Este proyecto de dimensiones transnacionales abarca
una amplia área geográfica europea, surgiendo como
continuación al Loci Iacobi con la pretensión de
consolidar el Camino de Santiago como como primer
Itinerario Cultural Europeo de alto valor histórico por
medio del intercambio de experiencias de investigación, promoción y dinamización turística y cultural de
los territorios socios del proyecto (Lee Puy, Junta de
Galicia, Namur, Villa Pouca de Aguiar, Municipalidad
de Asis, Viajes Viloria y Le Puy Hotels).
Santiago y todos sus servicios turísticos y equipamientos para hacer posible su comercialización como un
producto turístico temático coherente y altamente
competitivo a nivel europeo.
Este proyecto también pretende contribuir de manera
notable a una mayor implicación de las Pymes y a
la sostenibilidad de las vías del Camino de Santiago
mediante el establecimiento de criterios de calidad y
selección para todos los socios.

y coordinación de las actividades de los socios
mediante la organización de comités de pilotaje así
como la realización de todas las acciones operativas necesarias para asegurar el éxito del proyecto.

great European geographic area. It appears as continuation of the Loci Iacobi in order to consolidate
the St. James Way as the most important European
Cultural itinerary of high historical value, through the
experiences exchange, promotion and touristic and
cultural dynamization of the territories involved on the

El Camino de Santiago está reconocido en la actualidad como Itinerario Cultural Europeo por el Instituto
Europeo de Itinerarios Culturales y clasificado como
Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO así pues, el proyecto Loci Iacobi 2 lo que pretende
es desarrollar las diversas rutas que componen los
Caminos de Santiago como producto turístico y consolidarlas como Itinerario Cultural Europeo a través de
la creación y promoción de nuevos contenidos turísticos mediante la introducción de las nuevas tecnologías
de la información y comunicación, destinados a varios
segmentos de mercado: peregrinos tradicionales,
turismo religioso, cicloturistas y turismo de naturaleza
así como diversos segmentos sociales: personas con
diferentes discapacidades, jubilados y gente joven.
The St. Jams way is recognized nowadays as cultural
European itinerary by the European Insititute of
Cultural Itineraries and classified as Human Heritage
by the UNESCO. The Loci Iacobi 2 project object is to
develop the different routes that form the St. James
ways as a touristic product and consolidate them
through the creation and promotion of new contents
and ways of communication reaching to the different
publics (traditional pilgrims, religious tourism, cyclists
and nature tourism) and the different population
segments (handicapped, young and old people).

Las actividades que desarrolla este proyecto son:
• Develop and implementation of one electronic
platform to the St. James Way as a tool of
distribution and commercialization of the routes
as a thematic touristic product.
• Production and edition of the “Touristic pilgrimage guides”. These are a set of brochures
whose aim would be offer information to the
tourists decided to do one of the different routes
of the St. James way, also available on the web
site for their download.
• Pilot Project: Touristic package St. James Way for
the creation, commercialization and distribution
of new touristic products about the pilgrimage
routes through the St. James Way as one added
value touristic product.
One of the main goals of the Loci Iacobi 2 is the
startup of a unique European Brand that identifies
all the routes of the St. James way, its services and
touristic equipment in order to make possible its
commercialization as a touristic product, coherent and
highly competitive in Europe.
This project also aims to contribute significantly to a
greater involvement of SMEs and the sustainability
of the St. James Way routes by the establishment of
quality criteria and selection for all partners.

La ruta desde Roncesvalles, lugar de paso donde se concentra historia y leyenda y un gran paraje forestal ubicado
en el Pirineo navarro, comienza a los pies de los Pirineos y recorre el mítico “Camino Francés” pasando por
Pamplona, Estella, Logroño, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, Burgos, León, Astorga, Ponferrada y todo el Camino
por Galicia. Se trata del más largo de todos con 14 etapas, 296 km, en 16 días y 15 noches.
La experiencia para el que cuente con el suficiente tiempo y forma física para cubrir este gran reto será inolvidable, con una gran visión del patrimonio cultural y monumental que se ha conservado en el Camino desde la
profunda edad media.
The route from Roncesvalles, crossing point where history and legend converge, and an amazing forested
area located on the Navarre Pyrenees. it begins close to the Pyrenees and goes through the mythical “French
Way”, passing by Pamplona, Estella, Logroño, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, Burgos, León, Astorga, Ponferrada
and the whole way inside the Galician territory. It is the longest way with 14 stages, 296 km in 16 days and 15

la primera ciudad del Camino Francés, donde podrás
descubrir los templos y calles medievales de la ciudad,
que destaca por la simbología jacobea. El Camino de

The program from Burgos, that has conserved the historic pilgrimage way, would continue by León, Astorga, Ponferrada and the whole way inside Galician territory. This city has became a compulsory crossing point for millions
of pilgrims motivated for its strategic location. From this point to Santiago de Compostela, the pilgrim would walk
along 509,10 km, 9 stages in 11 days and 10 nights. Burgos is a compendium of art, monuments and gastronomy
and it is one of the selected points inside the program to carry out a big tasting of the local gastronomy.

