Jai Sai Ram!
We humbly offer this 22nd issue of Love Express at the lotus feet of our beloved Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
and pray to Him that He keeps inspiring, guiding and loving us the way He has done so far.
It is the new year. People often take on resolutions. Why should we all wait for the beginning of every year to
take on one or two resolutions which will help us? Every day is a new start for all of us. Make the most of your
life by doing what is right to yourself, everyone , and above all – God . We pray that this February 2011 edition
of Love Express inspires you to keep on doing the great work all of you are doing around the world! We wish you
all the best for all your upcoming events, activities and projects.

Message for the Youth of Europe
Dear Youth
The SSO in Europe is very lucky to have
such wonderful resources in its midst,
as you young people, with energy and
motivation to bring His message to the
people outside the SSO, but what is
more important with the determination
to transform your own lives.
Today, more than anything else, we need
a society, which practices value-based
living. Love is the keyword in all relationships whether it is at home, at work, or
when moving around in society. It is an
integral part of our existence. The values
are meaningless if they are not rooted in
love and lead us to see the basic unity of
mankind.
Sathya Sai explains: ‘Goodness means
good behavior, good conduct, good discipline and good character. Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Love and Non-violence are verily the five life principles of
man. Human life is a journey from ‘I’ to
‘We’. This journey is subtle and the goal
is very near, but man takes many births
to reach the destination.’
He continues: ‘All of you are very lucky as
you have the chance to shorten this journey by being called at such a young age.
Not only do you have the possibility to
transform your own life, and reach your
destination faster; you also have the
When love is practiced, we start to see
that all is one. We start to appreciate
every one – even those who make it
difficult for us – because we start to understand that they are just teaching us a
lesson. We develop understanding.
We begin to understand that our goal
is to create an atmosphere of love, an
environment of love where learning can
take place for all of us. Creating an environment of love is like when we connect
the computer to the Internet, only here
we create connection to the ‘Inner net’,
and immediate download takes place.
We become silent within and can listen
to the voice of God.
We need each other – like the finger of
the hand. Only together we can advance. And this togetherness is not separated by age. As Sathya Sai says: ‘One
who practices and propagates the ideals
such as goodness, morality and truth is
a youth in the strict sense of the term.’
So being a Youth is not a question about
age – it is a state of mind.
This is where we can meet in harmony
and work together. So all of us have work
to do – but together we are united – and
united we shall overcome and be able to
inspire. We are judged by our speech, by
our behavior and by our actions.

Suffering is part of Life, but we must
have faith, we must have self-confidence
– only then shall we overcome. This is
our responsibility. Sathya Sai says: ‘Have
faith in yourself, have faith in the work
you have set upon – even in spite of
signs of failure.’
Normally responsibility is connected to
rights, which again gives certain privileges. We can demand if our rights are
not fulfilled. But life is not a right – it is
a gift. We cannot claim that this life of
ours should carry any preferences. That
it should be without inconveniences and
discomfort. Today in society most people are talking about what are my rights?
Very few ask: What are my duties? Here
you can make a difference.
Spiritual responsibility is how we respond – and not in relation to the workload or importance of a position. How
do we respond to what is happening outside us and how do we respond to His
call from within?

life; to inspire and motivate them to

How can we inspire others? First and foremost by knowing ourselves. Knowing
that our true identity is the Love Energy within. He says: ‘the primary duty of
man is to understand who he really is’
and ‘the highest Sadhana is to transform
love into service. That is true devotion’.
What is devotion then? It is one-pointed
attention on the task performed. When
we devote ourselves to something or so-
The value of Life is Consciousness, and
Enlightened Leadership is a matter of
Heart, Mind and Soul. Today we are talking about ‘How to walk the talk’. Everybody wants change and they expect the
leaders to change and the Organizations
- they are part of - to change. Very few
ask ‘How can I change’. How can I become authentic?
Only when our actions match to our
words (and thoughts), can we be inspiring examples. Gandhi said: ‘Become the
change you wish to see in the world.’

LASA Update
LASA – Love All Serve All
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
After the Band experience in Prasanthi
in November, LASA is back in Europe to
work hard on the LASA Festival which
will take place from July 28th to 31st in
Geneva, Switzerland.
Since the end of November, the Organizing Committee of the Festival has been
meeting regularly in order to “build” this
wonderful event. The OC is made up of
representatives of all the LASA sections
-Arts, Music, Workshops & lectures, Service & environment, PR and Communication. Furthermore, we have people in
local culture, logistics and finance. The
Committee is doing its best to achieve
this goal.
But the force of this unique Festival
does not only rest with the Organizing
Committee. First and foremost, it rests
with all of you - youth who believe that
impossible is nothing and who are willing to take part in its preparations. For
that, we need your skills and strengths.
As the word TEAM reveals it, Together
Everyone Achieves More. Indeed, the
LASA Festival is the place where we can
experience team work, as we started to
do during the Sathya Sai Leadership Training Program (SSLTP) in Germany. This
was just the beginning. We must all continue together! Please get in touch with
your National Youth Coordinator if you
feel like joining in the team!
The SSLTP in Germany was also a magic
week, spent in the ''Silent House''. We
had the great opportunity to make a
video to wish a marvelous New Year to
all. LASA Films is creating a lot as you can
see! You probably have already watched
Inside, Out, the film which was made to
participate in the international competi-
tion NOTIMELEFT. It is a beautiful project
giving the opportunity to get mobilized
for the eight UN Millennium Development Goals. This LASA movie has been
selected among the 22 finalists. Even
though the competition‘s leader loved
the movie, we finally didn‘t get any prize.
Life is as it is, perfect.

more with you all as workers of Light for
the welfare of the world,

Sathya Sai Leadership Training Program in Zone 7
SSLTP Stilles Haus Bad Wildungen Deutschland

