Special recognition to the our Advocacy Group who
through their hard work and dedication were able to
get a computer class for seniors started at the
National City Public Library. The advocacy group
worked hard for over a year to get this computer class
for seniors. There are 6 students in each class which is
on Tuesdays and Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30. The
classes are small so the students can get 1-1 attention.
The library hired a teacher specifically for this class
and promoted getting volunteers to help. Great job
and congratulations for your accomplishment!
Are you tired of the cuts to Medical, Medicare and InHome Supportive Services?? Attend a Kimball Advocacy
Group meeting and learn about your rights!!! Meetings every
Thursday from 11:00am to 12:00pm in the English classroom.
If you have any questions please call Raquel at (619) 293-3500

La Rondalla is a group of senior citizens who get together once a week to sing mostly Mexican songs , although we do know and
sing some songs in English. We have three guitarists. We are always looking for new members who can play an instrument or who just love to
sing.
