately 2000 abortions up to 16 weeks are done each year. Local area pastors will lead in scripture and prayer throughout the
morning as we meditate on our redemption won by Christ. We will experience a powerful and moving commemoration of our Savior’s
death by attending this solemn Vigil. It will be a time of deep reflection and strengthening of conviction for all who attend.
We refrain on this solemn day of our Lord's death from using signs that would connote a picket or demonstration to the public. Instead,
a life--sized cross will be our only sign as we carry the cross of abortion, keeping the prayerful focus of the day on the cross of Christ.
Prayers will be offered for all victims of abortion ----the children lost, the mothers and fathers wounded, the communities blighted ----as
well as for those responsible for perpetuating this injustice, from "pro-abortion " elected officials to those working in the abortion
industry. Come for as long as you can, an hour or two, or the entire time. Plan now to set aside time on Good Friday to commemorate
Christ’s redeeming act and to pray for the innocent children who are killed daily by abortion.
Questions: call Cheryle at 843--696--0604 or Jim at 843--813-6078
Please do NOT PARK in Carriage Lane Office lot! Parking available along Fuseler St. or on Ashley River Rd.

Through the Good Friday Collection, you join with Catholics
around the world to stand in solidarity with the Church in the Holy
Land. When you contribute to the Pontifical Good Friday
Collection, you become an instrument of peace in a troubled
land.
In these challenging times in the Middle East, your support
means that our church will conduct parish ministry, provide
Catholic education, feed the hungry, build housing for Christians,
maintain shrines and operate refugee centers in the Holy Land.
Christians, along with all of the clergy and religious who serve in
the Holy Land, will deeply appreciate your prayers and financial
help! The political, religious and military challenges in the Holy
Land are more complex than ever. The wars, unrest and
instability have been especially hard on Christians.
Our parish will support Christians in the Holy Land through the
Good Friday Collection, as requested by Pope Francis. Like
Simon of Cyrene, you can help carry the cross under very difficult
circumstances in the Holy Land.
PLEASE BE GENEROUS!

DOMINGO DE RAMOS
SEMANA SANTA Y AÑO JUBILAR DE LA GRAN MISERICORDIA.
Queridos Hermanos:
542 Cypress Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
Padre Orlando.
