I” (mm ) Section property that quantifies its amount of mass (area) in relation to its gravity center. Stress and deflection obtained under a certain load applied to a panel are directly influenced by its moment of inertia (the greater the inertia, the less stress and deflection under the same load). 3.2 Módulo elástico “E” (N/mm2) También conocido como Módulo de Young, es una constante propia de materiales elásticos que relaciona la fuerza aplicada con la deformación o el desplazamiento obtenido. 3.2 Modulus of elasticity “E” (N/mm2) Also known as Young Modulus, it is a typical constant of elastic materials that relates the force applied to the deflection or displacement obtained. The higher the modulus of elasticity the lower deflection for a given load. A mayor rigidez, menor flecha. 3.3 Rigidity “EI” (KNcm2) Rigidity is calculated multiplying the moment of inertia by elastic modulus, under given load and support configurations. The higher the rigidity, the lower deflection obtained. 3.4 Elasticity limit “Rp0,2 ” (N/mm2) Maximum stress an elastic material can stand so it can recover from obtained deflection up to 99.8% once the applied force is removed. The higher the limit, the more difficult to cause permanent deformation of the panel. 4 3.5 Ultimate tensile strength “Rm ” (N/mm ) Material breakage stress. Once the yield strength is exceeded, the material continues deforming without breaking, but undergoes plastic deformation (non-recoverable deformation). The material breaks when it reaches its ultimate tensile strength. 2 3.6 Elongation “A” (%) Length increase of an element (expressed in percentage) since it exceeds the elasticity limit until the breakage appears. ► TABLA DE PROPIEDADES DEL PANEL COMPOSITE larson ► larson COMPOSITE PANEL PROPERTIES ® ® I (mm4/m) larson PE larson wood PE larson specials PE E (N/mm2) EI ( kNcm2/m) Rm (N/mm2) Rp0,2 (N/mm2) A (%) ® ® ® larson FR larson wood FR larson specials FR ® ® ® 2637 DIN 53293 3070 DIN 53293 larson metals FR DIN 53293 larson metals PE DIN 53293 larson metals FR DIN 53293 larson metals PE DIN 53293 larson metals FR DIN 53293 larson metals PE DIN 53293 ® 2D / Stainless Steel Wf30 ® Copper ® Copper ® Brass ® Brass ® Zinc 1440 1820 1952 2120 2102 1098 17542 1846 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 DIN 53293 15707 2150 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 DIN 53293 27897 2891 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 DIN 53293 17856 2662 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 DIN 53293 9304 2283 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 DIN 53293 15764 2220 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 DIN 53293 16137 2207 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 DIN 53293 12700 900 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 DIN 53293 5 42,66 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 43,26 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 100,74 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 50,81 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 38,78 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 70,73 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 63,23 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 32,47 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 31,38 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 30,69 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 65,95 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 36,25 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 30,99 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 41,21 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 41,88 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 21,02 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 18,95 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 5,62 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 42,25 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 38,82 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 4,52 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 41,22 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 29,76 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 15,48 UNE EN ISO 527-1/2 Documentación Técnica 4. Manufacturing dimensions: ►Minimum bending width: 150mm (the same as the caps width). Distance between the caps will be the same as the thickness of the panel, so that separation