Read Before Update
IMPORTANT: READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY BEFORE
YOU BEGIN UPDATING THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM.

Before starting the update, be sure you have the 16 digit password that came
with the map update disc.
Make sure there is no disc in the unit before inserting the update disc.
The map update set-up time is approximately 30 minutes.
DO NOT cut power from the navigation system during the update. Rebooting
the system during the update process may result in permanent damage to
your navigation system.
To avoid rebooting the system during the set-up time, there are 2 possibilities
for updating:
●
With engine running (recommended option to avoid battery drain, but not
allowed in some countries)
● DO NOT turn off the engine at any time during the update set-up period.
● Park your vehicle in a safe, well-ventilated place.
● DO NOT drive the vehicle during the set-up period.
●
With ignition in IGN2 position (mandatory option in some countries)
● DO NOT turn off the ignition or turn on the engine during the update set-up
period.
● DO NOT perform the update if the battery icon (= charge is low) appears on
the MID.
● Switch off all electric consumers i.e. interior light, radio, fan, etc.
● Preferably do the update after the car has been driven for a considerable
time or distance.
●
Do not eject the disc during the update.
After the set-up period is complete, the rest of the update will run silently in the
background for approximately 5 hours.

Update Process
1. Start vehicle engine.
When the confirmation screen appears,
please read and then press “OK”.
2. Go to the map screen and insert
the map update disc into the audio
system’s disc slot.
3. A confirmation screen appears.
Select “Yes” to continue
the update process.
4. Enter 16 digit password and confirm
by selecting “OK”.
5. A confirmation screen appears.
Select “Yes” to continue the map
update process.
It will take approximately
20 minutes to complete.

Activating Map Update...
A notification window shows
the status of the map data update.
7.
After the map update process is
completed, a notification window
appears to indicate the map update
is complete. The system will
automatically reboot to activate
the map data. Do not eject the DVD
or turn off the engine!
8.
After the system reboots,
a notification screen appears
acknowledging the map data
has been activated.
9.
Updating the application...
It will take approximately 10 min
to complete software update.
10. After the application is updated,
the system will automatically reboot
once again.
When the confirmation screen
appears, eject disc, then please read
and press “OK”.

11. The update map is displayed for
the map area shown. Surrounding
areas will continue to update in the
background.
IMPORTANT: If you have performed the update with engine off and with the
ignition in the IGN2 position, switch off the ignition completely
for one minute before starting the engine. This allows the unit
to reboot properly.
Note: During the background update, a small icon appears on the left
bottom side of the screen showing that the system is updating.
When the update is complete, the icon will disappear.
12. Updating automatically in the
background...
Updating will continue in the
background whilst driving and will run
approximately 5 hours until complete.
13. Background update progress can be
checked by pressing “INFO” button
on unit facia.
Select “Map Data Update Status”
option from INFO menu.

Map Update Error Messages
IMPORTANT: DURING THE MAP UPDATE PROCESS YOU MAY EXPERIENCE
ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MESSAGES:
● Before
starting the update process, please be sure you have the proper disc
ready to insert into the disc drive.
● To avoid cancelling the map update process, do not eject the disc or turn the
engine off during the update process.
E1. This error message appears if an
invalid map update disc is inserted.
Please check the update disc to make
sure it is suitable for your navigation
system. If you encounter any problems
during this process, please contact
Honda Navigation Center for assistance.
E2. This error message appears if an
incorrect password is entered.
Please check password and try again.
E3. This confirmation message appears if
“Cancel” was pressed during the map
update. Select “Yes” to confirm the
cancellation. Select “No” to continue
the map update.

E4. This error message appears if a
disc read error occurs during the
map update. Please try to clean your
map update disc with a soft cloth
and gentle motion. Insert the disc
again. If the problem persists,
contact Honda Navigation Center
for assistance.
E5. This confirmation message
appears if the disc is ejected
during the map update, or if
cancellation of the update
process had been selected.
Press “OK” to continue.

À lire avant la mise à jour
IMPORTANT : LIRE COMPLÈTEMENT CES INSTRUCTIONS AVANT DE
COMMENCER À METTRE A JOUR LE SYSTÈME DE
NAVIGATION.

