CESDE ESCUELA DE INFORMÁTICA REGLAS DEL PRESENTE SIMPLE PRESENTE SIMPLE Es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para describir acciones habituales que suceden con cierta frecuencia y no hace referencia a si está ocurriendo en el momento actual. Por ejemplo: I play tennis. Yo juego al tenis. Hace mención de un deporte que se realiza cotidianamente y que no necesariamente lo estamos jugando en este momento. He works in an office. Él trabaja en una oficina. Se refiere al trabajo que desarrolla una persona frecuentemente. They travel to Madrid. Ellos viajan a Madrid. Habla de un viaje que se repite a diario, aunque el sujeto no lo esté realizando ahora. REGLAS ORACIONES AFIRMATIVAS Estas reglas sólo se aplican para oraciones afirmativas cuando se utilizan las terceras personas HE – SHE – IT Regla1. Si el verbo termina en O / SH / CH / SS / ZZ / X se agrega al verbo ES Por ejemplo: La estructura de las oraciones afirmativas: SUJETO + VERBO PRESENTE SIMPLE + COMPLEMENTO GO VERBO EN PRESENTE SIMPLE GOES You go to the office FIX FIXES You fix the car KISS KISSES I kiss my mother WATH WATCHES I watch TV VERBO EJEMPLO EJEMPLO TERCERA PERSONA She goes to the office He fixes the car She Kissess her mother He Watches TV CESDE ESCUELA DE INFORMÁTICA REGLAS DEL PRESENTE SIMPLE Regla 2. Si el verbo termina en Y precedida de consonante, se cambia la Y por I y se agrega ES Ejemplos: VERBO VERBO EN PRESENTE SIMPLE COPY COPIES STUDY STUDIES EJEMPLO You copy the letter You study English EJEMPLO TERCERA PERSONA She copies the letter He studies English Regla 3. El resto de terminaciones se le agrega la letra S Ejemplos: VERBO VERBO EN PRESENTE SIMPLE LIVE LIVES BUY BUYS EJEMPLO You live in Medellín You buy a Car EXCEPCIONES Para el presente simple se presentan dos excepciones: BE VERBO EN PRESENTE SIMPLE IS HAVE HAS VERBO EJEMPLO TERCERA PERSONA She lives in Medellín He buys a Car CESDE ESCUELA DE INFORMÁTICA REGLAS DEL PRESENTE SIMPLE REGLAS ORACIONES NEGATIVAS E INTERROGATIVAS Para oraciones negativas e interrogativas se utilizan los auxiliares: DO DOES I / YOU / THEY / WE HE / SHE / IT Cuando se utilizan los auxiliares DO/DOES el verbo no se le aplica ninguna regla, se coloca el verbo tal y como se escribe. NEGATIVAS: La estructura de las oraciones negativas: SUJETO + AUXILIAR NEGADO + VERBO + COMPLEMENTO Mary and Jhon don´t study english My Sister doesn´t do the homework The cat doesn´t play with the ball Observe que al utilizar el auxiliar DO/DOES, para cualquier persona, el verbo no se le aplica ninguna regla. INTERROGATIVAS: La estructura de las oraciones interrogativas: AUXILIAR + SUJETO + VERBO + COMPLEMENTO Do Mary and Jhon study English? Does My Sister do the homework? Does The cat play with the ball? Observe que al utilizar el auxiliar DO/DOES, para cualquier persona, el verbo no se le aplica ninguna regla.