From the 27.12.2010 to the 1.01.2011
the second SSLTP seminar of Zone 7
took place in Stilles Haus near Bad Wildungen in central Germany. The seminar
covered modules 2 to 4 of the Sathya
Sai Leadership Training Program, which
unite academic and practical knowledge
about management with spiritual wisdom about leadership.
One of the topics which was discussed
during the seminar was: Sathya Sai Organisation vision and mission. It may
sound that it is too theoretical to think
about this, but it is very useful to have
our vision clarified and to remember it,
as it helps you to put your actions into
the right direction and not to be distracted by many unnecessary details. It is
also very important that while working
in team, all team members share a common vision and go towards the same
goal. Sometimes it allows us to sacrifice
our personal aims and to compromise something, because generally the success
achieved by spiritual teamwork is much
greater than our personal plans could
be. This was very strongly emphasized in
the module on Spiritual Team Work. In a
spiritual organisation, it is really important to learn how to work in a team while
being fully engaged in work, to share a
common vision, to express spiritual values and thereby to achieve unity. The SSO
provides many opportunities to practise spiritual team work. An important
aspect of team work is communication,
so the module on Spiritual Communication was also included into this seminar.
Although the word “communication” is
derived from the Latin word “communicare” (to make something common, to
unite, to share) and “communio” (feeling
of unity), sometimes we do not perceive
communication as a process leading to
unification. The solution for this is heart
to heart communication, which can be
characterized as way of intrapersonal
communication that has not only a clear
message, but more importantly, to enable us to see God in each other. Actually
in heart to heart communication there is
no other, as it is God in one of us communicating with the God in the other
person. As there is only one God, it is a
communication where unity is achieved,
where 1+1=1.
this seminar I experienced Swami’s love
and joy, I felt so happy and free. I cannot
believe that the seminar lasted six days,
as time passed by so quickly.
For me the seminar was very important
because of another reason. Since we
spoke so often about the vision of the
SSO and the seminar was held at the turn
of the year it was a great time for me to
think also about my personal vision considering my work for the SSO, and also
my professional life. It was something
I really needed, coming to the seminar
I felt a little bit confused as there had

follow. So for me seminar was a great opportunity to think of my personal vision
and clarify my doubts.

part in seminars like this, as they give
me the opportunity to spend time in a

As youth, Swami regards us very highly. He said in a discourse at the Second
World Youth Conference in Prashanti, on
the 18th november 1999: "Only young
men and women are capable of eradicating the evils prevailing in society" . And
though we may not feel like being in the
spotlight, it is said that we are the leaders of tomorrow.
Youth from zone 7 came together for a
Sathya Sai Leadership training program
at two instances. The first weekend started at great heights, literally. In a castleturned-youth-hostel in Heppenheim,
Germany, we met on the tenth floor. The
many stairs we had to go up and down
many times a day became a Sadhana
(spiritual practice) by itself! In the short
time of 2 long days, we were guided
along familiar personal questions like:
who am I, what is my purpose on Earth
and where am I going? Even more personal is the inquiry we all have to make:
are we doing everything in our power to
reach our goal? Are we ready to serve
Swami, to be Him?
With the notion that we often bring baggage from the past with us that keeps
us far from the one Truth, we were encouraged to delve deep within ourselves, and see what baggage we can leave
behind. After that, I took the courage to
cast off the old, but also recognized it as
an ongoing exercise.
I found out the next time we met how
necessary of an exercise this was. It was
an empowering week, in the stillness of
the snow-covered landscape around the
Stilles Haus, again in Germany. We were
motivated through examples of Swami’s
life and mission that we can do anything
if we have firm determination. Topics like
planning, communication, teamwork,
and the power of thoughts were discussed. But to me, the most important
was the idea of Being. We do not have
to tell or show others what we learned,
we have to Be the beacons of light that
Swami wants us to be.
To become leaders of tomorrow we
need to be good students now. This may
seem to be a big task. However, Swami
makes it easy: "... in spirituality there is
only one subject and that is love."

European Updates

Dear brothers and sisters,
In December and January, the French
youth activities were filled with a variety
of actions and by some “Sai community
life”. There were a variety of actions, as
we dedicated time to do both devotional activities and the LASA project. We
started youth Bhajan sessions that we
had stopped. We also ended the cycle
of Study circles on the Ceiling on desires programme. Now, we are striving to
really put into practice the outcomes of
those study circles as part of our personal Sadhana, and all the more so as part
of the youth activities. This applies especially to LASA, as it requires health, time,
money and energy! For LASA, the musicians continued to work on the creation
of music for our upcoming French LASA
song. For the wildlife exhibition, our
concept has changed a bit. We will not
only exhibit 25 framed photos, but many
more and in different styles. That is why
we are still working on the pictures.
“Sai Community life” was shared with
some youth from Zone 6 and 7. I had
the marvellous opportunity to go to the
“Stilles Haus” (Silent House), in Germany, from December 26th 2010 to January 1st 2011 for the continuation of the
SSLTP in Zone 7. We spent a divine week
in the middle of omnipresent silence,
snow and trees. The German Seva team
dedicated time to cook for us. As for the
youth, we got busy working on the importance of thoughts as seeds of our life
experiences, heart to heart communication and team work. We did not only study – we had a great time, outdoors and
indoors, walking snowy roads, and a lot
of laughing was involved for well-being
of our souls!
Let’s laugh at least once a day! It makes
life shiny!

Youth for the needy
On Sunday the 19th of December 2010,
the Sathya Sai Group of Sopron organised a food- and clothes distribution for
the poor and homeless people in the city
of Sopron. Sopron is a small town, with
over 100 homeless people, and there are
more and more families living under the
poverty line – just like in other parts of
the world.
This is the reason why we consider this
case as a labour of love, to help our fellow being every year, before Christmas
time. We would like to inspire non-devotees living in our city through these
programs. I hope more and more countrymen realize how easy and nice is to
help and take care of others.
This was the third time we organized a
project like that, and we were able to
help a total of 70-80 persons in need.
At the beginning, I thought it would be
impossible to organize such a series of
events. By following Swami’s teachings I
learnt that one can complete any achievement, if guarded by a pure heart and
faith.
I realized that if I have good intentions
and make an effort, Swami always helps
and sends brothers and sisters to realize
my plans. The same happened on the
food distribution: we were 12, and everybody did their best to participate and
help. Volunteers cooked hot meals, prepared sandwiches, cakes and tea.
Swami always emphasizes that we
should love His uncertainty. This time we
could practise this teaching. Even though
despite a lot of offers we had received,
we couldn’t get any vehicle to transport
the offerings (food and drinks) to the
spot.
Finally, as usual, Swami sent a selfless
brother, who offered his car; in addition
he helped in the food distribution.
We were very happy that two bakeries
and one restaurant also offered their
own products for this beneficial purpose. This was just another proof for me,
that basically people are good and helpful towards others.
Several non-devotees informed us, that
they liked the program very much, so
they will consider organizing a similar
project in the future.
Through this food and clothes distribution, we not only helped the needy, but
we have made an impact in our environment as well, as something has started
in the bottom of the hearts of the citizens of our hometown. I hope we sowed
a seed, the seed of a better future, when
people help and take care of each other
– not only on holy days.