Avant de commencer la mise à jour, veillez à disposer du mot de passe de
16 chiffres fourni avec le disque de la mise à jour cartographique.
Veillez à ce qu’il n’y ait aucun disque dans l’appareil avant d’insérer le disque
de mise à jour.
La durée de mise à jour est d’environ 30 minutes.
NE PAS COUPER l’alimentation du système de navigation pendant la mise
à jour. Redémarrer le système pendant le processus de mise à jour pourrait
causer des dommages permanents à votre système de navigation.
Pour éviter de redémarrer le système pendant la mise à jour, il y a 2
possibilités pour faire une mise à jour :
●
En laissant tourner le moteur (option recommandée pour éviter de vider la
batterie, mais pas autorisée dans certains pays)
● NE JAMAIS ÉTEINDRE le moteur pendant la durée de mise à jour.
● Garer votre véhicule dans un endroit sûr et bien ventilé.
● NE PAS ROULER avec le véhicule pendant la durée de mise à jour.
●
Avec l’allumage sur la position IGN2 (option obligatoire dans certains pays)
● NE JAMAIS ÉTEINDRE l’allumage ni démarrer le moteur pendant la durée
de mise à jour.
● NE PAS effectuer la mise à jour si le voyant de la batterie (= batterie faible)
apparaît sur le MID (Management Information Dashboard).
● Éteignez tous les accessoires consommateurs d’électricité comme la lumière
intérieure, la radio, la ventilation, etc.
● Il est préférable d’effectuer la mise à jour après avoir roulé avec la voiture
sur une grande distance ou pendant assez longtemps.
●
Ne pas éjecter le disque pendant la mise à jour.
Après que le temps d’initialisation est terminé, le reste de la mise à jour se fera
silencieusement, à l’arrière-plan, pendant environ 5 heures.
●

Procédure de mise à jour
1. Allumez le moteur du véhicule.
Lorsque l’écran de confirmation apparaît,
lisez-le et puis appuyez sur « OK ».
2. Accédez à l’écran des cartes et insérez
le disque de mise à jour cartographique
dans la fente du système audio.
3. Un écran de confirmation s’affiche.
Sélectionnez « Oui » pour poursuivre
la mise à jour.
4. Entrez le mot de passe de 16 chiffres
et confirmez en sélectionnant « OK ».
5. Un écran de confirmation s’affiche.
Sélectionnez « Oui » pour poursuivre
la mise à jour. Cela prend environ
20 minutes pour s’achever.

Activation de la mise à jour
cartographique...
Un écran de notification indique le
statut de la mise à jour cartographique.
7.
Après que le processus de mise
à jour est achevé, un écran de
notification apparaît pour indiquer
que la mise à jour cartographique
est terminée. Le système redémarrera
automatiquement pour activer les
données cartographiques. Ne pas
éjecter le disque ni couper le moteur !
8.
Après le redémarrage du système,
un écran de notification apparaît
pour confirmer l’activation des
données cartographiques.
9.
Mise à jour de l’application...
La mise à jour du logiciel prend
environ 10 min.
10. Une fois l’application mise à jour,
le système redémarre à nouveau
automatiquement. Dès que l’écran
de confirmation apparaît, faites
sortir le disque, vérifiez et puis
appuyez sur « OK ».

11. La carte mise à jour apparaît pour
la zone affichée. Les autres zones
continueront de se mettre à jour
à l’arrière-plan.
IMPORTANT : Si vous avez effectué la mise à jour avec le moteur éteint
et l’allumage sur la position IGN2, éteignez complètement
l’allumage pendant 1 minute avant de faire démarrer le moteur.
Cela permet de faire redémarrer l’unité correctement.
Remarque : Pendant la mise à jour à l’arrière-plan, une petite icône apparaîtra
sur le coin inférieur gauche de l’écran montrant que le système est
en train de se mettre à jour. Lorsque la mise à jour est terminée,
l’icône disparaîtra.
12. Mettre à jour automatiquement à
l’arrière-plan...
La mise à jour continue de se faire à
l’arrière-plan pendant la conduite et
durera environ 5 heures jusqu’à
achèvement.
13. Le progrès de la mise à jour à
l’arrière-plan peut être vérifié en
appuyant sur « INFO » sur l’avant de
l’appareil. Sélectionnez l’option
« Etat mise à jour carte » sur le menu
INFO.

