(Instrucciones: Lee el diálogo en voz alta con tu profesor.) Stella and Lisa are discussing if Santa Claus should give presents equally to all children. Stella: Lisa, don’t you find it strange that Santa Claus brings the presents equally to all children however rich or poor they are? Lisa: Of course not. It is common sense that he is kind of a father for all children. Stella: Well, maybe you’re right. In my opinion, generally rich children must get more toys throughout the year than poor children. So then, shouldn’t Santa give more toys to poor children on Christmas? Lisa: You have a point there. But I don’t think all of the rich kids are that happy, even though they are wealthy and live in luxury. Stella: What do you mean? Lisa: Some of the rich kids don’t have enough time to play with other kids. They have to study a lot in cram school, they need to know manners, etc. You know, their parents raise them to let them become the successors of their family business. Stella: I see. From that point of view, they might not be very happy. Maybe Santa should be equal to every kid. Lisa: Yes, and I don’t think I was unhappy during my childhood. I enjoyed playing with toys so much when I was a poor child! 2 Copyright © since 2013 Engoo All Rights Reserved.
