THE KEY TO YOUR SPIRITUAL VICTORY WITH THE MASTERS OF FREEDOM: THE GODDESS OF LIBERTY, THE GODDESS OF FREEDOM, SAINT GERMAIN, GODFRE AND OTHERS 2016 SUMMER EVENTS INFORMATION GUIDE Welcome! Dear Friends of Light and Seekers of Truth, Our summer conference this year is dedicated to defending and upholding the flame of freedom for the earth. This is relevant and timely as we see the sacred freedoms threatened almost everywhere and people denied their God-given right to live in a free society and pursue individual soul freedom. Throughout the conference we will explore the inner meaning of freedom, its divine origins, the social-political conditions in which we live, and together focus our energies on turning around the downward spiral of anti-freedom for the benefit of planet earth and her people. The great gift of freedom, the violet flame, will be a large part of our prayer sessions. And you will learn about our exciting Violet-Flame Challenge! If you are new to the teachings of the ascended masters, you will find the Essentials of the Teachings Program very helpful in introducing the teachings and assisting you to begin walking the spiritual path taught by the masters. So, please join us! Make your plans now to come to the pristine mountains of Montana for our largest event of the year. This is truly a holy place, endowed with great beauty and teeming with wildlife. It is the place prepared for your soul to meet your Real Self and friends of light from around the world. This sacred land, called the Inner Retreat, is where the ascended masters have delivered timeless and priceless teachings through their messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet. Together, you and your family will share spiritual enrichment, enjoying a variety of devotional and community activities. Children and teens will share in fun, age-specific activities as well! And, while you’re here, consider visiting nearby Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Whether you are a longtime student or new to the teachings of the masters, we hope you will join us for this very special experience and celebration at Freedom 2016 at the Inner Retreat. We truly believe you will experience a new understanding and renewed commitment to defend freedom. Rev. David Drye Spiritual Director 2 Rev. Valerie McBride President Here is what the Goddess of Freedom said about her mission: I remember the day when the messenger discovered me in my statue that is above the nation’s Capitol. And I remember her pondering on my heart and her recognition of myself as more than a mere statue but, indeed, as the cosmic embodiment of Cosmic Freedom to all systems of worlds. And I am grateful that the thoughtform of my Presence did indeed find its way to that Capitol dome.... Beloved ones, I have been under the order of the Solar Logoi in higher octaves beyond higher octaves—higher than you might realize. And only from time to time have I been allowed to truly roll up my sleeves and get involved with the sons and daughters of freedom on planet earth.... I have much to tell you.... I AM the Goddess of Freedom. My hour has come. Your hour has come. We are teammates! Let us go forward and play to win! —The Goddess of Freedom, July 4, 1992 The Goddess of Freedom released only two dictations through our messengers and we will be replaying both of these during this conference. 3 2016 Summer Events ACT EARLY AND SAVE! This ring was charged by Archangel Zadkiel for the purpose of transmitting his vibration to the amethysts of Keepers of the Flame®. HEART CHAKRA and THIRD-EYE BLESSINGS The heart chakra blessing is for opening your heart, clearing your heart, and for an increment of light to enter your heart. The blessing takes place using Elizabeth Clare Prophet’s ruby crystal. The third-eye blessing is for the sealing of the servants of God in their forehead, a blessing which is described in chapter 7 of the Book of Revelation, where an angel requests that God’s servants be sealed. This blessing is sponsored by Saint Germain. It gives protection and the vision of one’s divine plan and seals the soul in times of great change. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. In our ritual, we receive newborns and present them to the mighty I AM Presence at the altar in King Arthur’s Court. Baptism The first sacrament in Church Universal and Triumphant® is a sacred step on the spiritual path and a cleansing of the soul. In baptism we dedicate ourselves to the fulfillment of the will of God—the divine blueprint held in God’s heart for each life. For this reason, only hikes authorized by The Summit Lighthouse® will be allowed in the back country of the Inner Retreat from June 16 through July 18. You can learn more about hiking at the Information Tent, where you can also register for the July 5 hike. MAITREYA MOUNTAIN GUIDED HIKE Tuesday, July 5 On July 5, the day after the conference, Maitreya Mountain is reserved for special guided hikes. If you plan to join the hike, please register at the Information Tent by July 4 and pay the $5 fee to cover expenses. Because of the rigors of the backcountry, high altitude, weather and wildlife (such as bears and mountain lions), The Summit Lighthouse® and its authorized hiking guides have the latitude to determine whether a participant is fit for the pilgrimage to Maitreya Mountain or any other backcountry hike on the property. The hike is 5 miles (8km) roundtrip with 1,900' (600m) elevation gain and will take 4–5 hours. If you plan to hike, please