The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, kindly addresses
to the President of the Republic of Chile, the message which was
received from Mr. Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, President of the
Islamic Republic of Iran, as follows:
" His Excellency
Patricio Aylwin Azocar
President of the Republic of Chile
I wish to extend my congratulations to Your Excellency and the
people of Chile on the occasion of the auspicious birth of Jesus
Christ (PBUH),the prophet of mercy, peace, justice and freedom and
on the New Year.
The guidelines and teachings of this great messenger of God
and the standard-bearer of the struggle against tyranny,
discrimination and unfaithfulness have been a blessing to direct
human beings and serve their interests and salvation.
I hope, in the New Year, all followers of this great prophet
would succeed in the obedience and worship of the Almighty God and
the high humane teachings of Jesus Christ (PBUH). I also hope we
will ah l witness the comprehensive cooperation of countries for the
erradication of tyranny and establishment of justice and salvation
for humanity.
I wish Your Excellency a year full of blessing, success and
happiness."