Messages d’erreur de mise à jour
IMPORTANT : LORS DE LA MISE A JOUR, IL EST POSSIBLE QUE LES MESSAGES SUIVANTS APPARAISSENT :
● Avant
de lancer la mise à jour, veillez à avoir le bon disque à insérer dans le
lecteur.
● Pour éviter l’annulation de la mise à jour, ne pas éjecter le disque ni éteindre
le moteur pendant cette mise à jour.
E1. Ce message d’erreur apparaît si un
disque de mise à jour cartographique
invalide est inséré. Merci de vérifier le
disque de mise à jour pour vous assurer
de sa compatibilité avec votre système
de navigation. Si vous rencontrez
d’autres problèmes pendant cette
procédure, merci de contacter le Honda
Navigation Center pour obtenir de l’aide.
E2. Ce message d’erreur apparaît si
un mot de passe erroné a été entré.
Merci de vérifier le mot de passe et
d’essayer à nouveau.
E3. Ce message de confirmation apparaît
si vous avez appuyé sur « Annuler »
pendant la mise à jour. Sélectionner
« Oui » pour confirmer l’annulation.
Sélectionner « Non » pour poursuivre
la mise à jour.

E4. Ce message de confirmation apparaît si
une erreur de lecture se produit lors de
la mise à jour. Veuillez essayer de
nettoyer votre disque de mise à jour
avec un chiffon doux et avec précaution.
Insérez le disque à nouveau. Si le
problème persiste, contactez le Honda
Navigation Center pour obtenir de l’aide.
E5. Ce message de confirmation apparaît
si le disque est éjecté pendant la
durée de la mise à jour ou si
l’annulation de la procédure de
mise à jour a été sélectionnée.
Pressez sur « OK » pour continuer.

Bevor Sie das System aktualisieren, sollten Sie überprüfen, ob Sie über das
aus 16 Zeichen bestehende Passwort verfügen, das mit der Update-Disc
mitgeliefert wurde.
Bevor Sie die Update-Disc einlegen, sollten Sie überprüfen, ob sich kein
anderer Datenträger bereits im Gerät befindet.
Die Konfiguration der Kartenaktualisierung dauert ungefähr 30 Minuten.
Unterbrechen Sie NICHT die Stromversorgung, während das Navigationssystem aktualisiert wird. Ein Neustart des Systems während des Aktualisierungsvorgangs könnte Ihr Navigationssystem dauerhaft beschädigen.
Um die Notwendigkeit eines Neustarts während der Konfiguration zu
vermeiden, können Sie das System auf zweierlei Wegen aktualisieren:
●
Bei laufendem Motor (in bestimmten Ländern ist dies nicht erlaubt; wir
empfehlen jedoch diese Option, damit sich die Batterie nicht entlädt)
● Stellen Sie den Motor während des gesamten Ablaufs der Konfiguration
NICHT ab.
● Parken Sie Ihr Fahrzeug an einem sicheren, gut belüfteten Ort.
● Fahren Sie NICHT mit dem Fahrzeug, während das Update eingerichtet wird.
●
Zündung im IGN2-Stand (verpflichtet in bestimmten Ländern)
● Schalten Sie während der Konfiguration die Zündung NICHT aus bzw.
starten Sie den Motor NICHT.
● Führen Sie die Aktualisierung des Systems NICHT aus, wenn die Kontrollleuchte für die Batterie aufleuchtet (= Batterie zu schwach).
● Schalten Sie alle Funktionen aus, die Strom benötigen, z. B. Innenbeleuchtung, Radio, Ventilator usw.
● Führen Sie die Aktualisierung vorzugsweise dann aus, nachdem Sie mit dem
Fahrzeug eine längere Zeit sind bzw. eine längere Strecke gefahren haben.
Nehmen Sie den Datenträger während des Aktualisierungsvorgangs nicht aus
dem Gerät.
• Wenn die Konfiguration abgeschlossen ist, wird der übrige Teil des Updates etwa
5 Stunden lang geräuschlos im Hintergrund ausgeführt werden.

Aktualisierung der Karten
1. Starten Sie den Motor des Fahrzeugs.
Lesen Sie die nun angezeigten
Informationen und bestätigen Sie diese
dann mit „OK“.
2. Wechseln Sie zum Kartenbildschirm
und legen Sie den Datenträger in den
Schacht des Audio-Systems ein.
3. Nun wird ein Fenster mit einer
Bestätigungsaufforderung angezeigt.
Wählen Sie „Ja“, um den
Aktualisierungsvorgang fortzusetzen.
4. Geben Sie das aus 16 Zeichen
bestehende Passwort ein und bestätigen
Sie diese Angabe mit „OK“.
5. Nun wird ein Fenster mit einer
Bestätigungsaufforderung angezeigt.
Wählen Sie „Ja“, um den Vorgang der
Kartenaktualisierung fortzusetzen.
Dieser Vorgang wird etwa 20 Minuten
dauern.