Sai Activity in the Netherlands
In the second week of December 2010
we decided to organize a Seva day
instead of a regular national youth day.
We received a very challenging offer
through a Christian volunteer organization. There was an old lady who desired to
change the old carpet floor of her apartment into a laminate (wooden) floor.
Most of the youth [four out of five]
didn’t have any experience with laminate flooring. The challenging part was
that we all had to complete this task that
same day. Also we kept in mind that we
had to deliver quality work.
Besides the youth, another volunteer
was involved that day. As he was experienced in laminate flooring he taught us
the way to laminate properly. This was
very intense as you can imagine!
The final result was very lovely. The
house owner pointed out that the look
of the entire living room had changed
because of the new laminate flooring.
She sounded very pleased.
It was very nice to do this form of Seva.
We learned how to laminate flooring
which can be useful in the future. And
overall it felt very fulfilling to have helped the lady, who was really delighted!
Something to notice
A couple of youth weren’t able to join
the Seva day because they were surprisingly involved with another laminate
flooring project. Somehow, the youth
who actually wanted to join the Seva
day, but couldn’t attend, were busy with
laminate flooring!

First and foremost we would like to express our gratitude to all the Sai youth
that we've been blessed to work with in
2010. We had the time of our life! Thank
you Swami.
We would like to share with you last
year’s insights and revelations:
1. The real joy (at work) comes from
team work and real team spirit. It can
be best described in a following way:
cooperation, putting others first, sharing, helping, positive attitude, pleasant
thoughts, feelings and deeds which are
in alignment with our divinity.
And the prescription: Love all, serve all!
2. When things don’t go your way, show
understanding and patience – do not allow yourself any stressful thoughts.
The prescription: surrender, trust and
accept. This is the mantra that Phyllis
Krystal is repeating again and again –
God knows how right she (He) is!
stressed.
Therefore we need to cut the ties from
the word 'deadline' in order to be in
alignment with divine timing and divine
deadlines.
Enjoy and share this God given time in
peace, love and understanding!

The Youth from Geneva Switzerland are
working hard on the ceiling on desires
program. Our current goal is not to get
angry until Shivrathri. If anyone does get
angry, he has to say Sairam. This will allow us to keep our monkey mind under
control. In the month of February, we are
also starting an online Skype Vedam tutorial where the Sai Students who live in
Switzerland will coach the youth 1 on 1
on a weekly basis. We are also expecting
the LASA team to come join us in Geneva
during the 2nd weekend of February for
the LASA Festival preparations.

Story time
A story about four people:
Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it but Nobody
did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realised
that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Baba’s car gets pranams
One day in the mountains Kodaikanal, Baba's red Mercedes came down to the main road. My family and other devotees
were across the lake about a kilometer away. As soon as Baba's car came on to the main road, we stood up and held our
hands together as a mark of respect. People lined up on either side of the road holding their hands together, paying their
respects to Baba in the red Mercedes. As the car passed, they realized that Baba was not in the car. He was in the bus with
the students, and he said, "See the car is getting all the pranams. The reason is that the car kept company of God and today
though the car is going alone, all the devotees are offering their pranams to the car, i.e. you are judged by the company you
keep. But, I am missing all the pranams because I am with you."

Eye for an eye makes the world blind
(True story that shows how a positive
reaction to a negative action can bring
amazing results).
A small boy at summer camp received a
large package of cookies in the mail from
his mother. He ate a few, then placed the
remainder under his bed. The next day,
after lunch, he went to his tent to get a
cookie. The box was gone.
That afternoon a camp counselor, who
had been told of the theft, saw another
boy sitting behind a tree eating the stolen cookies. "That young man," he said
to himself, "must be taught not to steal."
He returned to the group and sought out
the boy whose cookies had been stolen.
"Billy," he said, "I know who stole your
cookies. Will you help me teach him a
lesson?"
"Well, yes--but aren't you going to punish him?" asked the puzzled boy.
"No, that would only make him resent
and hate you," the counselor explained.
"I want you to call your mother and ask
her to send you another box of cookies."
The boy did as the counselor asked and
a few days later received another box of
cookies in the mail.

divine experiences
I was born in an obscure village in North
Travancore when the nineteenth century had still three years and a few days
to run. I had my schooling in the Cochin
State under a great Headmaster who
had met Swami Vivekananda and who
lit in our little lamps the flame of prayer and contrition. I attended College at
Trivandrum and, after finishing my M.A.
and B.L., I secured a job as Lecturer in
History at a college in Mysore.
The country boat, in which I, my wife
and my mother journeyed along the canals and backwaters of the West Coast
on the first lap of the trip to catch the
train at Ernakulum, was halted past
midnight in the middle of a dark backwater by a Coast Guard, who shouted
orders from the shore. He called out in
the black night, "Where are you going?"
and waited for an answer. My boatman
had a fine sense of humor. He shouted
back, "We are going to Mysore!" (We all
knew Mysore was inland!) The Coast Guard did not reprimand him for his impertinence, for he, too, was in a humorous
mood. He laughed and asked, "Why do
you say Mysore? Don't you know a place
beyond Mysore?"
Little did we know then, that there was a
place beyond Mysore, a couple of hundred miles to the north of that City, a place
called Puttaparthi which was to provide
us harborage from the turbulent storms
of the sea. There I was to get the Teacher
I wanted, when my career as a university
teacher and principal was about to come
to a close.
Yogi Suddhananda Bharathi, the famous
mystic poet of Tamilnad, said, in April
1959 when addressing a religious conference at Venkatagiri Town over which Sri
Sathya Sai Baba presided, "I have practiced Yoga for over 50 years; I once observed the vow of silence continuously for
over 20 years; I have come in contact
with Sri Shirdi Baba, Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri Aurobindo, Sri Meher Baba and
others; now, as a result of all this discipline, I have met Sri Sathya Sai Baba."
I served as the Secretary of the Sri Ramakrishna Mission at Mysore for over
seventeen years; I came in contact with
Sri Siddharooda Swami, Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri Meher Baba and Sri Narayana Guru; I was initiated into Japam, the
recitation of the Name of the Lord, by
Mahapurushji, the direct disciple of Sri
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, and President of the Mission; and I am now convinced that, as a result of all this, I sat at
the Feet of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 1948.
After I retired from the service of the
University of Mysore, I have since rejoiced in Baba's Presence, except for a
short period when I worked with All India Radio as a producer. I have had the
good fortune of mingling with many of
His devotees who have had longer and
closer associations with Him. I have
availed myself of every opportunity of

