It’s Dark in the
Belly of a Whale
Blessed Trinity Shrine Retreat, Ft. Mitchell,
Alabama is offering a weekend retreat entitled
“It’s Dark in the Belly of a Whale” on
November 6 - 8, 2015. This retreat will focus on
five ways that the Jonah story mirrors our own
journey with God. There are times when we all
struggle to do what we know God is asking us to
do. Even with our attempts to block His voice and
run from Him, God pursues us, and sometimes allows us some dark times in order to lead us into His
perfect will for our lives. In our struggled to be
faithful, He never gives up on us. His overwhelming message is how dear we are to God.
The presenter, Anne Trufant, weaves music, humor
and common life experiences together to bring faith
to life.
The retreat begins with registration at 7:00pm
(Eastern Time) on Friday November 6, 2015 and
concludes with dinner at noon on Sunday
November 8th.
For Registration information, call 334-855-4474.

Some families have a huge
challenge of trying to attend Mass
with their special child because of
their unique needs. Son Treasure was established
three years ago to offer respite for family members
to attend the 9am Sunday Mass, while we work
with their special child in a secure, nurturing and
learning environment. Some of our students live
with autism and some with congenital or neurological diagnoses. Utilizing many visual and adaptive
techniques, our dedicated team of volunteers work
side-by-side with each student, to learn about God
and our Catholic faith and to prepare them for the
sacraments. Our goal is to eventually reunite each
child with their family in the Mass setting. If you
know someone in need of this ministry, or would
like more information, please contact:
Holly Hoskamer (850)936-5722 or our Parish
office @ 939-3020.

Jubileo de la Misericordia
Misericordiosos como el Padre
Nos dice el Santo Padre Francisco:
"He decidido convocar un Jubileo
extraordinario que tenga en el centro la
misericordia de Dios. Será un Año santo de la
misericordia.
