Children’s Faith Formation
Lenten Service Day: *New Date Families
are invited to assist with the packing of the
Easter Food Bags on Friday, March 22 at 3:15
p.m. in the Commons of the Worship Center.
Come and assist the Social Ministry team by
sorting and packing food bags for those in need this Easter.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
is celebrated on Sundays at the 100am
liturgy. Children ages 4yrs to 8 yrs. are
invited to gather in the Daily Mass
Chapel during the liturgy to listen to and
participate in the Liturgy of the Word in
a way that is relevant to their young
lives. They return to their family before
the celebration of the Eucharist.
No registration is necessary.

Steubenville Atlanta Youth Conference Registration has
begun for our annual trip to the Steubenville Atlanta Youth

of other Catholic youth and connect with peers from around

Young Adult Spring Retreat The first diocesan retreat of
2013 available for young adults will be at Hungry Mother
State Park in Marion, VA, April 12-14. Registration and more

Adult Faith Formation
The 21st Century Catholic is a faith discussion group led by
Sr. Maria Joseph that meets weekly on Thursdays, from 9:30
-10:30am, in the Commons Meeting Space. Our topic for
Thursday, March 21, is “Via Crucis: Walking With Christ During Holy Week.” New participants are always welcome!
Inclusive Ministries
SPRED – (Special Religious Development) prepares persons
with intellectual disabilities to fully belong in the liturgical life
of the parish. Catechists welcome their friends into a small
faith community where the Word of God is shared through
symbolic catechesis. OLMC’s two SPRED groups (for adults
22 and older) meet Wednesday evenings. If you are interested in becoming a mentor or helper catechist, Contact

Fifth Week of Lent—Drinking Clean Water in Pakistan
This week we focus our prayers, fasting and almsgiving on
Pakistan, where poor communities often do not have
access to clean water. CRS helps communities build water
pumps so they can have clean water nearby for use at
home and on their farms.
This week, consider fasting from all beverages except
for water, and donate what you saved to your Rice
Bowl.
Engaging Spirituality
We ask your continued prayers as the 6 participants enter the
final movement: Down to Earth. They have dedicated 21
weeks to Holy Listening and are at the last few weeks of this
journey.

Nursery
Our nursery is a CO-Op Nursery, currently at the 10am Mass,
staffed by parents who utilize the nursery and volunteer
about one Sunday per month. It is a place for children ages 1
to 4 years old to come together to worship, learn about God
and grow in their faith development through Bible stories,
songs and activities. Please call Heather, 369-2632 or Christa,

As per Diocesan requirements, we are required to have at
least 2 caregivers present in the nursery at all times. In addition, adult volunteers must complete the 3 hour VIRTUS
training (go to www.virtusonline.org to register).

Final Lenten Soup Supper and
Dramatized Stations of the Cross

On Friday, March 22, we will gather for a simple soup and
bread meal at 6 PM in the Church Commons. Following the
meal, at 7 PM, we will have our final Stations of the Cross.
Easter Children’s Choir
Open to children in grades K - 8. This choir will provide music for the Noon Mass on Easter Sunday. One more rehearsal will be held this Tuesday, March 19, at 6:30 p.m.

Chrism Mass Bus Available
Consider attending the Chrism Mass at

All those who have attended a Cursillo retreat are invited to
an Ultreya group reunion on Sunday, March 24, beginning

que no tiene seguro medico aquí
en la Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Carmen.
Que es esto?: La atención medica es proveído por personal
de “BON SECOURS CARE-A-VAN”
Cuando: Cada SEGUNDO Y CUARTO MARTES de cada mes La
registración empieza a las 9:30 am hasta que la clínica
este llena. Entre mas temprano llegue mas temprano
será atendido.
Costo: TODOS LOS SERVICIO SON GRATIS, pero las donaciones siempre son apreciadas.
Servicios Incluidos: Evaluación de rutina y tratamiento de enfermedades agudas comunes, incluyendo; infecciones respiratorias, dolores de cabeza, dolores de oídos , y conjuntivitis; vías urinarias e
infecciones de la vejiga; gastritis y acideces; erupciones menores de
la piel (ronchitas); dolores musculares menores, y condiciones
crónicas tales como diabetes e hipertensión.
También: Exámenes físicos para escuelas, exámenes físicos para
deportes; seguro medico para niños, inscripciones y educación
sana. Se esta trabajando para entrenar a personas bilingües para
que puedan asistirte en estas clínicas de momento si tu no tienes
un traductor, llama a la oficina para que se te asigne uno durante tu
visita. Para aquellos que se han inscrito como interpretes estar
pendiente de la información, para un entrenamiento de parte de la
parroquia. De la manera que Dios nos da la vida, la iglesia siempre
esta comprometida a ayudarte a que tengas una buena salud, tanto física como espiritual. También hay algunos programas para que
la medicina de te pueda proveer de forma gratuita. Pregunta a

cuidar tu SALUD!!!!!!!
Viviendo la Eucaristía.
Ya hemos iniciado el programa de “Vive la Eucaristía”
Este programa nos ayudara a profundizar mas
en nuestro conocimiento y entendimiento sobre
la Liturgia que celebramos cada domingo.
“Vive la Eucaristía” Es un programa parroquial de renovación espiritual, que nos ofrece una oportunidad de crecer en
nuestra fe, aprendiendo mas sobre la Eucaristía, participar
mas activamente en la misa dominical y viviendo la Eucaristía
cada día, como verdadero discípulos de Jesús.
Si quieres unirte a una reunión, siente Bienvenido consulta
con alguien del equipo de cómo puedes participar.
VIACRUCIS EN VIVO
Se esta coordinando la dramatización del viacrucis
en vivo para el viernes Santo.
Domingo Malpica esta buscando personas que le ayuden
a dramatizar las estaciones de la cruz.
Su colaboración es muy importante para la realización
de este evento, ya que se necesita de mucha ayuda.
Primero pregunta a Domingo Malpica los horarios
para los ensayos y los papeles que queremos dramatizar.
Los ensayo serán los días domingos antes de la misa y alguno
serán el dia Jueves, los horarios serán publicados pronto en
el boletín o puedes hablar directamente con Dominguito.