6. Kartenaktualisierung aktivieren…
In einem Hinweisfenster wird der
Status der Aktualisierung der
Kartendaten angezeigt.
7. Nach Beendigung des Aktualisierungsvorgangs wird ein Fenster mit dem
Hinweis angezeigt, dass die Kartenaktualisierung abgeschlossen ist. Zur
Aktivierung der Kartendaten wird das
System automatisch neu gestartet.
Nehmen Sie den Datenträger nicht aus
dem Gerät heraus und stellen Sie den
Motor nicht ab!
8. Nach dem Neustart des Systems wird
ein Fenster mit dem Hinweis angezeigt,
dass die Kartendaten aktiviert wurden.
9. Anwendung aktualisieren...
Die Aktualisierung der Software wird
etwa 10 Minuten in Anspruch nehmen.
10. Nach der Aktualisierung der Anwendung
wird das System erneut automatisch
neu gestartet. Wenn das Bestätigungsfenster angezeigt wird, nehmen Sie den
Datenträger aus dem Schacht, lesen Sie
bitte die angezeigten Informationen und
drücken Sie dann auf „OK“.

11. Die aktualisierte Karte wird nun für den
angezeigten Kartenbereich eingeblendet.
Die umliegenden Gebiete werden
weiterhin im Hintergrund aktualisiert
werden.
WICHTIGER HINWEIS: Wenn Sie die Aktualisierung bei abgeschaltetem
Motor und mit der Zündung im IGN2-Stand ausgeführt
haben, schalten Sie dann die Zündung zunächst eine
Minute lang ab, bevor Sie den Motor starten. Auf diese
Weise kann das Gerät den Neustart korrekt ausführen.
Hinweis: Während des im Hintergrund laufenden Aktualisierungsvorgangs
wird unten links im Fenster ein kleines Symbol angezeigt, dem Sie
entnehmen können, dass das System aktualisiert wird. Nach Abschluss der Aktualisierung wird das Symbol ausgeblendet.
12. Automatische Aktualisierung im
Hintergrund...
Der Aktualisierungsvorgang wird
während der Fahrt im Hintergrund
fortgesetzt. Er dauert etwa 5 Stunden.
13. Über die „INFO“-Taste auf dem
Armaturenbrett können Sie den Status
des Hintergrundprozesses überprüfen.
Wählen Sie im INFO-Menü die Option
„Update-Status Kartendaten“ (Status
der Aktualisierung der Kartendaten).

Fehlermeldungen
WICHTIGER HINWEIS: FOLGENDE FEHLERMELDUNGEN KÖNNEN WÄHREND DER AKTUALISIERUNG DER KARTEN ANGEZEIGT WERDEN:
● Bevor
Sie mit der Aktualisierung beginnen, sollten Sie darauf achten, dass Sie
den richtigen Datenträger einlegen.
• Nehmen Sie während des Aktualisierungsvorgangs den Datenträger nicht aus
dem Schacht und stellen Sie den Motor nicht ab, damit der Aktualisierungsvorgang nicht abgebrochen wird.
E1. Diese Fehlermeldung wird dann angezeigt,
wenn eine ungültiger Datenträger eingelegt wird. Bitte überprüfen Sie, ob der
Datenträger für Ihr Navigationssystem
geeignet ist. Wenn bei diesem Vorgang
Probleme auftreten sollten, kontaktieren
Sie bitte das Honda Navigation Center.
E2. Diese Fehlermeldung wird bei der
Eingabe eines falschen Passworts
angezeigt. Bitte überprüfen Sie das
Passwort und wiederholen Sie den
Vorgang.
E3. Diese Bestätigung wird angezeigt, wenn
Sie während der Kartenaktualisierung
auf „Abbrechen“ drücken. Wählen Sie
„Ja“, um den Abbruch des Vorgangs
zu bestätigen. Wählen Sie „Nein“, um
den Vorgang der Kartenaktualisierung
fortzusetzen.

E4. Diese Fehlermeldung wird angezeigt,
wenn während der Kartenaktualisierung
ein Lesefehler beim Auslesen des
Datenträgers auftritt. Reinigen Sie in
einem solchen Fall vorsichtig den
Datenträger mit einem weichen Tuch.
Legen Sie anschließend den Datenträger
wieder in den Schacht ein. Wenn das
Problem noch immer nicht behoben ist,
kontaktieren Sie das Honda Navigation
Center.
E5. Diese Bestätigung wird angezeigt,
wenn Sie den Datenträger während
der Kartenaktualisierung aus dem
Gerät herausgenommen oder wenn
Sie den Aktualisierungsprozess
abgebrochen haben. Drücken Sie
auf „OK“, um den Vorgang fortzusetzen.

