Copenhagen is a city with dense bicycle traffic. During rush hours it is especially important
to be aware of other people in the traffic. Here
are a couple of tips for getting around the city
by bicycle in a safe and comfortable way.
Copenhague es una ciudad con mucho tráfico
de bicicletas. Durante las horas pico es particularmente importante estar al pendiente de
otra gente en el tráfico. Aquí hay algunas sugerencias de cómo moverse por la ciudad con la
bicicleta de manera segura y cómoda:
#1 Keep right at all times
#2 Raise your hand up high before you stop
#3 Give hand signals to the left or right
before turning
#4 Watch over your left shoulder before
overtaking cyclists
#5 Always overtake other cyclists on the left
#6 Do not ride against the traffic flow or on
sidewalks/pavements, pedestrian crossings or pedestrian streets
#7 Cycling is not allowed in parks in central
Copenhagen
#8 To turn left at an intersection you must
first cross to the opposite right corner of
the intersection where you stop and wait
for the traffic light to change before
continuing
#9 A short ring on the bell is often a signal
that a cyclist wants to pass – so please
keep to the right
#10 From dusk to dawn, bicycles must be
equipped with bicycle lights front and rear
#11 It is prohibited to ride more than one
person on a bicycle unless it is a cargo
bike or a bicycle with child seat or a
bicycle trailer.

#1 Siempre quédate del lado derecho en el
carril de bicicletas
#2 Sube la mano para señalar antes de parar
#3 Señala con la mano izquierda o derecha
si quieres dar vuelta
#4 Mira sobre tu hombro izquierdo antes
de cambiar de carril/rebasar a otras
bicicletas
#5 Siempe rebasa a otras bicicletas por el
lado izquierdo
#6 No andes en sentido contrario o en el
pavimento, en los cruces de peatones o
en las calles peatonales
#7 No está permitido andar en bicicleta en
los parques del centro de Copenhague
#8 Para dar vuelta a la izquierda en un semáforo tienes que cruzar a la esquina opuesta del lado derecho, donde tienes que
parar y esperar el cambio del semáforo
antes de continuar
#9 Una señal breve con la campana frecuentemente indica que otra bicicleta quiere pasar – por favor, mantente del lado derecho
#10Del atardecer al amanecer las bicicletas
deben de estar equipadas con luces al
frente y atrás
#11 Está prohibido andar más de una persona
en una bicicleta, salvo que sea una bicicleta de carga o con asiento de niño o una
bicicleta con trailer.
