Preparing your family for Immigration Enforcement
On Sunday, Jan. 31 at 2:00 p.m., Sarah Yore Van Oosterhout, a lawyer,
will be here to go over vital and urgent information. By attending this session and then filling out the forms you’ll receive, your family will be prepared in case ICE appears at your door or anywhere else. You’ll also be
very aware of your rights. This will be held in the multi-purpose room.

New and returning families are invited to tour the school. Student
Ambassadors will be available to answer questions.
At 6:30 pm parents are welcome to come to Faith Forum for an
Educational Coffee, highlighting this year’s progress and looking
ahead to 2016-17 school year.
Children preschool ages through 8th grade are invited to stay for
a movie night. Families with children 3 and under can register for
free childcare during the Education Coffee.

Often we find ourselves struggling in our spiritual lives. Wouldn’t it be
nice if we could have a support group to talk to and receive and give
encouragement? Small groups can be just that.
Our parish is encouraging all adults to serious consider joining a small
group this Lent. Lent is a time of renewing your spiritual life and small
groups are a great way to reflect on God speaking to you through
scripture, to be challenged to heed His Word, and to grow in relationship with other parishioners who also seek to grow in their faith.
We have a lofty goal. We’ like to have 15 groups this Lent. We can
do it!

If you’d like to get connected to a group, visit our parish website to
sign up or get a sign up card in the gathering space. If you’d like to
form your own group, contact the parish office about resources and
training.

The next baptism preparation class
will be held on Feb. 2, 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.
A menudo nos encontramos luchando en nuestra vida espiritual. ¿No
sería bueno si pudiéramos tener un grupo de apoyo para hablar,
recibir y dar aliento? Los grupos pequeños pueden hacer precisamente eso.
Nuestra parroquia está animando a todos los adultos que consideren
unirse a una comunidad de fe en esta Cuaresma. La Cuaresma es un
tiempo de renovación de su vida espiritual y los grupos pequeños son
una gran manera de reflexionar sobre Dios te habla a través de las
Escrituras, para ser desafiado a escuchar su Palabra, y para crecer
en la relación con otros feligreses que también tratan de crecer en su
fe.
Tenemos un noble objetivo. Hemos gustaría tener 15 grupos de esta
Cuaresma. ¡Podemos hacerlo!