Lezen voor het updaten
BELANGRIJK: LEES DEZE INSTRUCTIES VOLLEDIG DOOR VOORDAT
U BEGINT MET HET UPDATEN VAN HET NAVIGATIESYSTEEM.

Controleer voor u aan het updaten begint of u het 16-cijferige wachtwoord
hebt dat bijgesloten is bij de schijf met de kaartupdate.
Controleer of er geen schijf in het apparaat zit voordat u de updateschijf
invoert.
Het voorbereiden van de kaartupdate duurt ongeveer 30 minuten.
Schakel de stroom NIET uit tijdens het updaten. Het opnieuw opstarten van
het systeem tijdens het updateproces kan permanente schade aan uw navigatiesysteem tot gevolg hebben.
Om opnieuw opstarten van het systeem tijdens het voorbereiden van het
updaten te voorkomen, kunt u kiezen uit 2 mogelijkheden om te updaten:
●
Met draaiende motor (aanbevolen optie om leegtrekken van de accu te voorkomen, maar in sommige landen niet toegestaan)
● Schakel de motor NIET uit tijdens het voorbereiden van de update.
● Parkeer uw voertuig op een veilige, goed geventileerde plaats.
● Tijdens het voorbereiden van de update NIET met het voertuig rijden.
●
Met het contact in positie IGN2 (verplichte optie in sommige landen)
● Tijdens het voorbereiden van de update NIET het contact uitzetten of de
motor starten.
● De update NIET uitvoeren als het batterij-icoon (= batterij bijna leeg) verschijnt.
● Schakel alles uit wat elektriciteit verbruikt, zoals binnenverlichting, radio,
airco etc.
● De update bij voorkeur uitvoeren nadat er langere tijd of over grote afstand
met de auto is gereden.
●
Haal de schijf er niet uit tijdens de update.
Nadat de voorbereiding is voltooid, wordt de rest van de update in ongeveer
5 uur op de achtergrond verder uitgevoerd.
●

Updateproces
1. Start de motor van het voertuig. Lees
het bevestigingsscherm dat verschijnt
en druk dan op “OK”.
2. Ga naar het kaartscherm en doe de schijf
met de kaartupdate in de sleuf van het
audiosysteem.
3. Er verschijnt een bevestigingsscherm.
Kies “Ja” om verder te gaan met het
updateproces.
4. Voer het 16-cijferige wachtwoord in
en bevestig door “OK” te kiezen.
5. Er verschijnt een bevestigingsscherm.
Kies “Ja” om verder te gaan met het
kaartupdateproces. Het voltooien
hiervan duurt ongeveer 20 minuten.

Kaartupdate activeren...
Een meldingsvenster geeft de status
van de update van de kaartgegevens
weer
7.
Nadat het kaartupdateproces is
afgerond, verschijnt er een meldingsvenster om aan te geven dat de kaartupdate voltooid is. Het systeem zal
automatisch opnieuw opstarten om de
kaartgegevens te activeren. NIET de
DVD eruit halen of de motor uitzetten!
8.
Na het opnieuw opstarten van het
systeem verschijnt op het scherm
een melding om te bevestigen dat
de kaartgegevens zijn geactiveerd.
9.
De applicatie updaten...
Het updaten van de software
duurt ongeveer 10 minuten.
10. Nadat de applicatie is ge-update, wordt
het systeem automatisch weer opnieuw
opgestart. Haal nadat het bevestigingsscherm verschijnt de schijf eruit, lees
de tekst en druk op “OK”.

11. De kaartupdate wordt weergegeven
voor het kaartgebied op het scherm.
Omliggende gebieden worden op
de achtergrond verder ge-update.
BELANGRIJK: Als u de update hebt uitgevoerd met uitgeschakelde motor en
het contact in de positie IGN2, schakel het contact dan gedurende 1 minuut volledig uit voordat u de motor start. Op die
manier kan het apparaat op de juiste wijze opnieuw opstarten.
NOTABENE : Tijdens het updaten op de achtergrond verschijnt linksonder in
het scherm een klein icoon om aan te geven dat het systeem bezig is met updaten. Het icoon verdwijnt als de update is voltooid.
12. Automatisch updaten op de
achtergrond...
De update wordt tijdens het rijden
verder op de achtergrond uitgevoerd
en is na ongeveer 5 uur voltooid.
13. De voortgang van de update op de
achtergrond kan worden gecontroleerd
door op de knop “INFO” op het
bedieningspaneel van het apparaat te
drukken. Kies in het menu INFO de
optie “Updatestatus Kaartinfo”.

