CARTA DE INTENCIÓN

DE AMÉRICA.
La Universidad Tecnológica de la Zona Metropolitana de Guadalaiara, del Estado de
Jalisco, de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y el Oklahoma City Cornmunity College, del
Estado de Oklahoma, de los Estados Unidos de América, en adelante denominadas "Las
Partes";
ANIMADAS por el deseo de fortalecer los vínculos de amistad que unen a los pueblos y
gobiernos de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y los Estados Unidos de América;
CONSIDERANDO
que el desarrollo y promoción de actividades educativas debe llevarse
a cabo dentro del contexto de la legislación nacional de "Las Partes";
TOMANDO
en consideración las disposiciones y el deseo por fortalecer los vinculos de
entendimiento, amistad y cooperación entre ambos países, en el marco del Memoeando de
Entendimiento
sobre Educación entre los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y los Estados
Unidos de América, del 8 de agosto de 1990;
Manifiestan su INTENCIÓN
PRIMERA:
de:
Colaborar conjuntamente para el desarrollo y promoción de actividades
educativas.
SEGUNDA:
Llevar a cabo actividades de cooperación que tengan por objeto fomentar el
desarrollo y la promoción de acciones pedagógicas de interés para ambas Partes.
TERCERA: Considerar futuras oportunidades para el intercambio profesores, programas
de capacitación y visitas recíprocas.
CUARTA: Ofrecer oportunidades para la comunicación cooperativa concerniente a las
actividades de sus estudiantes.
QUINTA:
Compartir materiales, técnicas y metodologías para la enseñanza, así como
materiales especiales para promover la comunicación y la cooperación.
SEXTA: Establecer un sistema a distancia a través de Internet para ser utilizado como
herramienta para la ejecución de las actividades de cooperación a ser convenidas.
SÉPTIMA: Apoyar la investigación académica y proyectos de estudio especializados
relacionados con la educación.
OCTAVA: Para el logro de los objetivos mencionados en esta Carta de Intención, "Las
Partes" se reunirán en un plazo no mayor a cuatro meses, a fin de determmar los elementos
y contenidos del Acuerdo de Cooperación respectivo.
Firmado en el municipio de TIajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, el diecisiete de septiembre de
dos mil diez, en dos ejemplares originales, en idioma español e inglés, siendo ambos textos
igualmente auténticos.

The Universidad Tecnológica de la Zona Metropolitana de Guadalajara of the State of
Jalisco ofthe United Mexican States and the Oklahoma City Community College, ofthe
State of Oklahoma, of tbe United States of América, hereinafter referred to as "The
Parties",
by the desire of strengtbening the friendship ties that join the peoples
and governments ofthe United Mexican States and the United States of America.

that the development and promotion of educational activities must be
carried out within a context ofnationallegislation for both "The Parties";
CONSIDERING

Declare their WILLING of:
FIRST:
Collaborate jointly for the development and promotion of educational
activities.
SECOND: Set cooperation activities that foster the development and promotion of
pedagogica1 actions of mutual interest for both Parties.
THIRD: Consider future opportunities for teacher' s exchanges, training programs and
reciprocal visits.
FOURTH; Offer opportunities for cooperative communicarion regarding their srudenr's
activities.
FIFTH: Share materials, techniques and teaching methodologies, as well as special
materials to promote communication and cooperation.
SIXTH: Establish a system remotely via the internet to be used as a tool to implement
cooperation activities to be agreed upon The Parties.