Chef’s Corner
Sensational Veggie Burger
Ingredients (4 servings):
What you need:
1/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 cup fresh corn kernels or frozen, thawed
6 mushrooms, finely chopped
2 scallions, finely chopped
1/2 red bell pepper, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon cumin
Dash cayenne pepper
1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach
1 carrot, peeled and grated
1 small potato, peeled and grated
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs

1. In a large skillet heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium high heat. Stir in corn, mushrooms, scallions, and bell pepper. Cook for 3-4
minutes. Add garlic, cumin and cayenne and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and stir in spinach. Add carrot and potato and
stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper (and chili powder if you can handle it).
2. Stir in enough bread crumbs so that the mixture holds together. Shape mixture into 4 disks and place on a plate.
3. Chill for 1 hour.
4. Lightly oil a non-stick skillet and cook veggie burgers until golden on each side.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas de Europa, ¡Jai Sai Ram!
Humildemente ofrecemos este número 22 del Amor Exprés a los pies de loto de nuestro bien
amado Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba y le pedimos que continúe inspirándonos, guiándonos y
amándonos como hasta ahora lo ha hecho.
Es año nuevo. Con frecuencia la gente toma determinaciones en estas fechas. ¿Por qué
tendríamos que esperar a que cada año comience para tomar una o dos determinaciones que
nos ayudaran? Cada día es un nuevo comienzo para todos nosotros. Aprovechad vuestras
vidas al máximo haciendo lo que es correcto para vosotros mismos, para todos y por encima de
todo -para Dios. ¡Rezamos para que esta edición de febrero 2011 de Amor Exprés os inspire a
continuar haciendo el gran trabajo que todos estáis haciendo alrededor del mundo! Os

Queridos jóvenes
La OSS de Europa es muy afortunada por contar con recursos tan maravillosos como vosotros, jóvenes, con energía
y motivación para llevar su mensaje a personas que no pertenecen a la OSS y, lo que es más importante aún, con la
determinación de transformar vuestras propias vidas.
Hoy día, más que ninguna otra cosa, necesitamos una sociedad que practique un vivir basado en los valores. El
Amor es la llave en todas las relaciones tanto si es en el hogar, en el trabajo o cuando nos movemos en la sociedad.
Forma parte integral de nuestra existencia. Los valores no tienen sentido si no están enraizados en el Amor y si no
nos llevan a ver la unidad básica de la humanidad.
Cuando se practica el Amor, comenzamos a ve que todo es uno. Comenzamos a apreciar a todo el mundo incluso a
aquellos que nos lo ponen difícil –porque comenzamos a entender que sencillamente están enseñándonos una
lección. Desarrollamos comprensión.
Comenzamos a entender que nuestra meta es crear una atmosfera de amor, un entorno de amor donde el aprender
tenga un lugar para todos nosotros. Crear un entorno de amor es como cuando conectamos el ordenador a internet,
solo que aquí creamos la conexión a la ―red interna‖, e inmediatamente se produce una descarga. Nos volvemos
más silenciosos en nuestro interior y podemos escuchar entonces la voz de Dios.
Nos necesitamos los unos a los otros –como los dedos de la mano. Solo juntos podemos avanzar. Y esta unidad no
está separada por la edad. Como dice Sathya Sai: ―EL que practica y propaga los ideales tales como la bondad, la
moralidad y la verdad es un joven en el sentido estricto del término‖. Así pues, ser joven no es una cuestión de edad
–es un estado mental.
Este es punto de partida a partir del cual podemos tener un encuentro armonioso y trabajar juntos. Así que todos
tenemos trabajo que hacer –pero juntos estamos unidos- y unidos venceremos y seremos capaces de inspirar.
Somos juzgados por nuestra forma de hablar, nuestro comportamiento y nuestras acciones.
Sathya Sai nos explica: ―Bondad significa buen comportamiento, buena conducta, buena disciplina y buen carácter.
Verdad, Acción Correcta, Paz y No Violencia son verdaderamente los 5 principios vitales del hombre. La vida
humana es un viaje desde el ‗yo‘ al ‗nosotros‘. Este es un viaje sutil y la meta está muy cerca, pero el hombre
requiere de muchos nacimientos para llegar al destino‖.
Y continua diciendo: ―Todos vosotros sois muy afortunados pues tenéis la oportunidad de acortar este viaje al ser
llamados como tales a tan temprana edad. No solo tenéis la oportunidad de transformar vuestra propia vida y llegar
a vuestro destino más rápido, también tenéis la oportunidad de influir en la vida de otras personas; inspirarlas y
motivarlas a cambiar su destino viviendo los Valores Humanos.‖
¿Cómo podemos inspirar a otros? Lo primero y más importante es conoceros a vosotros mismos. Saber que vuestra
verdadera identidad es la Energía de Amor interior. El dice: ―EL primordial deber del hombre es entender quien es
realmente‖ y ―el sadhana más elevado es transformar el amor en servicio. Esa es la verdadera devoción‖. ¿Qué es
entonces devoción? ES una atención centrada en la tarea realizada. Cuando nos consagramos/dedicamos a algo o
a alguien, le damos nuestra completa atención y nuestro corazón se encariña con ello. Esto no significa que no
habrá retos y que no vayamos a experimentar la frustración cuando no tengamos éxito.
El sufrimiento forma parte de la vida, pero hemos de tener fe, debemos tener autoconfianza –solo entonces
triunfaremos. Esta es nuestra responsabilidad. Sathya Sai dice: ―Tened fe en vosotros mismos, tened fe en aquello
en lo que os habéis puesto a trabajar –aunque haya signos de fracaso.‖
Normalmente la responsabilidad está conectada con derechos, la cual a su vez da ciertos privilegios. Podemos
demandar nuestros derechos si estos no están satisfechos. Pero la vida nos es un derecho-es un regalo. No
podemos reclamar que esta vida nuestra debería tener algunas preferencias, que debería ser sin inconvenientes e
incomodidades. Hoy en día en la sociedad la mayoría de la gente habla sobre ―cuáles son mis derechos‖. Muy pocos
preguntan: ―¿Cuáles son mis obligaciones? Aquí vosotros podéis hacer la diferencia.
La responsabilidad espiritual esta en el cómo respondemos –y no en relación a la cantidad de trabajo o importancia
de una posición. Cómo respondemos a lo que está sucediendo en nuestro exterior y como respondemos a Su
llamada en nuestro interior.
Lo valioso de la vida es la Conciencia Universal, y un Liderazgo Iluminado es una cuestión de Corazón, Mente y
Alma. Hoy en día hablamos de ―Predicar con el ejemplo‖. Todo el mundo el mundo quiere cambiar y espera que los
líderes cambien y que las Organizaciones – de las que forman parte- cambien. Muy pocos preguntan: ―¿Cómo
puedo cambiar yo?‖ ¿Cómo puedo llegar a ser auténtico-a?‖
Solo cuando nuestras acciones se correlacionen con nuestras palabras (y pensamientos), podemos ser ejemplos
inspiradores. Gandhi dijo, ―Conviértete en el cambio que deseas ver en el mundo‖. Esto es lo que yo deseo para
todos vosotros.