Foutmeldingen kaartupdate
BELANGRIJK: TIJDENS HET KAARTUPDATEPROCES KUNNEN EEN OF MEER
VAN DE VOLGENDE MELDINGEN WORDEN WEERGEGEVEN:
● Zorg
ervoor dat u de juiste schijf bij de hand hebt om in de speler in te voeren
voordat u aan het updateproces begint.
● Tijdens het updateproces niet de schijf eruit halen of de motor uitschakelen,
om te voorkomen dat het updateproces wordt geannuleerd.
E1. Deze foutmelding verschijnt als er een
verkeerde kaartupdateschijf is ingevoerd.
Controleer of de updateschijf geschikt is
voor uw navigatiesysteem. Als zich
tijdens dit proces problemen voordoen,
kunt u voor hulp contact opnemen met
het Honda Navigatiecentrum.
E2. Deze foutmelding verschijnt als
er een verkeerd wachtwoord is
ingevoerd. Controleer het
wachtwoord en probeer het opnieuw.
E3. Dit bevestigingsbericht verschijnt als
tijdens het updaten op “Annuleren”
wordt gedrukt. Kies “Ja” om het
annuleren te bevestigen. Kies “Nee”
om door te gaan met de kaartupdate.

E4. Deze foutmelding verschijnt als er zich
tijdens de kaartupdate een probleem
voordoet met het lezen van de schijf.
Veeg voorzichtig met een zachte doek
over de kaartupdateschijf om de schijf
schoon te maken. Voer de schijf opnieuw
in. Als het probleem zich blijft voordoen,
neemt u dan voor hulp contact op met
het Honda Navigatiecentrum.
E5. Dit bevestigingsbericht verschijnt als
de schijf tijdens de kaartupdate wordt
uitgeworpen of als u ervoor hebt
gekozen het updateproces te
annuleren. Druk op “OK” om door
te gaan.

Indicazioni preliminari
IMPORTANTE: LEGGERE ATTENTAMENTE LE ISTRUZIONI CHE SEGUONO PRIMA DI PROCEDERE ALL’AGGIORNAMENTO DEL
NAVIGATORE.

Prima di avviare l’aggiornamento, recuperare la password a 16 cifre che
accompagna il disco di aggiornamento mappa.
Assicurarsi che il vano sia sgombro prima di inserire il disco di aggiornamento.
Il tempo di impostazione aggiornamento mappa è di circa 30 minuti.
NON disinserire l’alimentazione dal navigatore durante l’aggiornamento. Il rebooting del sistema durante l’aggiornamento può danneggiare il navigatore.
Per evitare il rebooting del sistema durante il periodo di impostazione vi sono
2 possibilità per l’aggiornamento:
●
A motore in moto (opzione consigliata per evitare di scaricare la batteria ma
non consentito in alcuni paesi)
● NON spegnere assolutamente il motore durante il periodo di impostazione
dell’aggiornamento.
● Parcheggiare il veicolo in luogo sicuro e ben ventilato.
● NON mettere in moto il veicolo durante il periodo di impostazione.
●
Con l’accensione in posizione IGN2 (opzione obbligatoria in alcuni paesi)
● NON disinserire l’accensione o avviare il motore durante il periodo di impostazione dell’aggiornamento.
● NON procedere all’aggiornamento se l’icona della batteria (= carica insufficiente) compare su MID.
● Disinserire tutti gli utilizzatori (luci interno veicolo, autoradio, ventola, ecc.)
● Effettuare l’aggiornamento preferibilmente dopo un periodo di guida o
percorrenza prolungati.
●
Non rimuovere il disco durante l’aggiornamento.
Al completamento dell’impostazione, la restante parte dell’aggiornamento
continua autonomamente per circa 5 ore.
●

Procedura di aggiornamento
1. Avviare il motore.
Al comparire della videata di conferma,
leggere e poi premere “OK”.
2. Attivare la videata di mappa e inserire il
disco di aggiornamento mappa nella
sede disco del sistema audio.
3. Comparirà la videata di conferma.
Selezionare “Sì” per procedere
all’aggiornamento.
4. Digitare la password a 16 cifre e
confermare selezionando “OK”.
5. Comparirà la videata di conferma.
Selezionare “Sì” per continuare
l’aggiornamento. Per il completamento
occorrono circa 20 minuti.

