TO THE POLISHING
Lijado micro-fino en seco: Sin importar el color del automóvil, si
desea eliminar imperfecciones o texturas tales como “cáscara de
naranja”, basuras atrapadas, “puntas de alfiler”, u otro tipo de
defecto, NORTON le ofrece los Discos DRY ICE Q260 GRANO
P1500 y NORTON ICE 3000.
Dry micro-fine sanding: Regardless the vehicle color, if you wish to
eliminate imperfections or textures such as "orange peel", caught
dirt, "pin tip", or any other imperfection, NORTON offers the DRY ICE
Q260 P1500 Grain and NORTON ICE3000 discs.
B- LIJADO MICRO-FINO EN HÚMEDO
B - WET MICRO-FINE SANDING
Si prefiere trabajar de modo manual, puede emplear las hojas de lija
de agua JET T401 con granos entre 1000 y 2500. Para tener un
mejor acabado se recomienda usar el taco lijador.
If you prefer to work manually, you can use JET T401 water
sandpaper with grains between 1000 and 2500. For having a
better finishing, it is recommended to use the sanding block.
TIP
Todos los acabados se pueden iniciar
con lija microfina en hojas grano 1200 JET 401
y terminar con lija microfina grano 1500 en disco DRY ICE.
O iniciar con disco DRY ICE en 1500 y terminar con el NORTON ICE 3000.
TIP: All finishes can be started with a micro-fine sandpaper of grain
1200 JET 401 and finished with a micro-fine sandpaper grain 1500 in
DRY-ICE disc. They also can start with DRY-ICE disc in 1500 and finish
with the NORTON ICE 3000.

C - 3 STEP SANDING SYSTEM
El sistema Liquid Ice Extra Cut es el mejor sistema de pulido

The Liquid Ice Extra Cut system is the the best professional sanding
system gathered in only one product. With the Liquid Ice Extra Cut
you can polish, remove, and obtain the final brightening in 3 simple
steps:

Se recomienda humedecer un poco el pomo con agua al iniciar el
abrillantado y cuando se sienta reseca, esto con el fin de facilitar el
manejo y ahorrar producto.
TIP: It is recommended to wet the product a little before starting the
polishing and whenever it feels too dry; this in order to facilitate the
handling and save some product.
PASO 1
STEP 1
Pulido con Pomo de Lana SUPER CORTE:
Con este primer paso se elimina el matizado y exceso de
ralla, aplicando una cantidad suficiente de pulimento Liquid
Ice extra CUT y se utiliza una pulidora con velocidades entre
1000 y 1200 rpm, se sugiere pulir áreas entre 45 y 50
cm2.
Polishing with SUPER-CUT wool knob:
With this first step the graduated colors and excess
scratching are eliminated, applying sufficient Liquid Ice
Extra Cut and a polisher with speeds between 1000 and
1200 rpm is used; it is suggested to polish areas between
45 and 50 cm2.

Pomo de esponja azul para abrillantado corte mediano:
El segundo paso es para resaltar el brillo y eliminar las rallas
restantes en el acabado, se aplica una cantidad moderada
de pulimento Liquid Ice extra cut y se procede a el
abrillantado esto con la pulidora a velocidad recomendada
máxima de 1400 rpm. Antes de accionar la pulidora
unte
el material cubriendo una superficie de 45-50 cm2 con el
pomo.
Blue-sponged knob for mild-cut polishing:
The second step is for heightening the brightness and
eliminate the scratches remaining from finishing; a
moderate amount of Liquid Ice Extra Cut is applied and then
it is polished; this with a polisher at a recommended
maximum speed of 1400 rpm. Before starting the2 polisher,
spread the material covering about 45 to 50 cm with the
knob.

Pomo de esponja Blanca para acabado:
El tercer paso es para asegurar un acabado finísimo,
eliminando si se requiere alguna marca circular o tipo
telaraña, se aplica una cantidad moderada de pulimento
Liquid Ice Extra Cut y se procede al acabado esto con la
pulidora a velocidad recomendada máxima de 1400
RPM. Antes de accionar la pulidora unte el material
cubriendo una superficie de 45-50 cm2 con el pomo

The third step is for ensuring the finest finish, eliminating, if
required, any circular or web type mark; a moderate
amount of Liquid Ice Extra Cut is applied and then it is to be
polished with a polisher at a recommended maximum
speed of 1400 rpm. Before starting the
polisher, spread
the material covering about 45 to 50 cm2 with the knob.

FINAL DETAILING
Rocío para limpiar o detallar LIQUID ICE CLEAN UP:
Este producto es muy útil para resaltar el acabado
final y las áreas circundantes al pulido. El liquido
atomizador elimina también el exceso de
salpicaduras de pulimento en áreas cercanas a la
superficie pulida (en Gomas, manijas, cristales,
acrílicos etc.).
Spray for cleaning or detailing LIDQUID ICE CLEAN UP:
This product is very useful for heightening the final finishing
and the areas surrounding the polishing. The atomizer also
eliminates excess from polishing splash in areas near the
polished surface.

El producto se aplica atomizándolo en el área pulida y
enseguida se limpia con la Toalla de microfibra
Norton. Obtendrá así mayor brillo, excelente tersura y
protección del mismo.
The product is applied by spraying on the polished area and
immediately cleaning with a Norton micro-fiber towel. Doing
so you will obtain greater brightness, excellent smoothness,
and protection.
