Lenten Fish Dinner
Please join the Knights of Columbus for their delicious
Fish Dinners beginning Friday, March 7th
from 5 - 7 PM in the Parish Hall.
Menu items to include: Baked Fish, Baked Potato, Vegetable, and Cole Slaw.
Prices are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 10 and under.
Families with children will be $25.00 maximum.
Desserts will be available for $1.00 each.

First Five Saturday’s Devotion
Join The First Five Saturday’s Devotion began on February 1,
with the next on March 1, April 5, May 3 and June 7. Devotion will
begin with attendance at the 8:30 a.m. Mass followed by recitation of
the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary, and then spending 15 minutes
meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary. By fulfilling First
Saturdays for 5 consecutive Months, Our Blessed Mother promises to
assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation.

Participate in Sacrament of Reconciliation each month, either on
that First Saturday, or up to 8 days before or after the First Saturday of
the Month. Confession made with the intention of making Reparation
to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
·
Attend Mass and receive Holy Communion.
·
Recite the Rosary.
·
Keep The Blessed Mother company for 15 minutes in church,
while meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of
making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for any offenses

ANNUAL TEPEYAC
PIANO CONCERT
On March 1st, 2014 at 6:30 PM, the Tepeyac
Mission is offering the Annual Piano Concert
by Yoko Sata Kothari.
This year’s program brings great selections
from ballet and opera famous pieces.
A $10 donation ticket will help the works of
charity of the Tepeyac Mission, directed by
Deacon Jaime Zapata.

PARISH SOCIAL MINISTRIES
Our food pantry is currently in need of
canned meats, pasta, macaroni and cheese.
Also this month, we are collecting personal
hygiene items: toothbrushes/toothpaste/
mouthwash/floss, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, soap
and body wash, shaving cream/razors. Laundry detergent is
also being collected. Thank you for your help as we assist
our community families in need.

Appeal Report
We are most grateful to those
who responded to the 2014
Diocesan Services Appeal. So far
$62,609 has been pledged from 178 families
getting us to 25% our goal of $250,000. This is a
wonderful example of your stewardship and your
willingness to reach out to others. If you have not had the
opportunity to respond, please make an effort to do so.

Barbarito and our diocese to provide the leadership,
vision, and assistance tour our people in need.

The Spring Flea Market for Charity sponsored by St.
Clare Council of Catholic Women will be held on
Saturday, March 8 in the parking lot from 8AM-noon.
The location is 821 Prosperity Farms Rd., North Palm
Beach. To check availability of $20 vendor slots and

GRIEF & LOSS
SUPPORT GROUP
St. Ignatius Cathedral has begun a grief
and loss support group with the next
meeting taking place on February 25, at
10 a.m. in the Parish Hall.
The purpose of the group is to offer
support to persons who are experiencing symptoms of grief due
to a recent loss. In general the group will be held weekly for 68 weeks. The group is open to men and women. The meetings
will be on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. -11a.m. in the Parish Hall.

El sacramento de la reconciliación (confesión)
puede ser recibido en el horario normal de la parroquia

SACRAMENTOS
• La preparación a los sacramentos es seria y esperamos que
ustedes también la tomen con seriedad y entusiasmo.
Aprender a vivir la fe cristiana no se hace en unos pocos
meses. Recuerden que no nos preparamos sólo para recibir un
sacramento, sino para vivir de acuerdo al ejemplo de Jesús.
Los sacramentos nos ayudan, fortalecen y guían en el camino
de la vida cristiana.
• Para recibir los sacramentos del bautismo, eucaristía,
confirmación tiene que estar inscrito como miembro de la
parroquia al menos tres meses antes.
• La diócesis de Palm Beach pide 2 años de preparación para
recibir la primera comunión y también para la confirmación.
• Para el sacramento del matrimonio además han de venir con
6 meses de anticipación a la fecha prevista.
• Vocaciones: Si un joven o señorita está interesado en entrar
al seminario o un convento para servir a Jesús en la vida
religiosa o consagrada por favor hable con el sacerdote,
el diácono Jaime o diácono Miguel. Y no se olviden todos de
rezar por el aumento de vocaciones sacerdotales y religiosas.

• Exposición del Santísimo Sacramento todos los viernes de 9
