Dear McKinley Families,
February at McKinley is all about family. At McKinley
School, we are a family. We will continue to grow closer as a
community with increased parent involvement and presence on
campus.
On Friday, February 5th please plan on joining us for
McKinley’s We are Family Dance and Auction. There will be many
wonderful items to bid on, delicious food and great music.
Remember that funds raised from this event directly support our
students’ art, music and science programs.
During the week of February 8th, family members are invited
to come to school during our Have Lunch with Your Child week. If
you don’t have time to pick up a lunch, consider ordering a delicious
lunch from Quiznos and support our 4th graders at the same time.
You can find more information in our Wednesday folder.
Please refer to our calendar for a schedule of Family
Forums during the month of February. These are also great
opportunities to build a classroom family community.
Report Cards will go home on Friday, February 19th. If you
have questions about your child’s report card, you may schedule a
conference with your child’s teacher.
Warmly,
Irene Gonzalez