6.
Attivazione aggiornamento mappa...
La finestra di notifica mostra lo stato
dell’aggiornamento dati di mappa.
7.
Al termine dell’aggiornamento mappa,
compare la finestra di notifica a
conferma dell’avvenuto completamento.
Successivamente, il sistema effettua il
reboot automatico per l’attivazione dei
dati di mappa. Non rimuovere il DVD
e non spegnere il motore!
8.
Dopo il reboot del sistema compare
la videata di notifica a conferma
dell’attivazione dei dati di mappa.
9.
Aggiornamento applicazione...
Per l’aggiornamento del software
occorrono 10 minuti.
10. Dopo l’aggiornamento dell’applicazione,
il sistema effettua nuovamente il reboot
automaticamente. Al comparire della
videata di conferma, rimuovere il disco,
leggere e poi premere “OK”.

11. La mappa di aggiornamento compare
per la zona indicata. Le zone circostanti
proseguono l’aggiornamento
autonomamente.
IMPORTANTE: Se l’aggiornamento è stato effettuato a motore spento e con
l’accensione nella posizione IGN2, disinserire l’accensione per
un minuto prima di avviare il motore. Così facendo il reboot
avviene correttamente.
Nota: Durante l’aggiornamento in autonomia, una piccola icona, che ne indica
l’esecuzione in atto, compare in basso a sinistra. Ad aggiornamento avvenuto, l’icona scompare.
12. Aggiornamento in autonomia...
L’aggiornamento continua in
autonomia durante la guida,
protraendosi per circa 5 ore.
13. L’esecuzione dell’aggiornamento in
autonomia può essere verificato
premendo il pulsante “INFO” sul
frontale. Selezionare l’opzione
“Stato aggiorn. dati mappa” dal
menu INFO.

Messaggi di errore aggiornamento mappa
IMPORTANTE: DURANTE L’AGGIORNAMENTO MAPPA POSSONO COMPARIRE I MESSAGGI INDICATI DI SEGUITO:
● Prima
di avviare l’aggiornamento, recuperare il disco previsto da inserire nel
disc drive.
● Per evitare di cancellare l’aggiornamento mappa, non rimuovere il disco o
spegnere il motore durante l’aggiornamento.
E1. Messaggio di errore in caso di
inserimento disco di aggiornamento
non valido. Controllare il disco di
aggiornamento per assicurarsi che sia
quello previsto per il navigatore. In
presenza di anomalie, rivolgersi a
Honda Navigation Center per gli
interventi del caso.
E2. Il messaggio di errore compare se
si digita una password non valida.
Ricontrollare la password e riprovare.
E3. Messaggio di conferma che compare
premendo “Annulla” durante
l’aggiornamento mappa. Selezionare
“Sì” per confermare la cancellazione.
Selezionare “No” per continuare
l’aggiornamento mappa.

E4. Messaggio di errore che compare in
presenza di errore di lettura disco
durante l’aggiornamento mappa.
Pulire il disco aggiornamento mappa
delicatamente mediante un panno
soffice. Reinserire il disco. Se
l’inconveniente permane, rivolgersi a
Honda Navigation Center.
E5. Messaggio di conferma che compare
in caso di rimozione del disco durante
l’aggiornamento della mappa, oppure
selezionando la cancellazione
dell’aggiornamento. Premere “OK”
per continuare.

Para leer antes de la actualización
IMPORTANTE: LEA ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES EN SU TOTALIDAD ANTES
DE EMPEZAR A ACTUALIZAR EL SISTEMA DE NAVEGACIÓN.

Antes de comenzar la actualización, asegúrese de que tiene la contraseña de
16 dígitos que venía con el disco de actualización de mapas.
Asegúrese de que no hay ningún disco en la unidad antes de insertar el disco
de actualización.
El tiempo de configuración de la actualización de mapas es de aproximadamente 30 minutos.
NO desconecte la alimentación del sistema de navegación durante la actualización. Si reinicia el sistema durante el proceso de actualización puede
provocar daños permanentes en su sistema de navegación.
Para evitar reiniciar el sistema durante el tiempo de configuración, hay 2
posibilidades de actualización:
●
Con el motor en marcha (opción recomendada para que no se agote la batería, pero no permitida en algunos países)
● NO apague el motor en ningún momento durante el periodo de configuración de la actualización.
● Aparque su vehículo en un lugar seguro y bien ventilado.
● NO conduzca el vehículo durante el periodo de configuración.
●
Con la ignición en la posición IGN2 (opción obligatoria en algunos países)
● NO apague la ignición ni encienda el motor durante el periodo de configuración de la actualización.
● NO efectúe la actualización si en el MID aparece el icono de la batería (=
batería baja).
● Apague todos los elementos que consuman electricidad, como la luz interior, la radio, el ventilador, etc.
● Realice la actualización preferiblemente después de haber conducido el
vehículo durante un tiempo o distancia considerable.
●
No saque el disco durante la actualización.
Una vez completado el periodo de configuración, el resto de la actualización se
ejecutará en silencio y en segundo plano durante aproximadamente 5 horas.
●

