2014-15 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Registration for Calexico kindergarten students will be on going beginning Tuesday, April 8,
2014. Registration hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the school’s office. Parents
must bring copies of child’s birth certificate, completed immunization card, health
examination certificate for K-1 and proofs of residency (mortgage or rental contract, rental
receipt, and two current utility bills (electric, water or gas). A kindergartener must have their
5th birthday on or before September 2, 2014. However, if your child’s birthday falls between
September 2, 2014 and December 2, 2014 your child will be enrolled in Transitional
Kindergarten.

La inscripción para los estudiantes de kínder en Calexico será a partir del martes, 8 de abril
2014. El horario de inscripción será de 1:00 p.m. a 3:30 p.m. en la oficina de la escuela. Los
padres deben traer acta de nacimiento del niño/a, cartilla de vacunación actualizada,
certificado de examen físico para el K-1 y pruebas de residencia (hipoteca o contrato de
alquiler, recibo de alquiler, y dos facturas recientes de servicios públicos (electricidad, agua o
gas). El estudiante de kínder debe tener los 5 años en o antes del 2 de septiembre 2014. Sin
embargo, si el cumpleaños de su hijo se encuentra entre 2 de septiembre 2014 y 2 de diciembre
2014 su hijo será inscrito en el Kínder Transicional.
2014-15 DISTRICT CHANGE/CAMBIO DE DISTRITO
Calexico Unified will begin to accept Interdistrict Petitions starting April 8th for those students
who need to attend school in another district.
El Distrito Unificado de Calexico aceptará las peticiones de cambio de distrito a partir del 8
de abril.

The window to request Intradistrict Petitions will be opened on April 8th and closed on May
9th. Letters will be sent to the parents by May 27th with the result of their petition.
La ventana para pedir cambios de escuela dentro de nuestro distrito se abrirá el 8 de abril y
se cerrará el 9 de mayo. Se generaran cartas a los padres el 27 de mayo con la respuesta a
su petición.
