Spring brings with it two of the most important celebrations in the world,
each with a different character: Holy Week and the Feria de Abril. +Info
Holy Week
Hope of Triana along the bridge and Reyes
Catolicos Street at 4:00 a.m. An alternative is
the Brotherhood of Silence on Francos Street
and Plaza del Salvador. Holy Week is an
extraordinary and surprising experience.
Holy Week in Seville is both: a demonstration
of religious fervor and a tourist and
sociocultural show, which brings together
some splendid examples of Seville’s religious
sculpture and crafts. All of this is wrapped in
the magic of Seville with its scent of orange
blossoms and incense in early Spring.
The parade of many guilds in a procession
lasting from the morning of Holy Thursday
until Good Friday morning is known as
La Madrugá. During this time, the most
charismatic images take to the streets of
Seville and these are certainly very exciting
moments. It is impressive to see the
procession of the Brotherhood of the Great
Power, in the Plaza de San Lorenzo, from
1.00 a.m. or the Brotherhood of the Macarena
on Resolana and Feria Street at 2:00 a.m.

In short order, Seville changes its
atmosphere of mysticism for one of an
explosion of color and joy focused on the

calendar is the Spanish Grand Prix. It is
one of the most anticipated and massively

takes place on the legendary Jerez circuit, in
Cadiz. It is a unique weekend, in which you

The Gran Premio de Catalunya, the Gran
Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana and the
Gran Premio de Aragon are the other three
essential appointments with the World Cup
in Spain. The first is held at the Circuit de
Catalunya in Montmelo, about 30 kilometers
from Barcelona. The second Grand Prix is the
race that closes the World Championship at
the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Cheste, Valencia.
And last is the Gran Premio de Aragon which
is held in Alcaniz (Aragon) and has been part
of the international circuit since 2010.

River hosts a competition of thousands of
