El Máster Universitario en Comunicación Intercultural, Interpretación y Traducción
en los Servicios Públicos de la Universidad de Alcalá
seleccionado de nuevo para formar parte de
la Red de Másteres Europeos en Traducción (EMT European Master’s in
Translation)
reconocidos por la Dirección General de Traducción de la Unión Europea.
Nuestro Máster pertenece a la Red de Másteres Europeos en Traducción desde el
año 2009. En 2014 la DGT organizó una segunda convocatoria para seleccionar a los
mejores candidatos en cuanto a programas de Traducción de Europa considerando
una serie de criterios que aseguren la calidad de estos programas de posgrado de
acuerdo con los estándares de la EMT. En junio de 2014, nuestro Máster ha vuelto a
ser seleccionado junto con otros 63 programas de un total de 114 candidatos de más
de 26 países europeos, para otros 5 años.
La EMT resalta los siguientes puntos fuertes de este programa formativo:

Colaboración entre el personal docente y los usuarios de TISP, lo que
permite a los alumnos adquirir la experiencia adecuada.
Un gran número de combinaciones lingüísticas que tiene en cuenta las
exigencias del mercado.
Adecuación del programa de prácticas orientado a la inserción laboral.

EMT: EUROPEAN MASTER’S IN TRANSLATION

MA in Intercultural Communication, Public Service Interpreting and Translation has
been chosen for the second time
to be part of the European Master’s in Translation (EMT) network,
a network of university programmes recognised by the EU Directorate-General for
Translation.
Our MA is part of the European Master’s in Translation network since 2009. In 2014,
the Directorate-General for Translation has organized a second call to select the the
best programmes of Translation in Europe, considering a set of specific criteria that
ensures the quality of these postgraduate programmes in accordance with the EMT
standards. In 2014, 64 European programmes have been chosen to join the EMT
network for the following 5 years, among a total number of 114 candidates from 26
European countries. Our MA programme, for the second time, is one of them!
The EMT underlined the following strengths of this training programme:

The cooperation between the teaching staff and the “users” of public
service translation and the possibility for students to have early hands-on
experience.
The impressive number of possible language combinations and its very
market-orientated focus.
The adequate Internships programme, aimed at students’ job placement.
