1. SAFETY FIRST
• ALWAYS treat the airgun as though it is loaded and ready to fire.
• ALWAYS treat airguns with the same respect you would a firearm.
• ALWAYS store the airgun unloaded.
• ALWAYS store the airgun away from children.
• ALWAYS aim in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• DO NOT point the airgun at any person or at anything you do not intend to shoot.
• ALWAYS keep the muzzle of the airgun pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to shoot.
• ALWAYS keep the airgun “ON SAFE” until you are ready to shoot (see section 3A).
• ALWAYS check to see if the airgun is “ON SAFE” (see section 3A) and unloaded when receiving or handing to another person.
• ALWAYS have you and others wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes.
• ALWAYS wear shooting glasses over eye glasses if your reading or prescription glasses are not safety glasses.
• ALWAYS place a shooting backstop in a location that will be safe should the backstop fail.
• ALWAYS check your backstop for wear before and after each use. All backstops are subject to wear and will eventually fail. Replace your backstop if
the surface is worn or damaged, or if a ricochet occurs.
• ALWAYS use the proper size pellet in your airgun. Check the markings on your airgun to verify the pellet size.
• NEVER reuse ammunition.
• NEVER shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The BB may bounce off or ricochet and hit someone or something you had not intended
to hit.
• NEVER attempt to disassemble or tamper with your airgun.
• Use an Authorized Service Station. Using an unauthorized service or repair center, or modifying the function of your airgun in any way, may be
unsafe and will void your warranty.
• NEVER point the airgun at any person.
• Never point the airgun at anything you do not intend to shoot.

7. Aiming and Firing Safely

• Youandotherswithyoushouldalwayswearshootingglassestoprotectyoureyes.
• Donotshootathardsurfacesoratthesurfaceofwater.TheBBorpelletmaybounceofforricochetandhitsomeoneorsomething
youhadnotintendedtohit.
• Alwayschooseyourtargetcarefully.Forexample,youmaywishtoshootatpaperbullseyetargetsthatareattachedtoasafe
backstopsuchastheCrosman0852pelletTrap(availableatcrosman.com).
• Yourairgunisdesignedfortargetshootingandissuitedforbothindoorandoutdooruse.Alwaysremembertoplaceyourtarget
carefully.THINKaboutwhatyouwillhitifyoumissthetarget.
• Followtheinstructionsforpumping(Section4)andloadingBB(Section5A)orpellets(Section6A).
• Theairguniscorrectlyaimedwhenthefrontsightbladeispositionedexactlyinthecenteroftheapertureoftherearsight.Thetop
ofthefrontsightbladeshouldbeevenwiththetopoftheapertureintherearsight.Thebulls-eyeshouldappeartorestonthetop
ofthefrontsight.(Fig.10)Whenyouaresureofyourtargetandbackstop,andtheareaaroundthetargetisclear,taketheairgun
“OFFSAFE”(Seesection3B)andpullthetriggertofire.

9. Maintaining Your Airgun
• Beforeyouattempttooilyourairgun,makesurethegunis“ONSAFE”,unloadedandtheairhasbeenremoved(seeSection5B

• Yourairgunwillmaintainproperfunctionlongerifyouoilitevery250shots.putonedropofCrosman0241pellgunoil®(availableat
crosman.com)onthepumppivotpinsandthepumpcupinthepumpmechanism.(Fig14)DONOTusepetroleumdistillatebasedoil
orsolventandDONOTover-oilasthiscancausedamagetoyourgun.
• Closetheforearm,pointtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION,takeOFFSAFE,andpullthetrigger.
• Alightcoatofpellgunoil®onthebarrelhelpspreventrust.
• DONOTMODIFYORALTERYOURAIRGUN.Attemptstomodifytheairguninanywayinconsistentwiththismanualmaymakeyour
airgununsafetouse,causeseriousinjuryordeath,andwillvoidthewarranty.
• Ifyoudropyourairgun,visuallychecktoseethatnodamagehasoccurredtothegun.Ifanythingseemschanged,likeashorter

• Mantenga SIEMPRE la boca del rifle de aire apuntando en una DIRECCIÓN SEGURA.
• Mantenga SIEMPRE el dedo apartado del gatillo y fuera del guardamonte hasta que esté listo para disparar.
• Mantenga SIEMPRE el seguro activado (“ON SAFE”) en el rifle de aire hasta que esté listo para disparar (vea la sección 3A).
• Compruebe SIEMPRE que el rifle de aire tenga el seguro puesto (“ON SAFE”) (vea la sección 3A) y que esté descargado al recibirlo de otra persona.
• Cuide que usted y los demás utilicen SIEMPRE anteojos para disparar a fin de protegerse los ojos.
• Utilice SIEMPRE anteojos para disparar sobre sus anteojos para lectura o recetados si éstos no son de seguridad.

• Placez TOUJOURS l’écran pare-balles dans un endroit sécuritaire au cas où le dispositif ferait défaut.
• Vérifiez TOUJOURS l’état d’usure de votre l’écran pare-balles avant et après chaque utilisation. Tous les écrans pare-balles s’usent avec le temps et
finissent par ne plus fonctionner. Remplacez votre écran pare-balles si la surface est usée ou endommagée ou si un ricochet se produit.
