“Los Primos de Durango” se han caracterizado por sorprendernos con cada una de sus
producciones, ofreciendo siempre una novedad, renovándose día a día en su música.
GRUPERAS QUE HICIERON HISTORIA, es el disco número 12 en su carrera que nace
con la intención de rescatar grandes covers de los años 80´s y 90´s de aquellas
agrupaciones que contagiaban con su música y lograron abrir camino a todas las que
seguían sus pasos. Es por eso que se volvieron iconos de la música grupera.
Esta grandiosa producción inicia su promoción con el tema “Celoso”, que interpretara el
grupo “Toppaz” en los 80´s. Este material es un homenaje a todos esos íconos que han
sobrevivido pese al paso del tiempo y de las nuevas corrientes musicales, por lo que se les
ha reconocido como inmortales, y el día de hoy “Los Primos de Durango” comparten esta
historia de diez grandes éxitos con las nuevas generaciones y con todos aquellos que
fueron testigos de esa época a los que harán recordar hermosos momentos de juventud
con temas como: “Tu cárcel”, “Adolescente y bonita”, “La Coloreteada”, “Palabras tristes”,
“Tu infame engaño”, entre otras.
En entrevista Arturo, vocalista del grupo comentó: “Es un proyecto en el que hemos
trabajado varios años. Queremos que sea un digno homenaje a todos esos líderes de la
música grupera los cuales fueron nuestra inspiración para seguir sus pasos. Son temas
que nuestros padres escuchaban y a las cuales les tenemos mucho cariño. Ofrecemos
este disco a todos esos grandes personajes que hoy son inmortales gracias a su música y
que hoy están en “GRUPERAS QUE FUERON HISTORIA”.
Javier, segunda voz del grupo agrego: Desde el inicio de nuestra carrera artística, nuestra
corriente musical ha sido “Duranguense Light” pero en esta producción quisimos
conservar el estilo musical de cada tema en particular, lo cual representa un digno
homenaje de “Los Primos de Durango” hacia las agrupaciones que hemos admirado
através de los años.
“Los Primos de Durango” are special because of their productions: they always offer a
something new by innovating in their music.
GRUPERAS QUE HICIERON HISTORIA, is their record #12 and it was created with the
intention of bringing 80s and 90s hits back to life; those hits that other bands used to make
people dance and that opened the path to the other bands that were going to follow. This
is the reason why these bands became icons in the music industry.
This great album begins to be promoted with the sing “Celoso”, sung by “Toppaz” in the
80s. This material is a tribute to all those music icons that have survived in spite of the time
changes and the new music styles and, for this reason, they have been considered as
immortals. Today, “Los Primos de Durango” share these musicians´ story with ten great hits
for the new generations and all those who witnessed their success will remember beautiful
moments of their youth with songs like “Tu cárcel”, “Adolescente y bonita”, “La
Coloreteada”, “Palabras tristes”, “Tu infame engaño”, and others.
Arturo, lead singer, commented during and interview: “It’s a Project in which we’ve worked
for some years. We wanted it to be an honorable tribute to all those leaders of the
“grupera” music that inspired us to be like them. They are songs that our parents used to
listen to and we are very fond of them. We offer this record as a tribute to all those great
musicians who were immortalized by their music and appear in this record called
“GRUPERAS QUE FUERON HISTORIA”.
Javier, backgroud voice of the group, added: “Since the beginning of our artistic career our
“Duranguese Light” has been our style, but in this record we wanted to the same style as
in their original songs, which represents a decent tribute from “Los Primos de Durango” to
all those bands we have admired through the years.
