Freehand drawing as a tool for visualization. Principles of orthographic projection, sections, auxiliary views and conventional practices. Pictorial drawings: axonometric, oblique and perspective. Introduction to descriptive geometry. Hand and computer‐aided drawing. Spanish: Principios de Lenguaje Grafico: Fundamentos de delineación, análisis y solución de problemas de espacio, símbolos y normas de uso en Ingeniería. Dibujo a mano alzada como herramienta de visualización. Principios de proyecci6n, secciones, vistas auxiliares y practicas convencionales. Dibujo y perspectivas. Introducción a la geometría descriptiva. Dibujo manual y asistido por computadora. Main Objectives: To provide engineering students with a strong base of contemporary skill in graphic communications as applied to engineering with emphasis on creative solutions and problem solving strategies utilizing practical delineation and visualization techniques.