is where the edges will move during the curving process. ►Curving maximum width: 4m. (The limit of the pyramid roller). ►Maximum cassette route and return folds: 20mm ® ® ® ® ® ® ® ® ® NOTES: a) It is not recommended to curve cassettes with edges greater than 20mm as they could become twisted. NOTAS: a) En el curvado con canto de bandeja >20mm, ésta puede llegar a deformarse, no recomendándose su realización. b) To carry out the curving process, it is required to place a 2mm thick aluminium sheet between the panel and cap areas in order to avoid marking the teflon caps. En cualquier caso, en este tipo de curvado, la pestaña no queda perfectamente plana, apreciándose ondulaciones en la misma. c) If the desired radius is greater than 1000mm, curving can be performed flat, bending the edges afterwards. For this reason the initial curving radius should be smaller than the intended one, reaching the desired radius during the forming of the cassette. With this type of curving practice, the edge of the cassette will not remain completely flat some minor, subtle ripples will be visible on those edges. d) El larson metals INOX se realizará con aletas de 40 mm solo en el sentido del curvado. d) larson metals stainless steel can be curved in cassette form with edges of 40mm in the folding sense. e) Debido a la escasa rigidez del panel composite de 3mm, NO PODRÁ CURVARSE en bandeja con pestaña, por la deformación que sufre la pestaña durante su curvado. e) Due to 3mm composite panels low rigidity, it won’t be possible to curve them on cassette form due to edge distorsion during the process. f) Alucoil tendrá que hacer un estudio previo para verificar cualquier tipo de curvado que desee el cliente para asegurar su correcta ejecución. f) Alucoil should make a preliminary evaluation to verify every curving solution desired by the clients in order to assure its accurate execution. STIFFENER FOLDING The folding of the stiffener is made by a milling on the lacquered skin. The stiffener then will be folded so that the coated skin will remain inside, thus allowing gluing the stiffener NO coated face. 2. PREPARATION OF AREAS Remove dust and dirt using mechanical processes and under no circumstances using solvents. This cleaning consist of a more or less deep sanding, depending on the existing dirt, both PCI face in contact with the panel, and the contact area thereof with PCI. Then you must vacuum the dust, or blow it with compressed air. For cleaning and degreasing later, the degreasing cleaner Sika® Cleaner-205 will be used on both elements. 2. AREAS PRIMING Once clean, Sika® Primer will be applied on both areas to strengthen the adhesion of the glue. Depending on whether the tray is larson or larson metals stainless steel, will be used Sika® Primer 210T or Sika® Primer 204 respectively. 3. DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE Once applied the primer on the area and having elapsed the ® primer timeout (30 '- 60'), proceed to place the SikaTack Panel 3, double-sided tape which will support the PCI while the adhesive polymerizes, plus ensuring the minimum thickness of glue on the stiffener. Specifically, it must be located glued to the opposite edge that is folded. 4. 5. ADHESIVE APPLICATION The application of the SikaTack® Panel adhesive will always on the PCI, applying a strip along the opposite edge to the one we stuck the double-sided tape. 5. 6. STIFFENER PLACEMENT The stiffener is positioned so that the leading edge with mechanized hangers stays perpendicular to the panel, and aligned with the theoretical axis of that stiffener. Later their horizontal foldings will be riveted to upper and lower panel edges. 6. Alucoil installation systems and panels have achieved several European certificates, such as DIT (Spain), ETA (Europe), AVIS TECHNIQUE (France), DIBt (Germany) or BBA (UK), Intertek North America and CODEMARK Australia/NZ. To obtain all of them several tests have been carried out in order to know panels and cassettes behavior under different wind loads. These tests are performed simulating the entire installation system so that the results show the real deflection of our panel/cassette as well as the appearance of plastic deformation, if it existant, once the load has been removed. Para la realización del cálculo de paneles/bandejas y su consiguiente subestructura se tienen en cuenta tanto los estados límite de servicio (flechas) como los estados límite