CONDITIONAL TENSES
SIMPLE CONDITIONAL (PRESENT CONDITIONAL)
sujeto + would + infinitivo
sujeto + would not + infinitivo
would + sujeto+ infinitivo+ ?
FORMULACIÓN: con would seguido del infinitivo sin to del verbo que conjugamos. I would play.
USO DEL CONDICIONAL SIMPLE: aparte de su uso como modal aparece en las oraciones condicionales
de tipo II. If I had time I would study more.
CONDITIONAL CONTINUOUS
sujeto + would be + gerundio
sujeto + would not be + gerundio
would + sujeto + not be + gerundio
FORMULACIÓN: con would be seguido de gerundio. I would be playing.
USO DEL CONDICIONAL CONTINUO: sustituye al futuro simple continuo en estilo indirecto.
He told me that she would be working tomorrow too.
PERFECT CONDITIONAL
suj + would have + part pas suj + would not have + part pas
would + sujeto + not have + part pas
FORMULACIÓN: con would seguido del infinitivo perfecto (sin to) del verbo conjugado.
USO DEL CONDICIONAL PERFECTO: en condicionales de tipo III. If he had wanted to tell me something
he would have phoned me days ago.
PERFECT CONDITIONAL CONTINUOUS
suj + would have been + ger
suj + would not have been + ger
would + suj + not have been + ger
FORMULACIÓN: con el perfect conditional de to be seguido del verbo conjugado en gerundio. Esto es,
would have been invariable seguido del gerundio.
USO DEL CONDICIONAL PERFECTO CONTINUO: sustituye al futuro perfecto en oraciones en estilo
indirecto. The mechanic said that we would have been suffering problems in our old cars if he had not
repaired them.