LASA-Love All Serve All (Ama a todos, sirve a todos)
Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Tras la experiencia del Grupo en Prasanthi en noviembre, LASA vuelve a Europa para trabajar
duro en el Festival LASA que tendrá lugar desde el 18 al 31 de julio en Ginebra, Suiza.
Desde fines de noviembre, el Comité de Organización del Festival se ha reunido regularmente
para ―construir‖ este precioso evento. El CO está compuesto por representantes de todas las
secciones LASA –artes, música, talleres y charlas, servicio y medioambiente, RP y
comunicación. Además, contamos con gente para la cultura local, logística y financiación. El
Comité está haciendo todo lo que puede para conseguir este objetivo.
Pero la fuerza de este Festival único no sólo yace en el Comité de Organización. Primero y
ante todo, yace en todos vosotros –vosotros que pensáis que nada es imposible y que estáis
deseando tomar parte en sus preparativos. Para ello necesitamos vuestras habilidades y
fortalezas. Como la palabra TEAM (equipo) revela, Together (juntos) Everyone (todos)
Achieves (logra) More (más) (todos juntos conseguimos más). De hecho, el Festival LASA es el
lugar donde podemos experimentar el trabajo en equipo, como comenzamos a hacer durante el
Programa de Formación en Liderazgo Sai (SSLTP, en inglés) en Alemania. Este tan sólo fue el
inicia. ¡Todos nosotros debemos continuar juntos! ¡Por favor, poneros en contacto con vuestros
Coordinadores Nacionales de Jóvenes si os gustaría uniros al equipo!
El SSLTP en Alemania también fue una semana mágica, en la ―Casa del Silencio‖. Tuvimos la
gran oportunidad de hacer un vídeo para desearos un maravilloso Año Nuevo a todos vosotros.
¡LASA-cine está produciendo muchos films como podéis ver! Probablemente ya hayáis visto
Dentro, Fuera, la película que se filmó para participar en el concurso internacional
NOTIMELEFT. Es un proyecto precioso dar la oportunidad de movilizarse por los ocho
Objetivos del Milenio de la ONU. Esta película LASA ha sido seleccionada entre las 22
finalistas. Aunque al líder del concurso le encantaba la película, finalmente no conseguimos
ningún premio. La vida es como es, perfecta.

“… debéis tomar las riendas del liderazgo y traer la paz y prosperidad a la
nación llevando vidas ejemplares”

Del 27-12-2010 al 1-01-2011, tuvo lugar el segundo seminario SSLTP de la Zona 7 en Stilles
Haus, próximo a Bad Wildungen en el centro de Alemania. El seminario abarcó los módulos del 2 al 4 del
Programa Sathya Sai en Formación al Liderazgo, unificando conocimientos académicos y prácticos
sobre la administración del liderazgo con sabiduría espiritual.
Uno de los temas que se debatieron durante el seminario fueron: Visión y misión de la
Organización Sathya Sai. Puede parecer muy teórico pensar en esto, pero es muy útil tener una visión
clara y recordarlo, ya que nos ayuda a llevar nuestras acciones en una dirección correcta y no
distraernos con detalles innecesarios. Es importante que durante el trabajo en equipo todos los
componentes compartan una misma visión y compartan el mismo objetivo. Esto nos permite en
ocasiones, sacrificar nuestras propias metas y transigir, ya que el éxito conseguido mediante el trabajo
espiritual en equipo es mayor que nuestros planes personales. En el módulo de Trabajo Espiritual en
Equipo se destacó este aspecto. En una organización espiritual, es muy importante aprender a trabajar
en equipo, a estar totalmente comprometido con el trabajo, a compartir una visión común, a expresar
valores espirituales y, por tanto, a lograr la unidad. La Organización Sathya Sai proporciona las
oportunidades para practicar el trabajo espiritual en equipo. La comunicación es un aspecto importante
del trabajo en equipo, por lo que el módulo de la Comunicación Espiritual se incluyó en este
seminario. Aunque la palabra ―comunicación‖ procede del latín ―communicare‖ (hacer algo en común,
unificar, compartir) y de ―communio‖ (sentimiento de unidad), a veces no percibimos la comunicación
como proceso que nos lleva a la unificación. La solución está en la comunicación de corazón a corazón,
que se puede describir como un medio para la comunicación intrapersonal, que no solo tiene un mensaje
claro sino que además nos permite ver a Dios en los demás. En realidad, la comunicación de corazón a
corazón no es otra cosa que el Dios dentro de nosotros comunicándose con el Dios de la otra persona.
Y como sólo hay un Dios, es una comunicación donde se logra la Unidad, donde 1+1 =1.
Las presentaciones se enriquecieron con ejercicios prácticos y actividades creativas, para
adquirir, además de conocimientos teóricos, experiencia de lo que se estaba aprendiendo. Ivan Bavcevic
presentó prácticamente la totalidad el programa, aunque algunos temas fueron presentados por: Jirka
Blazek, Luciano Cantone, Mathias Seitel, Pieter Stolk y Tomas Bures.
Siempre me alegra participar en seminarios de este tipo, ya que me permite pasar tiempo en un
ambiente de felicidad y alegría. Durante este seminario, pude experimentar el amor y felicidad de Swami,
me sentí feliz y libre. No puedo creer que durara seis días y que el tiempo pasara tan rápido.
El seminario fue para mí muy importante por otro motivo. A menudo tratamos el tema de la visión
de la Organización Sathya Sai y ya que el seminario tuvo lugar durante el cambio de año, fue un
momento en que pude reflexionar sobre mi visión desde el punto de vista de mi trabajo en la OSS y
también sobre mi vida profesional.
Acudir al seminario era algo que realmente necesitaba, me sentía confusa ya que había habido un
cambio muy importante en mi vida profesional y no sabía qué dirección tomar. Por lo que para mi, el
seminario fue una gran oportunidad para pensar en mi visión personal y clarificar mis dudas.
Creo que fue una manera estupenda de comenzar el año.