últimos (tensiones), y los siguientes parámetros: To make panel and cassette calculations it is better to also define the substructure, it would be necessary to consider Service Limit State (for deflections), Ultimate Limit State (for stresses) and the following points: a) larson 4mm. b) Flecha máxima admisible en el centro de la cara vista de la bandeja determinada por el proyecto. c) Tensión máxima de diseño del panel composite = 80MPa. d) Flecha máxima del perfil montante L/200 ó 15mm, siendo L la distancia entre dos ménsulas contiguas. e) Coeficiente parcial de seguridad para el viento: 1,5 a) larson 4mm b) Maximum deflection in the middle of the cassette attending to project specifications. c) Maximum stress of composite panel = 80MPa d) Maximum deflection of vertical profile L/200mm or 15mm, where L is the distance between brackets. e) Wind load would be factorized by 1,5 ® ® ® ® ► DISTANCIAS ENTRE MONTANTES VERTICALES “l” ► DISTANCE BETWEEN VERTICAL PROFILES “l” L (mm) H(mm) H(mm) L (mm) Lperfiles (mm) Lperfiles (mm) Lperfiles (mm) LONGITUDES DE BANDEJAS “L” CON 2, 3, 4, 5 y 6 MONTANTES VERTICALES Bandejas 40mm con LCR - ALTURA “H” 1500mm - Modulación horizontal Obligatoria Mandatory CASSETTE LENGTH “L” WITH 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 VERTICAL PROFILES 40mm cassette with LCR-40 - HEIGHT “H” 1500mm - Horizontal modulation Nº DE MONTANTES VERTICALES - NUMBER OF VERTICAL PROFILES Carga Load 200 (N/m ) 2 600 (N/m ) 1000 (N/m2) 2 1400 (N/m ) 1800 (N/m2) 2 2200 (N/m ) 2600 (N/m2) 3000 (N/m2) 2 2 3 4 5 1700mm 1100mm 850mm 750mm 700mm 650mm 600mm 550mm 3550mm 2350mm 1950mm 1700mm 1550mm 1450mm 1350mm 1300mm 5800mm 3850mm 3150mm 2750mm 2500mm 2300mm 2150mm 2050mm 18 7733mm 5133mm 4200mm 3667mm 3333mm 3067mm 2867mm 2733mm 6 8000mm 6417mm 5250mm 4583mm 4167mm 3833mm 3583mm 3417mm Máxima distancia entre montantes Maximum distance between vertical profiles Technical Documentation LONGITUDES DE BANDEJAS “L” CON 2, 3, 4, 5 y 6 MONTANTES VERTICALES Bandejas 44,5mm SIN LCR - ALTURA “H” 1500mm - Modulación horizontal CASSETTE LENGTH “L” WITH 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 VERTICAL PROFILES 44,5mm cassettes with LCR-44,5 - HEIGHT “H” 1500mm - Horizontal modulation NO Without Nº DE MONTANTES VERTICALES - NUMBER OF VERTICAL PROFILES Carga Load 200 (N/m2) 2 600 (N/m ) 1000 (N/m2) 1400 (N/m2) 2 1800 (N/m ) 2200 (N/m2) 2600 (N/m2) 2 3000 (N/m ) 2 3 4 5 6 1750mm 1100mm 850mm 750mm 700mm 650mm 600mm 550mm 3550mm 2350mm 1950mm 1700mm 1550mm 1450mm 1350mm 1300mm 5850mm 3850mm 3200mm 2800mm 2500mm 2300mm 2150mm 2050mm 7800mm 5133mm 4267mm 3733mm 3333mm 3067mm 2867mm 2733mm 8000mm 6417mm 5333mm 4667mm 4167mm 3833mm 3583mm 3417mm Máxima distancia entre montantes Maximum distance between vertical profiles LONGITUDES DE PANELES “L” CON 2, 3, 4, 5 y 6 MONTANTES VERTICALES Sistema Remachado con perfiles perimetrales - ALTURA “H” 1500mm - Modulación horizontal PANEL LENGTH “L” WITH 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 VERTICAL PROFILES Riveted System with vertical + horizontal profiles - HEIGHT “H” 1500mm - Horizontal modulation Nº DE MONTANTES VERTICALES - NUMBER OF VERTICAL PROFILES Carga Load 2 200 (N/m ) 600 (N/m2) 2 1000 (N/m ) 1400 (N/m2) 1800 (N/m2) 2 2200 (N/m ) 2600 (N/m2) 2 3000 (N/m ) 2 2700mm 1450mm 1050mm 850mm 700mm 650mm 550mm 500mm 3 4300mm 2300mm 17000mm 1350mm 1100mm 1050mm 900mm 800mm 4 5 6 5800mm 3100mm 2300mm 1800mm 1500mm 1400mm 1200mm 1100mm 7750mm 4150mm 3050mm 2400mm 2000mm 1850mm 1600mm 1450mm 8000mm 5200mm 3800mm 3000mm 2500mm 2300mm 2000mm 1800mm Obligatoria Mandatory Máxima distancia entre montantes Maximum distance between vertical profiles LONGITUDES DE PANELES “L” CON 2, 3, 4, 5 y 6 MONTANTES VERTICALES Sistema Remachado SOLO perfiles verticales - ALTURA “H” 1500mm - Modulación horizontal PANEL LENGTH “L” WITH 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 VERTICAL PROFILES Riveted system ONLY with vertical profiles - HEIGHT “H” 1500mm - Horizontal modulation Nº DE MONTANTES VERTICALES - NUMBER OF VERTICAL PROFILES Carga Load 200 (N/m ) 2 600 (N/m ) 2 1000 (N/m ) 2 1400 (N/m ) 1800 (N/m2) 2200 (N/m2) 2600 (N/m2) 3000 (N/m2) 2 2 3 4 5 6 2100mm 1350mm 1100mm 950mm 900mm 800mm 750mm 700mm 4700mm 2900mm 2100mm 1700mm 1450mm 1250mm 1100mm 1000mm 6950mm 4450mm 3300mm 2650mm 2250mm 1950mm 1750mm 1600mm 8000mm 5933mm 4400mm 3533mm 3000mm 2600mm 2333mm 2133mm 8000mm 7417mm 5500mm 4417mm 3750mm 3250mm 