Flash N°: 11 Special Stage: SS11 Giulio Césare I Distance: 22,07km Weather: rainy, fog / lluvioso, con neblina/ Pluvieux, avec un peu de brouillard Road conditions: muddy in some places, loose stones /con barro en algunos sectores y piedras sueltas/boueux dans certaines parties et avec des pierres _________________________________________________________________________________ Car 5. HIRVONEN, Mikko / LEHTINEN, Jarmo Eng: “For me it was very good. A pretty stage. Pretty straightforward. There was fog, but not too bad, conditions were pretty good”. Esp: “Fue bueno para mí. Un lindo tramo, bastante directo. Había neblina pero no estuvo tan mal. Las condiciones fueron bastante buenas”. Fra: “Cela a été très bien pour moi. Une belle étape, assez directe. Il y avait du brouillard mais ce n’était pas très mal. OSTBERG, Mads / ANDERSSON, Jonas Eng: There is much damage in the front of the car. “We have no mechanical problems at all, but I´m driving with one hand” (He was very slow, more than one minute under Hirvonen). "The hand is bad. It's so bad I'm not able to use it. I'm driving with my left hand only and it’s impossible on a stage like this”. Esp: El auto está muy dañado en la parte delantera. “No tuvimos ningún problema mecánico pero estoy manejando con una mano.” (Anduvo muy lento, más de un minuto por debajo de Hirvonen). “La mano me duele, no la puedo usar. Estoy manejando con la izquierda solamente y eso es imposible en un tramo como este.” Fra: Le front de la voiture est très endommagé. “On n’a pas eu de problèmes mécaniques mais je conduis avec une seule main.” (Il n’a pas piloté vite, plus d’une minute plus lent que Hirvonen). “Ma main va mal, très mal, je ne l’utilise pas. Esp: “Comenzamos bien pero después tuvimos un mal tiempo parcial que me indicaba que fui más rápido que Evans así que a partir de ahí lo tomé con calma.” Fra: “Nous avons bien commencé mais après nous avons fait un mauvais temps partiel qui indiquait que j’étais plus rapide qu’Evans. It was great fun, but also a challenge.” Esp: “Estoy tratando de agarrar el ritmo, mi tiempo fue bueno. Tuve un tramo sin problemas. Fue divertido pero también fue un desafío.” Fra: “J’essaye d’avoir un bon rythme. J’ai fait un bon temps. La spéciale a été correcte pour moi. MEEKE, Kris / NAGLE, Paul Eng: "Perfect, I can afford to lose some time. Third or fourth place on the rally would be fine for me. In a few years time, I don't want to be battling for third or fourth." Esp: “Puedo permitirme perder algo de tiempo. El tercer o cuarto puesto en el rally estaría bien para mí. En unos años no quiero estar peleando por el tercer o cuarto lugar.” Fra: “Je peux me permettre de perdre un peu de temps. La troisième ou quatrième place du rallye serait bien pour moi. OGIER, Sebastien / INGRASSIA, Julien Eng: “I´m happy. I never push here. It’s a lottery and I prefer to just get through. It’s okay, you cannot win all the time and this proves you have to fight to win. I have no problem with Jari´s position. Jari­Matti deserves it." Esp: “Estoy contento. Nunca presiono acá. Es una lotería y prefiero terminar. Está ok. No se puede ganar siempre y esto prueba que hay que pelear para ganar. No tengo ningún problema con la posición de Jari. Jari­Matti se lo merece.” Fra: “Je suis satisfait. Jamais je ne mets de pression ici. C’est un tirage au sort et je prèfere terminer. C’est ok. On ne peut pas toujours gagner et cela laisse en évidence qu’il faut batailler pour le faire. Je n’ai aucun problème avec la position de Jari. LATVALA, Jari­Matti / ANTTILA, Miikka Eng: "These two stages have normally been good for me, but they are difficult. You really have to be awake." Esp: “Normalmente, estos dos tramos eran buenos para mí, pero son difíciles. Realmente hay que estar atentos.” Fra: “D’habitude, ces deux spéciales étaient bonnes pour moi mais difficiles. AL­ATTIYAH, Nasser / BERNACCHINI, Giovanni Eng: I don´t know if I hit anything but rear anti­roll bar link is trailing.” With a 5min lead he's not too concerned and leaves the control to try and fix it. Esp: “No sé si golpeé algo pero vengo arrastrando la barra estabilizadora”. Con una ventaja de 5 minutos, el no está demasiado preocupado y se fue del control para intentar arreglarla. Fra: “Je ne sais pas si j’ai frappé quelque chose mais la barre stabilisatrice arrière traînait”. DOMÍNGUEZ, Diego / GALINDO, Eduardo Eng: “I´m happy , we have the right setup now, it was safe. It was a nice SS. We will just try to keep the car in one piece. This stage is like a moon walk for us.” Esp: “Estoy contento, tenemos una buena puesta a punto ahora, fue seguro. Fue un lindo PE. Solo trataremos de mantener el auto entero. El tramo es como una excursión lunar para nosotros.” Fra: “Je suis satisfait. Nous avons maintenant une bonne mise au point. C’était sûr. C’était une belle spéciale. Nous essayerons donc de faire attention à la voiture. FUCHS, Nicolás / MUSSANO, Fernando Eng: “It was amazing, very nice. I´ll try to go flat out in El Condor but the gap is too big. ” Esp: “Fue fantástico, muy lindo. Trataré de ir a fondo en El Cóndor pero la diferencia es muy grande.” Fra: “C’était super, très beau. SABA, Gustavo / CAGNOTTI, Diego Eng: The Skoda S2000 driver began the day fourth in WRC2, but stopped in SS 11. Esp: El piloto del Skoda S2000 comenzó el día cuatro en WRC2 pero se detuvo en el PE11. BERTELLI, Lorenzo / DOTTA, Mitia Eng: “We took no risk because the intercom was not working and I just wanted to get to the end. It was tricky. They were difficult conditions to drive. But nothing is bad with the car, it´s OK. There was much mud on the stage and it was difficult to drive.” Esp: “No corrimos ningún riesgo porque el intercom no estaba funcionando y solamente quería llegar al final. Fueron condiciones difíciles para manejar. Pero no hay nada malo con el auto, está ok.Había mucho barro en el tramo y se hizo difícil manejar.” Fra: “Nous n’avons pas couru des risques car l’intercom ne fonctionnait pas et je voulais tout simplement arriver au bout. C’étaient des conditions difficiles pour piloter mais rien de mauvais avec la voiture. Tout va bien.