Como jóvenes, Swami nos tiene en muy alta consideración. En un discurso de la Segunda
Conferencia Mundial de Jóvenes, el 18 de noviembre de 1999 dijo: ―sólo los hombres y mujeres jóvenes
son capaces de erradicar los males de esta sociedad‖. Y aunque no queramos ser foco de atención, se
dice que somos los líderes del futuro.
Los jóvenes de la zona 7 se reunieron para el Programa Sathya Sai de Formación en Liderazgo
en dos ocasiones. El primer fin de semana comenzó literalmente en las alturas. Nos reunimos en la
planta décima de un castillo convertido en albergue juvenil, en Heppenheim, Alemania. ¡¡¡La cantidad de
veces al día que tuvimos que subir y bajar las escaleras llegó a convertirse en práctica espiritual!!! En el
corto período de dos días, fuimos adentrándonos en preguntas personales como:¿quién soy?, ¿qué
finalidad tengo en la Tierra? y ¿hacia dónde voy? La pregunta que todos debemos hacernos es aún más
personal: ¿estamos haciendo todo lo posible para conseguir nuestro objetivo? ¿Estamos preparados
para servir a Swami, para ser ÉL?
Con el conocimiento de que solemos traer cargas del pasado que nos mantienen lejos de la Verdad, se
nos animó a ahondar en nosotros mismos y ver qué cargas podíamos dejar atrás. Después, tomé la
valentía necesaria para desechar dichas cargas, aunque también reconocí que es un ejercicio para
realizar continuamente.
La siguiente vez que nos reunimos, me di cuenta de lo imprescindible que es este ejercicio. Fue una
semana enriquecedora, en el silencio de un entorno cubierto de nieve en Stilles Haus, otra vez en
Alemania. La vida y misión de Swami, fue lo que nos motivó a que podemos hacer cualquier cosa si
tenemos la firme convicción. Debatimos temas como la planificación, comunicación, trabajo en equipo y
el poder del pensamiento. Pero para mí, lo más importante era la idea del Ser. No hemos de decir o
mostrar a los demás lo que hemos aprendido, hemos de ser los faros de luz que Swami quiere que
seamos.
Para ser líderes del mañana, hemos de ser buenos estudiantes hoy. Esto puede parecer una tarea
ardua. Aunque Swami lo hace fácil ―… en la espiritualidad, sólo hay una asignatura, y es el Amor‖

Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Estos meses Diciembre y Enero, las actividades de nuestra juventud francesa fueron completas con una
gran variedad de cosas hechas y por varias ―Vida en comunidad Sai‖. Ha habido una gran variedad de
actividades, ya que dedicamos tiempo tanto a actividades devocionales como al proyecto LASA.
Empezamos de nuevo las sesiones juveniles de Bhajans que habíamos dejado de hacer. También
acabamos el Círculo de Estudios con el programa ―Techo a los deseos‖. Realmente, ahora, nos estamos
esforzando en poner en práctica los resultados de esos Círculos de Estudio como parte de nuestro
Sadhana, y aún más como parte de nuestras actividades. Esto se aplica concretamente a LASA, ya que
requiere salud, tiempo, dinero y… ¡energía! Para LASA, los músicos continuaron trabajando en la
creación musical de nuestra próxima canción. Para la exposición de fauna y flora, nuestro tema ha
cambiado un poco. No sólo mostraremos 25 fotos, sino muchas más y en diferentes estilos. Por eso aún
no estamos trabajando en las imágenes.
―Vida en comunidad Sai‖ fue compartido con algunos jóvenes de las zonas 6 y 7. Tuve la estupenda
oportunidad de ir al ―Stilles Haus‖ (Casa Silenciosa), en Alemania, desde el 26 de diciembre de 2010
hasta el 1 de enero de 2011 para continuar con el Programa Sathya Sai de Formación en Liderazgo
(SSLTP), en la zona 7. Pasamos una semana fantástica en medio del silencio omnipresente, entre
árboles y nieve. El equipo de seva alemán se dedicó a cocinar para nosotros. En cuanto a los jóvenes,
estuvimos ocupados trabajando la importancia de los pensamientos que acabaron siendo semillas de
nuestras experiencias, de nuestra comunicación de corazón a corazón y del trabajo en equipo. No sólo
estudiamos – ¡pasamos momentos geniales, al aire libre, al cerrado, caminando por caminos nevados y
por un montón de risas que influyeron en el bienestar de nuestras almas!
¡Riamos al menos una vez al día! ¡Que eso hace que brille la vida!

Juventud para los necesitados
El domingo 19 de diciembre del 2010, el grupo Sathya Sai de Sopron organizó una distribución de
alimentos y ropas para los pobres y sin techo de su ciudad. Sopron es una pequeña población, con cerca
de 100 personas sin hogar y donde cada vez más familias viven por debajo del límite de pobreza –como
ocurre en otros lugares del mundo.
Ese es el motivo por el cual consideramos este caso como una labor de amor, ayudar a nuestro prójimo
todos los años, antes de la época de Navidad. Queríamos inspirar a los no devotos que viven en la
ciudad a través de esos programas. Espero que cada vez más personas descubran lo fácil y agradable
que es ayudar y cuidar de los demás.
Esta fue la tercera vez que organizamos un proyecto de este tipo, y en total pudimos ayudar a unas 70 u
80 personas necesitadas.
Al principio, pensé que sería imposible organizar esos eventos. Siguiendo las enseñanzas de Swami
aprendí que uno puede alcanzar cualquier objetivo si posee fe y un corazón puro.
Me di cuenta de que si tenemos buenas intenciones y hacemos un esfuerzo, Swami siempre nos ayuda y
envía hermanos y hermanas para materializar nuestros planes. Lo mismo ocurrió en la distribución de
alimentos: éramos 12 y todo el mundo participaba y ayudaba lo mejor que sabía. Los voluntarios
prepararon comidas calientes, sándwiches, bollos y té.
Swami siempre insiste en que tenemos que amar su incertidumbre. En esa ocasión, pudimos poner en
práctica su enseñanza. A pesar de la cantidad de ofertas que recibimos, no conseguimos ningún
vehículo para transportar las ofrendas (alimentos y bebidas) hasta el lugar de distribución.
Al final, como de costumbre, Swami nos envió un hermano altruista que ofreció su coche y además nos
ayudó a repartir la comida.
Estábamos muy contentos porque dos panaderías y un restaurante también ofrecieron sus propios
productos para el servicio desinteresado. Eso fue otra prueba más de que las personas son
esencialmente buenas y solidarias con los demás.
Muchos no-devotos nos dijeron que les había gustado mucho el programa y que organizarían eventos
semejantes en el futuro.
A través de la distribución de ropas y alimentos, no solo ayudamos a los necesitados sino también
causamos impacto en nuestro entorno, algo surgió en el fondo de los corazones de los ciudadanos de
nuestra ciudad natal. Espero que hayamos sembrado una semilla, la semilla de un futuro mejor, cuando
las personas se ayuden y se cuiden entre todas – no solo en épocas festivas.