bring the following required gear: • a rain jacket with hood • a backpack to carry your items in • at least one quart of drinking water (if weather is hot you may need more) • synthetic or wool sweater or jacket • broken-in hiking shoes or boots • sunscreen or protective hat/clothing • insect repellant • a sandwich or bag lunch (available to buy in cafeteria in the morning) 14 DRESS CODE In honor of ascended masters, angels and beings of light, we embrace a dress code that is casual though neat, modest and clean for all events and locations affiliated with The Summit Lighthouse®. Conferees are asked to follow the dress code when at the Inner Retreat. Please refrain from wearing muscle shirts, spaghetti straps or tank tops, short shorts, or anything tight-fitting or low-cut, with the exception that modest shorts and swimwear may be worn for outdoor recreation. You may want to bring at least one dressy outfit for special events such as the Fourth of July waltz. We also ask that conferees, out of respect for others who may have chemical sensitivities, only lightly use essential oils, perfumes and other products with fragrances. HEALTH NOTICE To make certain that everyone who attends events at the Inner Retreat has a safe and enjoyable stay, we ask that you carefully consider the following before you make plans to come: (1) In the event that you or a member of your family needs medical assistance while attending the summer events, please be aware that nursing or medical care is not available at the Inner Retreat. The nearest hospital, in Livingston, Montana, is an hour’s drive from the event site. The closest medical facility (with limited hours) is a 30-minute drive to Mammoth, Wyoming, in Yellowstone National Park. Rural ambulance service is available from Gardiner and Mammoth, and response times can be 30 minutes or longer. (2) The conference site is located at an altitude of 5,200 feet (1,600 meters). Some people who live near sea level can experience shortness of breath at this altitude. Conferees often walk outside in hot, cold, windy, and/or rainy conditions over somewhat rugged terrain. (3) We strongly recommend that individuals affected by altitude or with other chronic health conditions consult a physician before attending our programs. We reserve the right to require individuals challenged by health conditions and/or advanced age to provide in advance of registration a signed physician approval to attend and/or be accompanied by a personal caretaker. PETS Because of the large number of people and especially children at the events, pets are not allowed. 15 Summit University Summer Seminar ® TEACHINGS OF THE ASCENDED MASTERS® THE PATH OF THE EASTERN ADEPT Discover the Science of the Spirit with El Morya and Kuthumi WEDNESDAY, JULY 6 – SUNDAY, JULY 10 In 1875, a group of mysterious beings, secluded in the hidden recesses of the Himalayas, began an experiment of momentous impact: to reveal the existence of the Masters of Wisdom and their teachings to the world. They started a revolution in spirituality that reverberates around the world to this day. El Morya and Kuthumi were the best-known spokesmen for the Great White Brotherhood at that time. From their lives and teachings in the late nineteenth century— just before they ascended—we can glean tremendous insights about the path of adeptship and how they trained their chelas. But the story of the adepts does not stop there. They continue to teach us today, and they urge us to follow in their footsteps and become adepts ourselves—because the world needs it! So what does it take, and where do we start? Attend this seminar and find out! TOPICS INCLUDE: • The spiritual path seen through the eyes of the Eastern adepts El Morya and Kuthumi • Methods and stages of initiation, taken from Elizabeth Clare Prophet’s “Darshan with the Messenger” series • Teachings by Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet on The Mahatma Letters, the Bhagavad Gita, mindfulness and the guru-chela relationship • Dictations on adeptship by Saint Germain, El Morya, Mother Mary, Gautama Buddha and Lord Maitreya • Step-by-step meditation and visualization training • An exploration of critical pitfalls on the path • A group project on world service We are ready to transfer to you blessings and initiations and an impetus for greater life within your temple. —Saint Germain Recommended Textbooks • The Mahatma Letters to A. P. Sinnett, transcribed and compiled by A. Trevor Barker (Theosophical University Press) • 16 How to Know God: The Yoga Aphorisms of Patanjali, translated and with commentary by Swami Prabhavananda and Christopher Isherwood (Vedanta Press) ATTENDANCE This Summit University® seminar is open to Keepers of the Flame® as well as new students. Technology / Communication Limitations: Due to the Royal Teton Ranch’s location in rural Montana, there are significant limitations with communication options. The only cell phone service available is Verizon, and it is spotty —no other cell phone providers operate in the area. Landline phones are available and calling cards can be purchased in the bookstore. Internet bandwidth and WiFi access are limited. The bandwidth does not allow video streaming or other resource-intensive use. We apologize for these constraints. They are a result of our beautiful, sacred location in a wilderness area. PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to refuse admittance or to dismiss anyone from participation in event programs and/or the Inner Retreat property.