For thousands of years, Namur has been a crossing paths point. This is its great feature, which has converted
its streets on direct witnesses of two of the St. James Way routes. The French Way offers the opportunity
of experiment the origins of this city with its three stages, from the Ciudadela, following the shells path that
keeps alive the pilgrimage spirit.
This touristic package which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner offers you the discovering of a different Way
for four days and three nights, following the natural border that is the Mosa River. This exciting trip begins on
the old Namur and goes over Dinant, Heer sur Meuse, Doische and finally Nismes.

Uno de ellos abarca 6 etapas, con 116 Km, desde Peso
de Régoa hasta Verín, donde se podría reenganchar
con la Vía de la Plata, ruta jacobea del sur, completando el Camino de Santiago con el Bono Iacobus. Este
paquete de la ruta portuguesa interior o central se
inicia en Peso de Régoa y pasa por Villa Real, Vilarinho da Samarda, Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Vidago, Chaves
hasta llegar a Verín.
Los peregrinos tendrán incluidas seis noches de alojamiento, desayunos y cenas, además del traslado de los
participantes desde el punto de finalización de cada
etapa hasta a la casa rural y viceversa al día siguiente.

from Peso da Regua to Verín where the pilgrim has
the possibility to complete the way to Santiago
following the southeast way with the Bono Iacobus.
This package of the Portuguese route has as crossing
pointe Vila Real, Vilarinho de Samarda, Vila Pouca de
Aguiar, Vidago and Chaves before reaching Verín.

El recorrido de este paquete turístico arranca en Roma, donde disfrutaremos de las vistas panorámicas de la
ciudad. Después de tres días y innumerables visitas por la Ciudad Eterna, el programa continuará en Asís para
conocer la Basílica de San Francisco, Santa Chiara o la ciudad de Perugia, entre otros increíbles lugares. La meta
final será Santiago de Compostela, en donde tendremos la oportunidad de hacer la última etapa del Camino y
visitar las “Vilas Mariñeiras” de Galicia.
With this program you will discover and feel the St. James Way as San Francisco de Asis did. In order to commemorate the eight centenaries since this important figure reach Compostela, we pay a particular tribute with
this offer of a 9 days/8 nights trip.
The itinerary begins in Rome, where you may enjoy of the panoramic views of the city. After three days and
several visits on the Eternal City the program continues in Asis. Among other incredible places the visits in Asis
include The San Francisco Basilica, Santa Chiara and Perugia. The final point of our trip is Santiago de Compostela where we will make the last stage of The Way and visit the “Vilas Mariñeiras” (fishing regions) of Galicia.

centro histórico de Perugia. Paseo en el Corso Vanucci,
Palacio Priori y la Galeria nacional de Umbria. Llegada
a la plaza de Noviembre IV y visita a la catedral de
Perugia. Almuerzo en un restaurante típico y visita
guiada al Museo Catedralicio del San Lorenzo. Regreso
a Asis para la cena y el alojamiento.

Umbria national gallery. Arrival at November IV square
and visit to the Perugian Cathedral. Lunch on a typical
restaurant and guided visit to the Saint Lorenzo’s
Cathedral Museum. Return to Assisi for dinner and
accommodation.
Día 6 / Day 6: Desayuno en el hotel. Traslado al
aeropuerto de Roma, vuelo hacia O Porto. Llegada a O
Porto y traslado a Santiago de Compostela en autobús.

do Gozo en autobús para llevar a cabo una peregrinación simbólica hasta la Catedral. Asistencia a las misa
del peregrino a las 12:00 h. y almuerzo en un restaurante del casco histórico. Por la tarde, visita guiada a la
Catedral y sus tejados. Tiempo libre para disfrutar de
la ciudad. Cena y alojamiento en hotel 4****.

Gozo” by bus to carry out a symbolic pilgrimage till
the Cathedral. Attendance to the pilgrims mass at
12:00 h and lunch in a restaurant of the old town. In

roofs. Spare time to enjoy the city. Dinner and accommodation in a centric 4**** hotel.
Día 8 / Day 8: Desayuno en el hotel. Partida para realizar la excursión guiada “Costa da Morte – Villas Marineras”, con paradas en Muros, Fisterra y Muxía. Antes
de la llegada a Muros se hará una parada en el mirador
de Paxareiras desde donde hay una vista privilegiada
de toda la costa. Nuestra siguiente parada será la
Cascada de Ezaro, única en Europa en desembocar
directamente en el mar, hecho que la convierte en una
parada obligatoria por su peculiaridad. La próxima
parada en nuestro camino será Finisterre, antiguo fin
del mundo, desde donde emplearemos su faro como
instrumento para explicar algunas de las aventuras
que los barcos sufrían al navegar en su peligrosa costa.
El almuerzo será en un restaurante de Finisterre. Por
la tarde llegaremos a nuestra última parada, Muxía,
conocida como el punto cero de la tragedia del Prestige, visitaremos el santuario de “Virxe da barca”.

make an stop in “Paxareiras” a privileged view point
to see the whole coast. Our next stop will be “Ezaro”
whose waterfall is the only one in Europe that flows
directly on the sea, fact that makes this stop obligatory for its particularity. The next stop in our way is
in Fisterra, the ancient end of the world, where the
lighthouse is employed to explain some of the adventures that suffer the boats that used to pass in front of
the dangerous coast. The Lunch will be in a Finisterre
restaurant. In the afternoon we will reach our last stop
in Muxia, known as the Ground Zero of the Prestige
tragedy, there is found the Virxe da barca sanctuary.