Durante la segunda semana de diciembre del 2010, decidimos organizar un día de Seva en vez del
tradicional día nacional de la juventud.
Recibimos una oferta desafiante a través de una organización Cristiana de voluntarios. Había una señora
mayor que quería cambiar el viejo suelo enmoquetado de su piso por un suelo con tarima.
La mayoría de los jóvenes (4 de los 5) no tenían experiencia con suelos de tarima. El desafío era que
todos debíamos terminar el trabajo el mismo día. También teníamos en mente que debíamos hacer un
trabajo de calidad.
Además de los jóvenes, otro voluntario estaba participando ese día. Como tenía experiencia con ese tipo
de suelo, nos enseñó cómo hacerlo de manera adecuada. ¡Fue más intenso de lo que os podéis
imaginar!
El resultado final fue encantador. La propietaria de la casa nos dijo que el aspecto de todo el salón había
cambiado gracias al nuevo suelo. Estaba muy satisfecha.
Fue muy gratificante hacer ese tipo de seva. Aprendimos a colocar tarimas, lo que puede ser muy útil en
el futuro. Y, lo más importante, ¡nos sentimos muy satisfechos por haber ayudado a la señora, que
estaba muy feliz!
Algo para destacar
Dos jóvenes no pudieron participar en ese seva porque inesperadamente se vieron implicados en otro
proyecto de colocación de tarimas. De una manera u otra, los jóvenes que querían participar en el seva
aunque no pudieron acudir, ¡estuvieron ocupados colocando tarimas!

Nos gustaría compartir los aprendizajes y revelaciones de los últimos años
1. La verdadera alegría (en el trabajo) viene del trabajo en equipo y del verdadero espíritu de
equipo. Se puede explicar mejor de la siguiente manera: cooperar, poner a los demás en primer
lugar, compartir, ayudar, tener actitud positiva, buenos pensamientos, sentimientos y acciones
nos hacen estar en sintonía con nuestra divinidad. Y la receta: Amar a todos, servir a todos!
2. Cuando las cosas no salen como planeado, hemos de tener comprensión y paciencia – no
podemos tener pensamientos estresantes. La receta: entrega, confianza y aceptación. Ese es el
mantra que Phyllis Krystal está repitiendo siempre - ¡Dios sabe lo acertada que está!
Y nuestras resoluciones de año nuevo
Queremos estar más en contacto con nuestra divinidad, ser más eficientes, bienaventurados y menos
estresados. Por eso, necesitamos cortar lazos con el término “fecha tope” para sincronizarnos con el
tempo divino y las fechas tope divinas.
Disfrutad y compartid este tiempo dado por Dios en paz, amor y comprensión!

Sairam queridos todos,
Los jóvenes de Ginebra estamos trabajando duro en el programa de límite a los deseos. Nuestro objetivo
actual es no enfadarnos hasta Shivrathri. Si alguien se enfada, tiene que decir Sairam. Esto nos permitirá
mantener nuestra mente de mono bajo control. En el mes de febrero, también estamos empezando un
tutorial online Vedam, por el Skype, en el que, cada semana, los Estudiantes Sai que viven en Suiza
formarán a los jóvenes uno por uno. También estamos esperando al equipo LASA que se unirá a
nosotros en Ginebra en la segunda semana de febrero para los preparativos del festival LASA.

Había un trabajo importante que hacer y Todos estaba seguro de que Alguien lo haría. Cualquiera lo
podía haber hecho, pero Nadie lo hizo. Alguien se enfadó por eso, porque era tarea de Todos. Todos
pensó que Cualquiera lo podía hacer pero Nadie se dio cuenta de que Todos no lo haría.
Así fue que Todos culpó a Alguien cuando Nadie hizo lo que Cualquiera podía haber hecho.

El coche de Baba recibe pranams
Un día en las montañas de Kodaikanal, el Mercedes rojo de Baba bajó a la carretera principal. Mi familia
y otros devotos estaban al otro lado del río aproximadamente a un kilometro de distancia. En cuanto el
coche de Baba vino a la carretera general, nos levantamos y unimos nuestras manos a modo de respeto.
La gente se puso en fila a ambos lados de la carretera uniendo sus manos, ofreciendo su respeto a Baba
en el Mercedes rojo. Mientras pasaba el coche, se dieron cuenta de que Baba no estaba en el coche.
Estaba en el autobús con los estudiantes, y dijo, ―Veis el coche está recibiendo todos los pranams. La
razón es que el coche le hacía compañía a Dios y hoy aunque el coche va solo, todos los devotos le
ofrecen su pranams al coche, es decir que se les juzga por la compañía que mantienen. Pero, yo me
pierdo todos los pranams porque estoy con vosotros."

