We hope you remembered to usher in springtime by setting your
clocks forward! Now that the sun will be shining a little longer,
don’t forget your child needs a full night of sleep! They may not
want to go to bed, but next to a good breakfast, a good night’s
sleep is the most important part of your child’s academic development!

In thinking about assisting you in
planning for next year, we need to
inform you Mimosa will have a NEW
start time. The school start time is
determined by transportation and
based on traffic and student enrollment. Buses begin at elementary
schools and then proceed to high
schools and middle schools. In order
to reach the high school students in a
timely way so they may arrive at
school on time, our start time has
been moved. Beginning for the 20122013 school year, our school start
time will be 7:40. It is currently
7:50. Of course, you will receive bus
pick-up times at “Meet the Teacher”,
but we wanted you to have this information as soon as possible.

Estimados Padres,
Esperamos que hayan recordado cambiar la hora en sus relojes, ya
que la primavera se acerca. Ahora que los dias son más largos, no
olvide que su niño necesita una noche entera de sueño! ¡Quizás no
quieran irse a la cama, pero aparte de un buen desayuno, una buena
noche de descanso es la parte más importante del desempeño académico
de su niño!
El 22 de marzo es nuestra reunión de primavera del PTA.

Para ayudarlos a planificar para el próximo
año escolar, queremos informarles que Mimosa tendrá un NUEVO horario. La hora de
comienzo de clases es determinada por la
transportación y basado en el tráfico y la
matrícula escolar. Los autobuses comienzan recogiendo a los estudiantes de la escuela elemental y luego continuan a la escuela superior e intermedia. Para que los
estudiantes de la escuela superior lleguen a
tiempo, nuestro horario va a cambiar.
Comenzando en el año escolar 2012-2013,
las clases comenzarán a las 7:40. Actualmente comenzamos a las 7:50. Por supuesto recibirá más información sobre los
horarios del autobus durante nuestra orientación, pero queríamos dejarles saber
esta información lo antes posible.
