Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our local news reported on a dangerous game students of all ages are playing. The game played is a
“choking” game where students tap out or pass out. This is very dangerous and may lead to severe
outcomes. It was brought to our attention that some students may be playing this game here in our school
district.
Our goal at Somerton School District is to keep all students safe. It is critical that you speak to your child
about safety and that this “choking” game or any other dangerous game is not allowed at school. Severe
disciplinary actions from school and the law will be followed if a student is found guilty of participating in
unsafe activity.

Estimados Padres/Guardianes,
Nuestras noticias locales han reportado un juego muy peligroso que los alumnos de todas las edades estan
jugando. Es el juego de “ahogarse” o sofocarse donde los estudiantes se rinden o se desmayan. Esto es
muy peligroso y puede tener serias consequencias. Nos han reportado que es posible que algunos de
nuestros estudiantes de nuestra Distrito estan jugando este juego.
Nuestra meta en la Distrito de Somerton es mantener a todos los estudiantes sanos y salvos. Es critico
que usted hable con su hijo(a) acerca de su seguridad y que este juego o cualquier otro juego de alto
riesgo no esta permitido en la escuela. Se tomaran medidas rigurosas de diciplina y se aplicara la ley si un
estudiante se encuentra culpable de participar en actividades peligrosas.