Proceso de actualización
1. Arranque el motor del vehículo.
Cuando aparezca la pantalla de
confirmación, léala y después
presione «OK».
2. Vaya a la pantalla de mapas e inserte
el disco de actualización de mapas en
la ranura de disco del sistema de audio.
3. Aparece una pantalla de confirmación.
Seleccione «Sí» para continuar con el
proceso de actualización.
4. Introduzca la contraseña de 16 dígitos
y confirme pulsando «OK».
5. Aparece una pantalla de confirmación.
Seleccione «Sí» para continuar con el
proceso de actualización de mapas.
Tardará aproximadamente 20 minutos
en completarse.

6. Activando la actualización de mapas...
Una ventana de notificación muestra el
estado de actualización de datos de los
mapas.
7. Cuando haya finalizado el proceso de
actualización de mapas, aparecerá una
ventana de notificación que indica que
la actualización de mapas ha terminado.
El sistema se reiniciará automáticamente
para activar los datos de los mapas.
No saque el DVD ni apague el motor!
8. Una vez reiniciado el sistema, aparece
una pantalla de notificación que confirma
la activación de los datos de los mapas.
9. Actualizando la aplicación...
Se tardan aproximadamente 10 minutos
en completar la actualización de software.
10. Cuando se haya actualizado la
aplicación, el sistema volverá a
reiniciarse automáticamente. Cuando
aparezca la pantalla de confirmación,
saque el disco, lea la pantalla y
presione «OK».

11. Se muestra el mapa actualizado para
el área de mapa mostrada. Las zonas
contiguas seguirán actualizándose en
un segundo plano.
IMPORTANTE: Si ha realizado la actualización con el motor apagado y con la
ignición en la posición IGN2, apague la ignición completamente durante un minuto antes de arrancar el motor. Esto permite
a la unidad reiniciarse adecuadamente.
Nota: Mientras se realiza la actualización en un segundo plano, aparecerá un
pequeño icono en el lado inferior izquierdo de la pantalla que indica que
el sistema está actualizándose. Cuando la actualización haya finalizado,
el icono desaparecerá.
12. Actualizándose automáticamente en
segundo plano...
La actualización continuará en segundo
plano mientras conduce y tardará
aproximadamente 5 horas en
completarse.
13. Puede comprobar el progreso de la
actualización en segundo plano
presionando el botón «INFO» en la
parte delantera de la unidad. Seleccione
la opción «Estado de actualiz. mapa»
del menú INFO.

Mensajes de error de la actualización
de mapas
IMPORTANTE: DURANTE EL PROCESO DE ACTUALIZACIÓN DE MAPAS
PUEDE ENCONTRARSE CON ALGUNO DE LOS SIGUIENTES
MENSAJES:
● Antes
de empezar con el proceso de actualización, asegúrese de que tiene
listo el disco adecuado para insertarlo en la unidad de disco.
● Para evitar cancelar el proceso de actualización del mapa, no saque el disco ni
apague el motor durante el proceso de actualización.
E1. Este mensaje de error aparece si se ha
insertado un disco de actualización no
válido. Por favor, compruebe el disco de
actualización para asegurarse de que es
adecuado para su sistema de navegación.
Si experimenta algún problema durante
este proceso, le rogamos que se ponga
en contacto con el Centro de Navegación
Honda.
E2. Este mensaje de error aparece si se
ha introducido una contraseña
incorrecta. Compruebe la contraseña
y vuelva a introducirla.
E3. Este mensaje de error aparece si se
presionó «Cancelar» durante la
actualización del mapa. Seleccione
«Sí» para confirmar la cancelación.
Seleccione «No» para continuar con
la actualización del mapa.

E4. Este mensaje de error aparece si se
produce un error en la lectura del disco
durante la actualización del mapa.
Intente limpiar el disco de actualización
de mapas con un paño suave y
movimientos suaves. Vuelva a insertar
el disco. Si el problema persiste,
póngase en contacto con el Centro
de Navegación Honda.
E5. Este mensaje de error aparece si se
saca el disco durante la actualización
del mapa, o si se ha seleccionado la
cancelación del proceso de
actualización. Presione «OK»
para continuar