El ojo por ojo convierte en ciego a todo el mundo
(Una historia real que nos enseña como una reacción positiva a una acción negativa puede traer
resultados asombrosos).
En un campamento de verano, un niño pequeño recibió por correo un paquete de galletas de su madre.
Comió unas cuantas, y guardó las restantes bajo su cama. Al día siguiente, después de almorzar, fue a
su tienda de campaña a coger una galleta. La caja no estaba.
Ese mediodía un monitor del campamento, que estaba informado del robo, vio a otro niño sentado detrás
de un árbol comiéndose las galletas robadas. ―Ese jovencito,‖ se dijo, ―ha de aprender a no robar.‖ Volvió
al grupo y buscó al niño al que le habían quitado las galletas. ―Billy,‖ le dijo, ―sé quien cogió tus galletas.
¿Me ayudas a darle una lección?‖
―Vale —¿pero no le vas a castigar?‖ Preguntó el niño extrañado
―No, eso solo haría que se resintiera y te tuviera manía,‖ explicó el monitor.
―Quiero que llames a tu madre y le pidas que te envíe otra caja de galletas.‖ El niño hizo lo que le dijo el
monitor y unos días más tarde recibió otra caja de galletas por correo.
―Ahora,‖ dijo el monitor, ―el niño que te cogió las galletas está en el lago. Ve y comparte con el tus
galletas.‖
―Pero,‖ protestó el niño, ―el es el ladrón.‖
―Lo sé. Pero inténtalo—mira a ver qué pasa.‖
Media hora más tarde el monitor vio a los dos subiendo la colina, agarrados del brazo. El niño que había
cogido las galletas intentaba de todo corazón que el otro aceptara su cartera como pago de las galletas
robadas, y la víctima rechazaba de todo corazón el regalo de su nuevo amigo, diciendo que unas
cuantas galletas no tenían tanta importancia.

DIVINAS EXPERIENCIAS
Nací en un pueblo recóndito al Norte de Travancore cuando el siglo diecinueve aún tenía tres años y
unos días. Me colegié en el Estado de Cochin bajo un gran director que se había encontrado con Swami
Vivekananda y quien iluminó en nuestras pequeñas lámparas las llamas del rezo y el arrepentimiento.
Fui a la universidad en Trvandrum y, tras terminar la diplomatura y licenciatura, me aseguré un trabajo
como profesor universitario en Historia en una universidad en Mysore.
El barco del pueblo, en el que yo, mi mujer y mi madre viajábamos a lo largo del canal y las aguas
muertas de la Costa Oeste en la primera vuelta del viaje para coger el tren hacia Ernakulum, fue
detenido pasada la media noche en medio de unas aguas muertas oscuras por un guarda costero, que
gritaba órdenes desde la orilla. Gritó en la oscura noche, ―¿A dónde vas?‖ y esperó una respuesta. Mi
barquero tenía un gran sentido de humor. Gritó de vuelta,‖ ¡Vamos a Mysore!‖ (¡Todos sabíamos que
Mysore estaba en el interior!) El guarda costas no le reprendió por su impertinencia, porque también
estaba de buen humor. Se rió y le preguntó ―¿Por qué dices Mysore? ¿No conoces ningún lugar más allá
de Mysore?‖
Poco sabíamos entonces, que había un lugar más allá de Mysore, unos cientos de millas al norte de esa
Ciudad, un lugar llamado Puttaparthi que nos iba a proporcionar un puerto seguro en las tormentas
turbulentas del mar. Allí iba a conseguir el Profesor que yo quería, cuando mi carrera como profesor y
director universitario iba a llegar a su fin.
Yogi Suddhananda Bharathi, el famoso poeta místico de Tamilnad, dijo, en Abril 1959 cuando dirigía una
conferencia religiosa en Venkatagiri Town presidida por Sathya Sai Baba, ―He practicado Yoga durante
más de 50 años; una vez hice voto de silencio continuo durante más de 20 años; he estado en contacto
con Sri Shirdi Baba, Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri Aurobindo, Sri Meher Baba y otros; ahora, como resultado
de toda esta disciplina, me he encontrado con Sri Sathya Sai Baba."
Serví como Secretario de la Misión Sri Ramakrishna en Mysore durante más de diecisiete años; estuve
en contacto con Sri Siddharooda Swami, Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri Meher Baba y Sri Narayana Guru;
me inicié en Japam, recitación del Nombre del Señor, por Mahapurushji, el discípulo directo de Sri
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, y Presidente de la Misión; y ahora estoy convencido de que, como
resultado de todo esto, estuve a los Pies de Sri Sathya Sai Baba en 1948.
Después de retirarme del servicio de la Universidad de Mysore, desde entonces soy afortunado por estar
en la presencia de Baba, excepto durante un periodo corto cuando trabajé como productor en All India
Radio. He tenido la buena fortuna de mezclarme con muchos de sus devotos que han estado
relacionados más tiempo y más cerca de Él. He aprovechado todas las oportunidades de ser testigo de
eventos que ilustran su divino poder y escuchar sus discursos. Confío en que este libro revelará al lector
algunas de las razones de la lealtad tan extraordinariamente íntima que nos unen a mí y a otros con Él.
Baba es un libro abierto, sin ningún misterio ni pompa ni hermetismo. Todo el mundo se le puede acercar
y estar seguro de alcanzar su Gracia.
Tengo mucha simpatía por los que no son conscientes de la talla de Baba, ya que yo, también, ponía
pegas, dudaba, y no creía en la validez de Baba con todo el sarcasmo y la sátira encontrados en las
novelas, obras de teatro, y ensayos que escribí y publiqué sobre varios temas. Durante muchos años, yo,
en mi estúpido orgullo, tampoco hice ningún esfuerzo por encontrarme con Él. Ahora invito a todo el
mundo, a que venga y comparta su gracia y misericordia y sea testigo del divino poder que Él
personifica.

EL RINCÓN DEL CHEF
Sensacional hamburguesa vegetariana
Ingredientes (4 raciones):
Lo que necesitas:
1/2 cucharón de aceite de oliva virgen extra
3/4 de taza de cereales frescos o descongelados
6 champiñones, en láminas finas
2 cebolletas, en láminas finas
1/2 pimiento rojo, en láminas finas
1 diente de ajo, bien picado
1 cucharada de té de comino
Una pizca de cayena
1/2 cucharada de espinacas frescas troceadas
1 zanahoria, pelada y rallada
1 patata pequeña, pelada y rallada
Sal marina and pimienta negra fresca, al gusto
1/2 taza de migas de pan fresco
1. En una sartén grande calendar el aceite a fuego medio. Añadir los cereales, champiñones, cebolletas
y el pimiento. Cocinar durante 3-4 minutos. Añadir el ajo, el comino y la cayena y cocinar durante 30
segundos. Retirar del fuego y mezclar con las espinacas. Añadir la zanahoria y la patata y remover para
mezclar. Sazonar con la sal y la pimienta (y el chili en polvo, si tenéis).
2. Añadir suficientes migas de pan para que la mezcla se aglutine. Formar cuatro hamburguesas y
colocarlas en un plato.
3. Dejar enfriar durante 1 hora.
4. Echar un poco de aceite en una sartén antiadherente y cocinar las hamburguesas vegetarianas hasta
que se doren por ambos lados.