2917mm 2667mm 19 NO Without Máxima distancia entre montantes Maximum distance between vertical profiles Documentación Técnica 11. Inspection and maintenance a) Inspection must be done at least once per year. This period of time may be shorter depending on the environment where the material is installed. Please ask your supplier for advice regarding this issue. Special recommendations •Remove leaves, grass, rust or other strange substances from the façade. •Cleaning gutters from any blocking object that may cause overflowing on the façade. •Dirt retained in places where rainfall cannot rinse the surface naturally. These aspects may improve the appearance of the building. Checking that cladding closure parts are sealed to avoid water penetration. Once the building is finished, joints, damages on the coating layer, drill perforations, riveted points and materials that could have adhered to the façade, should be treated with special attention. Repairing defects Defects that may cause an early deterioration of coating or aluminium corrosion must be repaired. To clean dirt accumulation, bird droppings and other materials that may not be dissipated naturally by rainfall. All larson cladding material must be cleaned once a year. ® ® ® ® The cleaning must be done with a soft sponge, wet cloth or with mild water pressure system (max pressure 50 bar) avoiding any materials that may scratch the finishing (sand, dust...). A neutral soap (PH 6-7), washing powder or liquid can be mixed with the water (max 10% of detergent in water). Rinsing must be done afterwards with clean water that may contain some kind of liquid wax (i.e car washing) and drying afterwards with nonabrasive materials and a final wipe with a dry soft cotton cloth. It is recommended that pallets are stacked one on top of the other until a maximum of 7 pallet heights. Storage should be protected until installation. A tal fin, se recomienda haber definido al menos los siguientes aspectos: 13.2 Project design Before system installation has taken place, during the design stage, cassette sizes and supports must be determined. For this purpose, it is necessary to define at least the following aspects: ►Perfiles, ménsulas de anclaje a soporte y sus fijaciones. ►Profiles, brackets and its fixings devices. ►Ventilated chamber and thermal insulation thickness. ► Panel type and cassettes size taking into account the definition of joints between them and their assembly to other elements. ►Singular points solutions. Then, brackets will be attached to this support. After that, thermal isolation will be placed before vertical profiles. Rigid hydrophobic flame-proof insulation boards are recommended. The external envelope of the building façade will be installed afterward with standard fascia first and special pieces at the end such corners. 13.4 Empresas instaladoras La instalación del sistema tendrá que realizarse por empresas especializadas reconocidas por Alucoil . 13.4 Installers Installation should be carried out by the panel fabricator or its recognized installer. 13.5 Support preparation Sub-frames must be installed in perfect alignment in order to guarantee the flatness of the system. Before placing the cassettes, pull-out resistance of brackets must be tested in situ, in order to assure support stability and its load bearing capability. The installer will need to give their ok to the support structure before any cassette has been installed . 13.6 Fixing vertical profiles to brackets Brackets should be fixed to supports using self-tapping screws as well as the aforementioned cross bolt. Vertical profiles mounting holes should be machined to allow retention brackets to allow thermal expansion and contraction movement. 13.7 Cassettes Before beginning installation on site, LC-3 support positions must be reviewed, and if the modulation allows it, cassettes should be placed in line facing upwards. That should align with the slots on the LC-3 after riveting cassettes to the wings of the vertical profiles. 13.8 Cassettes and panels During panel or cassette installation it will be necessary to take special precautions to panel directionality, marked with an arrows printed on the protective film and also printed on the panel underside. Once installed, protective film must be removed in order to avoid damage caused by excessive exposition to UV radiation and weather. Architectural Advanced Materials 22 Technical Documentation 14.
