Rite for the Blessing of a Child in
the Womb
TODAY—All Masses (except 6:30am) May 8
The Church welcomes with joy and compassion the mothers
who, recognizing that all life is a gift from God, come to the
Church seeking a blessing for their unborn child. Such a
blessing sustains the parents by imparting grace and
comfort in time of concern and need, unites the parish in
prayer for the unborn child, and fosters respect for human
life within society.

constant protection and a healthy birth that is the sign of
your rebirth one day into the eternal rejoicing of

En filial amor a nuestra San sima madre, en nuestro deseo por la paz en el mundo y la conversión de los pecadores, los feligreses
están invitados a unirse a la devoción de la observación a los cinco primeros sábados del mes. La "Devoción a [María], la madre del
Señor es un elemento integral del culto Cris ano"— Papa Paul VI, en la exhortación apostólica, Marialis Cultus. “El Rosario, cuando
se reza de manera autén ca no mecánicamente ni superficialmente, sino profundamente, trae paz y reconciliación, Con ene el
poder sanador del Santo nombre de Jesús al invocarse cada Avemaría con fe & amor en el corazón." – Papa emérito Benedicto XVI,
Mayo ' 08. El 13 de Julio de 1917, en Fá ma, Portugal, "Nuestra Señora del Rosario" mostró a los tres videntes Lucía, Jacinta y
Francisco una visión del infierno, " a donde van las almas de los pobres pecadores." Ella dijo a los niños: "para salvarlos, Dios desea
establecer en el mundo la devoción a mi corazón inmaculado. Si hacen lo que he dicho, se salvarán muchas almas y habrá paz".
